I received this product to try for free as part of the Chick Advisor Product Review Club. For background, I have (a LOT of) thick medium length hair that becomes oily really quickly so I typically need to wash my hair every day, otherwise it really shows. I have previously used a DIY dry shampoo with pantry items (powder form) to try to go a day between shampoos on weekends. One significant advantage of the Dove Refresh + Care Volume Dry Shampoo is that it is a spray format so much less messy than what I have previously used. However perhaps because of the spray format, I found that I wasn't able to get it through my hair and into my roots well enough for it to be effective at removing the oil or making my hair look better. I am encouraged seeing a lot of positive reviews so the lack of effectiveness I had may be due to my hair type. I have had a few hairdressers note that my hair is among the top 1% of their clients in terms of thickness and amount of hair - so if this doesn't sound anything like you, it may be worth you trying the product to see if it would work better for you. -

I received this product (along with the shampoo) to try for free as part of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club and have been using it on a nearly daily basis for about two weeks. For background, I have a lot of thick fairly straight hair that becomes oily quickly so I need a shampoo and conditioner system that can handle everyday use. In comparison with the shampoo, I found that the conditioner had nearly no smell. I found that this conditioner rinses out well (which is often a big challenge when I have so much thick hair). After using the shampoo and conditioner system, my hair was indeed soft and smooth like the bottle claims. Overall, I would recommend this shampoo and conditioner system for women looking for a system that can be used everyday to leave their hair soft and smooth. -

I received this product (along with the conditioner) to try for free as part of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club and have been using it on a nearly daily basis for about two weeks. For background, I have a lot of thick fairly straight hair that becomes oily quickly so I need a shampoo that can handle everyday use. The smell was a bit stronger and more perfumy than I expected given the coconut water & lime description, however it didn't irritate my allergies like some other strong smells. I found that this shampoo lathers and rinses out well (which can be a challenge when I have so much thick hair). After using the shampoo and conditioner system, my hair was indeed soft and smooth like the bottle claims. The only downside I found is that, like with all other everyday shampoos I have tried so far, my hair looks oily the next day so needs to be washed again. However, this shampoo didn't make any claims that it would help me go a day without washing. Overall, I would recommend this shampoo and conditioner system for women looking for a system that can be used everyday to leave their hair soft and smooth. -

I kinda feel like these are Dungaroos that are acceptable for adults! The flavour of the Reese spread section alone tastes a lot like Reese peanut butter cups, which is really tasty. I find that the cinnamon flavour from the graham dippers adds a different dimension to the flavour that takes away from the "Reese" flavour so maybe that wasn't the best of a pair for the dipper. It is very expensive though for the value, retailing at about 1,59$ each. It would probably be better value to make this homemade with the Reese spread and some graham crackers if you like the flavour. -

I was lucky to receive this product for free as part of the Product Review Club. For context, club soda with lime juice is amongst my favourite refreshing drinks. I will usually buy the low sodium club soda in 2L bottles and I like to find unsweetened options to drink. I was really pleased to hear that Canada Dry started to make a lemon-lime flavour club soda and I wondered if it tasted like the drinks I make for myself. I found that the Canada Dry lemon-lime club soda did provide a fairly natural lemon-lime flavour. I found that it tasted more like lemon/lime rind than lemon/lime juice: it was a lighter flavour than I normally would choose. That said, I would definitely purchase it again and I would recommend this product to a friend. I think it would be especially good in my case if away from home so I could get the lemon-lime flavour in club soda without needing to bring lime juice with me everywhere I go! I also really appreciated that it came in cans so it didn't go flat. Thank you for the opportunity to try Chick Advisor and Canada Dry! -

I received this product to try for free as part of the Product Review Club. The morning after the first use, I did notice that my skin felt much smoother and softer than usual. I did not have a negative reaction (and this is noteworthy as I do have sensitive skin). I haven't noticed a big difference in the appearance of my skin - I still received comments that I looked tired after a night of poor sleep. I wonder if this is because I have younger skin than others (age 25) so it may not make as big a difference in appearance than others. At this time, the difference I saw didn't justify the price (in that I see similar results with a less expensive moisturizer). However I am encouraged by the amount of positive feedback this product has received and feel like I would take this into product into consideration when skin appearance may be more likely to differ, and discuss this product with family/friends who may be looking for a sleep cream.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank Vichy Canada and ChickAdvisor for this opportunity to try this product. I would not normally be inclined to spend that amount on a skin product but I feel encouraged that the price may be worth it.

This book is a classic, in my opinion. I love how it goes through a life cycle of family and love. This is a story that my mom would read to us before bed most nights when my brothers and I were infants. I feel certain as well that I will read it (and sing it) to my children when the time comes as well. Unlike other Robert Munsch books, it is not as funny, but it still uses repetition and tells a great story. I certainly recommend!

I received this product to try for free as part of the Product Review Club. Given that I have fair skin, I started off with one application per day as recommended. Unlike other acne cleaners I have tried (and typically use), this is a gentler cleanser that does not dry out my skin. I found that it wasn't necessary for me to use a moisturizer after each application like I do other cleaners due to the flaky, dry appearance of the skin - a big plus for this acne cleanser. I have not seen a big difference in my acne: my skin hasn't reacted negatively although I have had some pimples appear. I think that I may need to increase to two applications per day to see if I would see a more significant improvement in the acne. Another thing that I really like about this product is that I find that only a dime-sized amount is necessary to cleanse my face and chest as it spreads incredibly well. I think this will produce good value for the money spent on the product. Overall, I would recommend this product. -

I would typically make snacks fully from scratch, but when I was sick, I needed a simpler solution. The various Duncan Hines mixes were on sale for 1$ so it seemed like a great opportunity to try it out!
It was indeed simpler than making it fully from scratch. Simply add water, eggs and oil (or applesauce) to the mix. The salted caramel sauce is in a separate package (aka, if you would prefer to use it on something else like drizzling it on ice cream, you could).
I discovered that I didn't have the square pan as indicated on the box, I therefore made it in a muffin pan. (Just a note if someone else makes it that way, I would guess that it would have been ready at 350 after about 28 minutes in my oven - I gave it a few extra minutes because the toothpick wasn't coming out fully clean, but it would have been better with a few less minutes). The taste was very good. It came out a little on the dry side, but that was probably my fault. The salted caramel sauce does indeed taste like salted caramel which is good. Overall, I think it would be worthwhile trying again.
