So good for sensitive skin! I have the fragrance free version and my skin loves it. I get the worst razor rashes, dry and itchy legs, etc. from shaving and this body wash does not irritate my skin. I sometimes use it as a shaving cream (which apparently you can do) and, while it hasn't cured my sensitive skin, it helps to soothe and moisturize. I also haven't had any breakouts on my back from this, either. Overall, a great, basic body wash that I will keep in my shower from now on. -

I'm not a self-tanning expert by any means but I do love me a great tan, so I picked this up at the drugstore. If I need a tan I usually do a Versa Spa tan (they are GREAT) or try to get out in the sun but I've been so busy with school this summer and I was craving a glow. I find that it is really difficult to get an even application with this, no matter how much I try to rub it in and blend it I always end up getting streaks. It has a LOT of shimmer, which I'm not crazy about either. A few good things: it dries really really quickly, it doesn't go orange on me, it reaches its full colour after a couple hours, and it leaves my skin feeling really soft. Ultimately, I think there are way better products out there. Messing around with this one isn't fun. -

Love this shadow/pressed pigment! It is gorgeous as stand-alone color and works beautifully with a range of different shades. It doesn't crease on me without primer (a touch of concealer, light dust of setting powder and then I use this shadow) and I have fairly oily eyelids! The quality is amazing- it doesn't fade or move throughout the day and I haven't noticed much fallout. It is very easy to work with, very blendable, buildable, and you can layer it on top of other shades to achieve whatever look you want. The color is very unique- pictures don't do it justice at all! It reminds me a bit of foil shadows, with a great creamy formula. Just using this one shadow, I feel like I look instantly put together. Love! My only issue is the price. I live in Canada and I paid $12-something for it at Shoppers. I know it's much cheaper in the states, like most drugstore makeup. Still totally worth it, especially for the amount of product you get. -

This is a really solid powder for me- I bought the Matte & Poreless version. I like how soft and smooth it is, it is very easily picked up onto a brush or sponge and it doesn't leave that dreaded powdery look to the skin. Usually, I lightly set my makeup with Coty Airspun loose powder and go over my T-zone with another powder better suited to mattify the skin. I have also used this all over the face. I think it sets makeup very nicely, absolutely no issues with that. I didn't give this the full 5 stars because it doesn't keep me matte throughout the day. I don't expect anything to really keep me matte all day without touchups, but I find this really doesn't keep the oil at bay much better than most powders. I think it will work well during the winter when I still get oily in my T-zone, but not as much. I do LOVE this for touchups, it immediately mattifies my skin when I notice that I'm getting quite shiny so I keep it in my bag all the time. It doesn't break up on my skin, doesn't leave a weird color on top of my foundation, and it actually reduces the appearance of my pores which I love! I would definitely recommend trying it out. -

I honestly can't stand this product. Maybe the formula has changed since I bought it, but it doesn't meet my standards at all. First, it burns my eyes like crazy. I can't get this near my eye makeup because it irritates the skin as well as the eyes. I have tried removing my eye makeup with this, and the results were sub-par at best. Didn't remove my mascara, didn't do a good job with my gel eyeliner or even my eyeshadow! For face makeup it's okay as a first pass I guess, but it's actually very drying. When I use my Clarisonic afterwards, there is definitely a lot of foundation on the brush. There are 100x better products on the market. Don't recommend, will never repurchase. -

THIS! I first tried this a few years ago and fell in love, it is so gentle on the skin and removes makeup SO well. It gets all of my face makeup off- when I use my Clarisonic after I usually don't have any foundation remnants or anything on the brush. It removes my eye makeup very well also, even waterproof mascara (though for waterproof mascara I like to use something like jojoba oil to make sure it's all gone and to nourish my lashes). It is also great for cleansing when my skin is really sensitive, like after too much chemical exfoliation. It doesn't break me out, even if I use it as my sole cleanser for a few days. I like to use it to cleanse in the morning, since my skin is quite prone to dryness even though it is typically combination-oily throughout the day. Overall, I can't see myself using another makeup remover for my face since this one works SO well! Will keep repurchasing. -

The Blendtec blender is a must-have kitchen tool for me! My family got this blender a few years ago when we got tired of lower-quality blenders that just not cutting it anymore. I researched between the Vitamix and the Blendtec and ultimately got the Blendtec (mainly because it was at Costco at the time- I've seen both there though). The difference between the Blendtec and a regular blender was INSTANTLY noticeable. This blender blends anything with ease and efficiency! I mainly make smoothies but have experimented with nut butters, pestos, soups, avocado-chocolate mousse... you name it! I use it for jobs that typically I'd need to break out my food processor for, like blending dates or making no-bake snack bars. It's functionality is great and the quality is amazing. My blender is still like new. If I ever needed to replace it, I would in a heartbeat. My morning smoothie is done in a heartbeat and washing it is SO easy, I literally just need to rinse it out if I do it straight away.
Side note: Blendtec offers factory refurbished models of their blenders on their website, which are significantly more affordable than new.

Let me start by saying I have always had very acne-prone skin. After fighting an uphill battle with acne, it finally calmed down a bit and my focus turned to preventing breakouts and diminishing my scars/texture, instead of treating cystic spots. My sister turned me onto this product (she suffered from the same thing) and I absolutely love it! It has totally helped smooth out my skin, diminish the appearance of scars and those stubborn red spots that stay on my skin long after the spot has healed. It did make my skin a little red the first few times I used it, but that went away quickly. It never burned but did sting slightly around my nose, nothing unbearable or uncomfortable. I mostly use it at night and when I wake up my skin looks plumper and noticeably less red on the areas that I get that acne-induced redness. It has also diminished the frequency of my breakouts and helps them go down faster. Recently my skin has decided to go back to its 16-year-old self after going off of hormonal birth control so I foolishly stopped all moisturizers, including this one, and when I reintroduced it my skin looked and felt much better.
The packaging is awesome- it is an airless pumps and it get out ALL the product, so you don't waste your money. It comes in 5% and 10% and as a lotion and a cream (for drier skin). Neostrata did a bit of a brand re-haul in the past few years, changing the packaging and the names of some of their products (I think this used to be called the ultra smoothing lotion- not sure) but they are the same products. One word of advice is when you put this on, do not put any other products over it for about 5-10 minutes. Reason being is that you don't want to change the pH of the product, reducing it's efficacy.

There is something special about this makeup sponge that makes it ideal for application and blending of liquid and creams. I have tried other "dupes" and it's not that they don't apply my makeup well, but I do think that the Beauty Blender is kind of the pinnacle of makeup sponges. It is super durable and doesn't absorb as much product as other sponges on the market. It is really soft and feels lighter and a touch less dense than others and it just makes application and blending SO easy and flawless. As much as I would love an inexpensive dupe, I will keep repurchasing this because I find that others do not compare in their quality! Out of curiosity, I cut my old Beauty Blender in half to see if there was foundation in the core or some kind of dirt, but no- nothing. Completely clean, bright pink like new, and the product was contained to the very very outer layer of the sponge. I clean mine with a mixture of oil (jojoba, avocado, coconut... whatever I have on hand) and mild dish soap and it works like a dream! Next time I'll buy the solid bar BeautyBlender sells to compare. -

Totally cuts through dirt and grime without having to scrub. I love it! -
