Garnier's SkinActive Micellar Water is a very interesting product - well-priced too! The first brand to my knowledge that made micellar cleansing waters was Bioderma - however, I was always well-aware of how pricey it was. Savvy shoppers all over can now rejoice over Garnier's version! While I've never tried another micellar water for comparison's sake, I can say that this stuff is great. It feels just like water, has no detectable scent, and is effective in removing makeup. I still use a tiny bit of cleanser after, but that's just me. And so long, makeup wipes that leave a residue! On those nights when you're way too tired to bother with your foaming cleanser, here's your hero. Just a couple gentle swipes over your face, and you're good to go!

I stumbled upon this powder at the store while waiting on some friends one day. I had been using NARS Light Reflecting Pressed Powder for the past year, but that thing costs a pretty penny. On the lookout for a less expensive alternative, I sought something finely milled, undetectable on the skin, and with some oil-control properties. My main usages: setting makeup, and perhaps sometimes to use as a mattifier.
I enjoyed that the Milani gives a bit of coverage - not something that I was looking for, but did appreciate. Not only does it tick all the boxes that are my face powder requirements, but it also came with a handy mirror and puff for application - like! However, I do have to mention that this powder is scented. It's not a super cloying smell, but it is there. All in all, a solid pick at $9.99 CAD.

Thanks to Chick Advisor's Product Review Club, I was able (and willing!) to test this product - normally, I wouldn't go for this one, as I have a go-to product already. The Go Sleeveless in Beauty Finish smells pretty good, and doesn't feel drying. While I did get a little sweaty throughout the day, it wasn't something I minded too much - as long as I didn't smell iffy! The next time I'm looking for a new anti-perspirant to try, I'll definitely look into Dove Go Sleeveless. -

Nail look nice, clean, and put-together -- even if minimal effort has been made. Application of the polish is very forgiving, which is good if you don't have too much time on your hands. -
I have the UD single eyeshadow in Mushroom, and it's amazing. Buttery-soft in texture, and rich in colour.. I don't know what else I could ask for! It's a little pricey, but I do think that it's worth it.

I've tried so many concealers for my extremely dark undereye circles over the years, and have found that this is the best at looking natural and in concealing power. It does manage to make waterproof eyeliner or mascara smudge a bit though - probably due to its maracuja oil content.. Due to this, I can't say that I won't still be on the hunt for something better, but currently it's got HG status in my books! -

First and foremost, a huge thanks to the Chick Advisor Review Club for allowing me to test this product!
In short, these Crest Whitestrips are the best alternative (that I've come across, anyway) to the other pricey teeth-whitening procedures out there. I find them effective, comfortable, and convenient! A box of these go for about $55-60 CAD, currently. I'd say they're a great deal, considering the price of other procedures/products.
For the 5 days that this product is used for, I used the Whitestrips in the comfort of my own home while on the computer/watching TV - the fact that you can stick them on when you've got a little bit of free time is *very* helpful.
In terms of results, I would say that these are as effective as claimed. My teeth are, indeed, whiter than before, and I am very pleased with the outcome! I experienced a little bit of sensitivity after use, but for me, it was no big deal. Just a note that my teeth were not originally very yellow or stained, so I can't speak for those who are looking to achieve a great difference in the whiteness of their teeth. Nevertheless, I think that anybody who wants to brighten up their pearly whites should definitely consider this product!

My first impression of the Dove Original Beauty Cream Bar is the following: it. smells. so. nice.
I'm not very good at describing fragrances, but it smells quite floral and fresh. It's a very clean and pretty fragrance! But be forewarned, sensitive-nosed ladies - if you are looking for something that has very little or no fragrance, this beauty bar in particular may not be for you! I am unsure of whether or not Dove makes an unscented option.
This bar produces a nice, creamy lather, and does not make my skin feel taut or dry after my shower. It is definitely moisturizing, and I can see it lasting a long time as well!
Dove Original Beauty Cream Bar is a gem for those who don't use, or are tired of body washes.
It's also affordable, easily accessible, and definitely worth your money. I recommend giving it a try, if you haven't already!

This is a thick, rich masque - so be warned: use liberally! Just a quarter-size blob is enough for my long, thick hair.
Although it's rich, I find that it's easy to rinse out, and doesn't leave any residue in my shower, or in my hair. It also makes my hair oh so soft, as promised.
Unlike my other hair treatments, this does not weigh my hair down, and makes my hair shinier.
I would recommend anybody with dry/damaged hair to give this a try!

It's a nice shampoo that lathers up quite nicely - at first I thought it smelled kind of strange; kind of like bananas and citrus, but it's definitely tolerable (and perhaps even considered yummy to some).
I have long hair that is relatively healthy, although I shower and blow dry my hair every night. I usually also do a quick run-through with a flat iron, so my hair isn't exactly sheltered from damage.
I found the shampoo moisturizing, but it was still able to clean effectively. Big plus. My hair is a bit more soft and shiny with this shampoo, compared to my usual drugstore shampoo. It's not a big enough difference for me to want to buy it in stores, but I would definitely recommend this to you ladies with dry/damaged hair!
