This protein bar reminded me of the childhood classic peanut butter and jelly sandwich. I got this from Homesense for $2.99 plus tax for a bar. I had never seen them sold in Canada before so I was super excited. The bar is 220 calories each and contains a great amount of protein and fibre. This can can be eaten straight from the package or heated in the microwave or oven for a different taste profile and texture. I felt that the jam flavor was very prominent and I wish the peanut butter taste was stronger. The peanut butter flavor came out more when the bar was heated. I felt this bar had a nice sweetness to it and there were peanuts throughout which added a nice crunch and a good nut flavor. I would get this again if I saw it! I like that it reminds me of my favorite sandwich in a protein bar. -

This shampoo and conditioner set states that it does not use as many chemicals so I wanted to give it a try. The price was a bit steep when I purchased it at Loblaws but it seemed worth it because it is paraben and sulfate free. I did not find this shampoo or conditioner worked on my hair. Although it is meant to restore dry hair, it did the opposite for me. I felt the shampoo made my hair extremely dry and frizzy and the conditioner did not do much of anything. I would not buy this again! -

In my family we eat a lot of chicken for dinner. I love this package because it is so easy to use. It gives such a flavorful chicken which is something we all want in our food. You can purchase a package of this from Walmart for under $2. What you do is mix in oil, vinegar and water with the contents of the pouch. You want to make sure all the chicken gets marinated in this sauce. The longer it marinades the stronger the flavor. The spices in this mix are perfection and even picky eaters will enjoy it! -

Shepherd's Pie is one of my favorite dinners. I love the combination of tasty vegetables, juicy ground beef (or chicken or turkey) and creamy mashed potatoes. This package is so easy to use and has a perfect blend of seasoning. When I use this package my shepherd's pie comes out perfect every time. The vegetables and beef is so nicely seasoned and it has that restaurant quality taste. You can buy this package at Walmart or Loblaws and sometimes you will find sales like 3 packages for $5. -

I love ice cream cones, ice cream bars... and well just ice cream in general. Klondike bars tend to be more expensive but I can understand why. They use high quality chocolate, ice cream and sauces. I purchased a box of these from Metro for just over $5. Each package contains 4 individually wrapped bars. The chocolate on the outside is rich and smooth. It has a delicious milk chocolate flavor and is relatively thick. There are little peanut pieces mixed into the chocolate which add a nice crunch and also a mild sweet/salt combination. The vanilla ice cream is rich and creamy. You get a thick layer in each bar. On the top is a gooey and decadent caramel sauce. The caramel sauce reminds me of the kind you would get on a sundae. It is delicious and super tasty. This is one of my favorite Klondike bars. -

I was disappointed by these bars because the image on the cover makes them look so good and fudgey. I purchased a package at Walmart for a very good price - I believe the package contained 5 6 bars for under $10. There are a lot of vitamins and minerals in this protein bar which was also something very appealing since it's hard to always get Vitamin A, C, D, Iron and so forth into your diet. The exterior of the bar was a nice tasting chocolate with rice crisps inside for added crunch. The layer at the top has a mild chocolate fudge flavor but it was not gooey in any way. The bottom layer - the protein portion was very bland. Overall, this bar was pretty bland. The only good thing it has to offer are the vitamins and minerals packed into it. -

I love trying new breads so when I saw a package of these at Costco I knew I had to buy them. You can put some in the freezer if you don't have a big family and then unfreeze them as you need them. These are great for burgers, sandwiches or to eat with dinner. The bread tastes fresh and the exterior is slightly firm and crunchy. The inside is soft yet dense and you get these nice air pockets. I find this bread has a bakery taste to it. -

The salt adds a nice flavor and brings out the pretzel taste. I like the crunch you get when you bite into the pretzel. The middle is a soft almost cheese-powder that is infused with pizza spices. The cheese has a very clear pizza flavor. The taste of the pretzel with the cheese and pizza spices is amazing. You get a good amount of pretzel bites in each package. I bought this from my dollar store for under $2. -

What I love most about Lara bars is that they contain such minimal ingredients but are packed with flavor. There are a large variety of flavors you can get including: coconut, apple,. blueberry, brownie etc. I really love the peanut butter Lara bar because it is infused with a nice creamy peanut butter flavor. You can taste the sweetness of the date except you don't taste any date flavor. All I could taste was peanut butter with a mild sweetness. There are little peanuts through the bar which add a nice crunch. I really enjoyed the texture of this bar because it is chewy and thick. It reminds me of eating dates that have been compressed. I purchased this bar from Loblaws for around $2. You can also purchase packages which contain around 5 bars in it from Walmart. -

I am totally addicted to these Coconut Butterfly buns. I purchase them for $1 at Loblaws. I cannot find them at the T&T;near me, unfortunately. I am a huge fan of coconut and this bun really does the trick. The bread is light and fluffy. It tastes really fresh. This bread tastes freshly baked if you heat it in the microwave for a few seconds and the coconut flavors really combine with the bread. The bread is mildly sweet but the coconut adds most of the sweetness. The bun itself is not overly sweet and goes well with a glass of milk or tea. There are coconut pockets throughout which are made of shredded coconut. These coconut pockets are simply delicious. If you are a coconut lover you will LOVE this!! The fresh coconut flavor comes through in every bite. -
