As someone with oily skin, I always have the issue of having my makeup fade away over the course of the day. But except for the odd special occasion, i have shied away from primers because I feel like I'm putting a mask of chemicals on my face. I enjoyed testing out this primer that I received as a surprise from chickadvisor, because I felt like it let my skin breathe and I didn't feel like I was wearing a mask. I used this along with my normal BB cream for the last few weeks, and I feel that it works well. Things stayed in place and I still
had a natural look. I would recommend this primer, and buy it for myself when I run out.

The consistency was a little different than I expected, definitely hard to scoop out of the container! Maybe that's a trick to slow you down... The texture isn't necessarily creamy when you bite into it, but it does have a pretty good creamy taste to it. I liked that I could tell I was eating real peanuts, but the peanut flavour was a lot stronger than the cookies and overpowered it a bit.
Another reviewer mentioned that the product is fairly expensive at full price, and I agree. I'm undecided whether I would purchase this in the future.

I was excited to try this moisturizer as part of the product review club. After using it for the past few weeks, I can say that it works well, and is something i would continue to purchase in the future. It doesn't leave your skin feeling heavy, which I like. And it has a nice fresh scent - also an important factor in my books. I hate flowery smelling things on my skin, and this moisturizer just smells clean and nice.
Since it's winter, I can't speak for the spf effectiveness, but i will continue using it as my regular moisturizer throughout the months to come. I have never had rough skin, so I can't say it's transformed my face in that respect, but it definitely has a nice soft feel on the skin and has really helped to maintain my skin. Thumbs up!

To be honest, my first impression of the micellar water was "umm...how is this supposed to work???" But it actually works! I usually just use soap and water to cleanse my face, but I was pleasantly surprised at what a good job this product did at removing my makeup. Since I wear waterproof mascara, I used something different to remove my eye makeup, but afterwards would use the micellar water all over my face to remove any traces of oil or makeup. It leaves your skin feeling fresh and clean without any residue.
This would be a great product to have on hand when travelling, all you need is a cotton pad and your bottle of micellar water and you're good to go.

I have been using the volum' express "falsies" for the last little while and I really like it. But I saw this one, and since it was on sale I thought I would try it instead. It lengthens my lashes, but it definitely doesn't volumize them, not even a little. :( I thought the gel formula would be nice and lightweight for a change, as falsies has a fairly thick formula. But I didn't find this to have the effect I wanted. The big brush and bendy wand also make it real tricky to use well, leaving me with wonky, un-volumized lashes. Not cute. -

I received a sample of this as part of the product review club, and overall I was happy it. I'm forever on the hunt for the perfect deodorant, and so it was nice to try another one out.
The pros:
I received this sample in the scent "beauty finish" and I was pleasantly surprised that I actually liked the smell! Most antiperspirants I've tried have a weird sickly-sweet smell that I absolutely hate. I would say that this scent is sweet, but it smells quite fresh on. So big points for that one!
The cons:
I found that this really left a lot of marks on my black shirts. Naturally I wasn't expecting it to be invisible or anything like that, but seeing as I'm someone who wears a lot of black, I really noticed this. It seemed to be more noticeable than other antiperspirants I've used in the past.
As far as fulfilling its claims, (that of making my armpits all nice and fancy) I guess I would give it a 7 out of 10. It definitely wasn't drying, so that's good. I wouldn't say that the appearance of my armpits is vastly improved, but I guess I can notice a little bit of moisturizing qualities. I have only been using this for just over a week, so perhaps over time I'll have more to say on this.
Overall a good value, I will continue to use this on a daily basis...maybe just not with my black sleeveless shirts...

This is my favorite facial moisturizer so far. I've tried a few others over the last few years, but always seem to come back to this. I have fairly oily skin, which is becoming combination skin as I get older, so I'm always looking for something that covers both bases. This by no means is a mattifying cream, but it does a nice job of moisturizing. Also it's kind of a gel, and doesn't feel heavy on your face. I use it under my makeup, and also at night before bed. And I find when i wake up in the morning, my face looks much more alive when i've used it as compared to when I forget.
Also the smell is nice. Can't go wrong with pomegranite.
As far as price goes, it's about middle of the road. More expensive than standard drug store moisturizers, but cheaper then other high end moisturizers. I don't mind paying it because it works for me, and the jar lasts fairly long.

-Scent: you can buy the unscented version, which i usually lean towards. But in this case i found the smell to be nice and somewhat comforting, it didn't bother me at all.
-Moisturizing: lives up to its name. Most soaps are drying and I always use moisturizer afterwards. I tried going without for a few days while using this, and my skin didn't bother me. Since I usually use moisurizer, i wouldn't neccesarily stop, but if i was pressed for time one day i would feel happy just using the beauty bar and not worrying about the rest.
No cons that i found. I'd give it a thumbs up.

I received this eye roller as part of the product review club. I actually like it a lot. It's easy to use, and works really well to get rid of puffy eyes. One morning my eyelids were going a bit crazy...i think they were partying all night without my knowledge...so i tried putting some of this on there...in a couple minutes we were in working order and i was just about good to go. My only complaint would be that it doesn't seem to fade dark undereye circles like it suggests it will, but it does provide a good basis for putting concealer on top if you need to. That being said, i would still buy it for the de-puffing action. Also it smells pretty good and is kind of fun to use. -

I have the Rainforest Shine collection and it works really well. My hair is naturally shiny, but the shampoo and conditioner just add to it. People comment on it all the time. Also, it smells really good. It makes me happy when i take a shower every morning, and whenever i hug someone and they smell it, they seem to be pretty happy about it too. The only thing is it took me a while to get use to the consistency. The shampoo and conditioner are both meant to be mixed with water before you start sudsing up your hair, so that can be a little weird to get used to. If you don't mix it with water beforehand, its pretty hard to get your bubbles going and your hand just ends up sticking to your head. Also, i don't like the conditioner as much as a like the shampoo, i don't think it works as well as a conditioner as it could. I personally would like it to be more detangling and softening like most conditioners are. However, i probably should have bought the moisturizing one if i wanted that...that's what i'm going to try next time. I really like the shampoo though, I'd buy it again for sure. -
