I used to get a cystic zit or two a month, and this has helped me completely get rid of them! It's also helped get rid of some closed comedones. The smell of the liquid is a little funky, a bit sulfur-ous, but it's not too bad and definitely worth it. It's also a bit pricey, but a bottle lasts for a long time, and you can wait for a good sale to go on before buying. -

I don't usually bother with any heat-protection products, and have never found a problem, so I didn't expect too much with this spray. I was pleasantly surprised when I found that my hair was a lot shinier and had less flyaways after using this spray.

I received the Beauty Bar to review as part of the Review Club.
It's a very fragrant and clean-smelling soap without being overpowering. I thought it might be too strong of a smell at first, but it makes my bathroom smell nice and doesn't linger on my skin. One of the things that pleased me the most was how well it lathered, even with slightly hard water. I haven't noticed a difference in the softness of my skin, as other reviewers have mentioned.

My favorite thing about this mascara is that it washes off easily with water. That would probably be a bad thing for someone else, though, and I would definitely not recommend this if you're out on a rainy day, but, after a long outing I don't want to have to be scrubbing my face to get mascara off my lashes.
As far as mascaras go, this one does the job. It doesn't clump my lashes and it gives enough of a lengthening and thickening for a noticeable effect, but nothing dramatic (although I have yet to try an absolutely amazing one).
And while it looks a bit awkward, I don't have any trouble gripping the handle. I would definitely recommend this to someone.

I'm not really into spraying scents onto myself, but after I tried Shania at the store, it was one of those things that you think of when you pass by a store that has something you want.
It's a light floral scent which I swear has a hint of citrus. It smells breezy and fresh, and definitely not too strong.
As a final note, always try on scents and wear them around for a bit before you buy them, because each person's body chemistry can slightly alter a perfume's smell.

I was getting really tired of my eyeshadow creasing all the time. I know lots of people think they have oily eyelids, but I have REALLY oily eyelids. So much so that regular shadows crease within 3-4 hours of me putting them on. Finally, I decided to try using a primer and see where that got me.
Too Faced's Shadow Insurance is pretty amazing. It lasted me 11 hours before my eyeshadow started to crease with just a thin layer of product, and one thing I definitely noticed was that it made the color of the shadow so much more vibrant than without a primer. The shadow also clung to the primer really well.
I can't compare this to Urban Decay's Primer Potion just yet. However, just judging from the packaging, I would go with the Shadow Insurance, since they're the same price and I'm lazy as heck and would rather not cut open a bottle just to reach for more product. Also, I've read other reviewers that have compared the two products and they're really about the same, except that the Primer Potion is more popular.
I HAVE tried Lancome's Ombre Perfecteur and that lasted about 8 hours before the shadow started to crease, if that comparison helps.

I recently received two palettes to review, and I got "Taupe Temptress" and "Green with Envy".
When I first tried this product, I noticed shimmer and sparkles. A lot of them. So if you're not inclined to that, I would suggest you stay far away from this eyeshadow. The application was silky smooth, but the colors were not as pigmented as I would have expected, although it's possible to work at building them up to increase the color. In addition, the slightest rub can easily take off the colors, so I would recommend a primer.
I wore this out for about 7 hours, and the sparkles, which I had thought were impossible to miss, were overlooked by my friends from even a short distance and the shadow appeared matte. I wore it without a primer, and, likely due to my oily skin, there was nearly nothing left of the shadow except for what had creased into my eyelids.
Overall, I really like the colors that were paired together in the quads and how the sparkles didn't come loose from the product (and into my eye), but I am a little iffy about the price, which is about $10 at London Drugs.

The reason I thought I'd try this out was because I had an unslightly watch tan that I really wanted to hide. The cream added shimmer to my shin, which gave it a healthy looking glow. There was a light perfumed scent which I didn't find harsh on my senses.
Within a week or so, I started to notice a change in color where I'd applied the lotion. But, IT WAS THE WRONG COLOR. The tinge of color it left me with was a much cooler tone than my actual skin, so I stopped using it immediately.
It's an affordable product, and I really like that it has SPF and the way it made my skin seem to glow. Unfortunately, it's not the right product for my skin tone, and likely not for the majority, either.
