I am very disturbed by some of the recent posts about this clinic and decided to share my experience from April 1. I am in the process of filing a formal complaint with the Ontario Collage of Veterinarians especially after finding out of past reports and reading the negative reviews here. I recently had a very traumatizing experience with my cat at King Hopkins followed by a very disturbing call with the owner of the clinic. My cats euthanasia was botched. It took over 45 minutes for her to pass after the medication was administered because it was not administered properly. At one point during the process the vet picked her up by the scruff of the neck and dumped her into the basket we brought her in. She was a very large cat so this would have caused her much discomfort. Like other reviewers I was told she was aggressive...which she wasn't. She was in respiratory distress, scared and being handled incorrectly. The pain and suffering that she underwent at the hands of this clinic during her final hours is painful to think about. Until this experience I too thought this clinic was good. I caution people to think twice about taking their beloved pets here. The response to their mistakes were equally concerning.    -
