I got this product free to try and I was really excited to use the oil since I get a lot of split ends and my hair is always dry. The instruction says to put 1-2 pumps on wet hair, but I ended up putting more because it didn’t felt like the oil was going into my hair since my hair was wet. However, after my hair dry, I could really feel that my hair was oily and a bit too oily. I guess that is a good sign since it is keeping my ends moist. I tried it again another day and used just 1 pump and it was great on my ends. My hair is more shiny after using the oil. I also love the smell of coconut and it wasn’t too overpowering since there was ylang ylang scent as well. I would recommend it to my friends and family if they have dry hair with split ends like me! -

I got the Aveeno leave-on mask free to try and I thought it did a good job. I normally don't use leave-on masks because it either makes my skin too moist and leads to breakouts or it is way too sticky even though I put it on at night. However, this product did not have these issues. I use it before I go to bed and didn't even have to put on another moisturizer and my skin felt soft the next morning. No dryness at all. I also love the smell of the mask! My skin got some radiance after using it too! I can't visibly see a reduction of fine lines but since my skin does not feel try, it felt like lines would not show as easily. I would recommend this to my friends and family as it is a really convenient mask to put on at any time of the day! The price of the mask could be a bit more affordable considered it is a drugstore brand. -

This is one of 3 Knorr meals that I got for free to try. It is really easy to make and you can get a meal enough for one person in just 10 minutes. I did find that this tomato sauce was a bit too sour for my liking. I also would suggest cooking the pasta for longer than 8 minutes or cover the pot when cooking. Otherwise, the texture of the pasta is too firm. I would suggest putting in some meat so that it soaks up some of the flavor as it I find it a bit salty. For this price, I think it is a good value when you are short on time, but for health-wise, I would still prefer to make my own sauce to go with my pasta. I find that you can’t really control the saltiness of the sauce because you are throwing in the sauce powder. I would still try out some of the other flavors that Knorr offers but this tomato and basil sauce was not something that I really enjoyed. -

This is one of 3 Knorr meals that I got to try for free. It is actually my first time cooking these pre-made Knorr packets. I find that it is really simple and fast since you don’t have to worry about making a sauce to go with your pasta. At first, I did find that my sauce is runny even after cooking it for longer than what the instruction said, but when I cook the second packet, it seemed fine. If you are really pressed on time, this is an excellent way to make your pasta. Otherwise, I would still prefer buying my own pasta and cooking it from scratch and make you own sauce. The texture of the pasta just doesn’t taste the same as some of the store bought pasta. The roasted garlic pesto sauce was good but I did find it a bit salty. You would definitely need to have some proteins to go with it. -

The brown rice and quinoa was actually one of my favorite out of the 3 skillet meals that I tried for free. It was easy to make and didn’t require me to add much seasoning. I normally dislike brown rice and quinoa since I find the taste quite bland. With the Knorr’s ready made packets, the seasoning included was perfect and I could just add any protein of my choice to it. The seasoning gave it so much flavor that I am starting to not mind eating brown rice and quinoa. I did overcook and burnt the brown rice/quinoa a bit as I left it on the stove top too long, but that actually gave it a really nice flavor. I think this would be a really simple and healthy meal for after work. While the rice is cooking, you can easily be making other dishes to go with the meal. -

I couldn’t wait to try out Aveeno Eczema care as I recently had been getting eczema on the back of my neck due to stress. In the past, I had been using over the counter cream that contains around 1% of hydrocortisone. Even though it works, I’m still a bit reluctant to use it frequently. With Aveeno, I feel safe to put on multiple layers of the cream at the back of my neck during the day. It doesn’t cause peeling of my skin, which I feel is better for me. The cream is quite moisturizing but yet is not too greasy. It relieves the itchiness of my skin but seems to work slower than the drugstore cream. I would use this cream if I don’t need to get rid of my eczemas or flare ups immediately. My sister had also tried putting on the cream on her fingers as skin has been peeling off. It seems to be helping with the peeing after one use. This cream would be good to have at home for many uses. It's also a great value for a huge tub of cream! -

NIVEA 2-in-1 Moisturizing Primer for Dry to Sensitive Skin works well under my makeup and kept my skin moist all day! Since I #gotitfree, I decided to try it out over several days to see how effective it is. I normally have to put on moisturizing cream before I put on makeup and other primer, but since the Nivea primer is quite moisturizing, I only need to put on one layer of cream. Because this is a primer type of cream, it doesn't get too oily even after the whole day out. The cream is super light weight does not feel sticky on my skin at all. My makeup goes smoothly on top of this primer too! The price is also quite affordable which means I can slap on more cream if i need to! I would recommend this as opposed to some of the more expensive primers out. -

Hardys Stamp Riesling Gewurztraminer
I like this wine due to its lightness and it is very easy to drink. Both riesling and gewurztraminer are my favourite as they resembles more of a dessert wine. I really like the clean flavour that the wine gives.
