So let me preface by saying that I am not an ordinary beer drinker. When I’m out at a bar, I order a cocktail, or a White Claw if I’m feeling like a Gen-Z’er in that moment. But when my friend showed up to band practice with a case of limited-edition Busch Apple, I formed a fast friendship with beer, and I was simply hooked.
As I said earlier, I do not go out of my way to drink beer. The smell never enticed me, and my first sips of it as a legal adult made me question why everyone was always so eager to turn 21. When I was handed this crisp, red can of Busch Apple, and I popped it open, I was met with the familiar fragrance of fall, and the juicy aroma of apples that I can’t ever get enough of.
After the first sip, I had to do a double-take. Had I finally found a beer I could stomach? Why was I not immediately grossed out by the wheaty flavor? Well, this beer mimics that first delicious crunch of an apple, plucked from the orchard tree, and satisfies on the hottest of summer evenings.
One may even say it is reminiscent of Angry Orchard hard cider, so if you find that you are not really enticed by the idea of apple-flavored beer, I can assure you that this is not apple-flavored beer. It is perfection.

French onion chip dip may not be an unheard-of concept, but let me fill you in on a secret; those jars of Lay’s French onion dip are NOT the real deal, folks. You have not had chip dip, if it hasn’t been Bison chip dip.
Located in the dairy section of the local supermarkets, this creamy concoction is smooth with just the right amount of French onion sprinkled in, and it pairs perfectly with any variety of potato chip. Regular, wavy, kettle, or even spooned out of the container on its own if you are brave!
So next time you find yourself in Buffalo, or in the home of a native Buffalonian, ask about Bison chip dip. You’ll be stocking up on it at Wegmans before you trek back to your Bison-less town.

If there’s one thing my thick, curly hair adores, it’s humidity! NOT! Summers have always left my hair looking like Anne Hathaway before her makeover in The Princess Diaries, and unlike Anne Hathaway, I am not royalty, nor is anyone coming to give me a makeover, so I found a way to tame the frizz myself!
I have been a devout Love Beauty & Planet haircare user since I switched to cruelty-free products back in 2018. I use the lavender shampoo and conditioner daily, and my hair has looked healthier than ever. When I saw this smoothing cream, I was skeptic because prior anti-frizz creams have left my hair dry and, well, frizzy.
This product, however, allows my curls to freely bounce in the summertime without being devoured by the heat. Granted, I live in New York, so it never really gets too hot, but any native will tell you our humidity is not nice when it’s here!
A couple of pumps of this cream after a shower truly makes its difference. I comb it through and let my hair air-dry, and even in the early hours of the drying process I already notice a difference!

As someone who shaved her eyebrow half-off as a child, I have always struggled to feel confident with my patchy brow. I spent my teenage years penciling in my eyebrows with thick, unappealing brow powders and crayons, which only weakened my hairs and made my eyebrows even more depressed.
Then I found solace in the beauty section at Target (my happy place). I have always gravitated to the “cheaper” cosmetic lines, because I am a broke college student, so when I found this ELF Enhancing Lash & Brow Serum for only $8, I had to give it a try.
The box recommends using this serum twice per day — once in the morning, and once at night. I have incorporated this serum into my daily and nightly routines, and the results have left me embracing my naked brows without the need to wear brow makeup! Areas of patchiness have filled themselves in, and I now find I can actually trim my eyebrows without butchering them horribly!

As a struggling college student, spending pennies on drive-thru coffee takes a serious toll on my bank account. Waking up early enough to make coffee always seemed to be such a daunting task, that is until I discovered the Keurig single-serve coffee maker!
The simplicity of placing a K-cup pod into the machine and pulling the lever ‘til the pod is pierced makes this device accessible for all ages of caffeine fiends, and for my fellow devout four-season iced coffee fanatics, you do not need to buy a separate iced coffee maker! Just simply pour your brew over ice and you’ll find that your wallet will be much happier, too!
