You can purchase a package of these buns from T&T;for $5. You get 6 buns per package. You keep the package in the freezer and when you are ready to eat them you put them in a steamer for 15-20 minutes. The bread is soft, fluffy and delicious. It tastes homemade. The bun is round with filling inside (but flat bottom to stand up).The outside of the bread has a mild film on it and the inside is super fluffy. The red bean paste is thick and there is a good amount. The red bean paste is sweet and it is smooth. This tastes like a dessert paste and not like it is made of beans at all. The paste is sweet but not overly sweet and it compliments the bun which does not have a sweetness to it. This is a great option as part of lunch or a side to dinner. -

A individually wrapped bun can be purchased at Metro for $1.25. You can also purchase a pack of 6 individually wrapped buns at Walmart for $5. The bun itself does not contain eggs or nuts. The packaging that the buna comes in is safe to microwave. Warming this bread in the microwave for around 15 seconds makes it taste more fresh and homemade. The top of the bun is coated with small bits of coconut which add a nice crunch as well as a tropical flavor. The bread itself is soft and airy. The inside is fluffy and there are air pockets throughout. The cream tastes like a combination of buttercream and whipping cream. It is a thick consistency and very tasty. It has a nice sweetness but it is not overly sweet. The buttercream is thick and there are coconut flakes throughout. This bun is a great dessert option! -

I purchased a box of these from Walmart. Each box contains 4 individually wrapped ice cream sandwiches. The price point can be around $6 generally speaking, but I bought them on sale for $3.99. These cookies look like regular Oreo cookies except they are much larger in size. In the middle of these cookies is a large quantity of chocolate ice cream with lots and lots of crushed Oreo pieces swirled throughout.
The Oreo cookies are similar in taste profile to the regular chocolate Oreo cookies when it comes to the wonderful deep chocolate flavoring and the lack of extreme sweetness. There is a difference in texture; however, because these Oreo cookies are much softer with only a mild crunch.
When it comes to the ice cream in the middle, it is rich, decadent and creamy. The ice cream is more of a milk chocolate and it has a nice sweetness.
The rich semi-sweet chocolate flavor from the large Oreo cookies mix perfectly with the more sweet and mild flavour of the chocolate ice cream. This has a great textural contrast to it because the cookies are soft with a mild bite and the ice cream is creamy and smooth.

This bar can be purchased at Loblaws or Metro on sale at a price of 2 for $5. Usually, the bar sells for around $3.50, which can be quite expensive. The bar is 190 calories. It contains 52% of your recommended daily fibre and 15% recommended calcium. As soon as the wrapper is opened, little coconut flakes are visible on top of the bar. These coconut flakes are not evenly distributed and each bar does no contain the same amount. This bar is uncoated but it is still from the Fermented Greek Yogurt bars by Protein +. You can mildly taste that it contains some yogurt because there is a bit of a tang. This bar has a strong tropical taste profile, just as would be expected from the name. There is a prominent coconut flavor and the pineapple taste is secondary, but still present. There is a mild protein powder taste to the bar. The bar itself is chewy but there is a great textural contrast from the coconut shreds and the crispies, which are distributed throughout the bar. The overall bar is made up of crispy cereal treats, ground nuts, coconut oil, cashews, raisin or date paste and a few other simple ingredients. -

I bought these protein bars at sale from my local Loblaws. There are 4 bars in each pack and the regular price is around $4. If you find a sale you might be able to get them for $2.99 which means less than $1 each. These protein bars are a good source of calcium which I was thrilled about since I don't drink a lot of milk. The exterior chocolate coating is smooth and it tastes like a chocolate bar. The chocolate layer is the perfect thickness because it is not too thick that it overpowers the bar but it is not too thin that it gets lost. The inside has a play on a Reese peanut butter flavor, it is rich, creamy and yet has a mild saltiness to it. These are crunchy rice treats inside which add a nice texture. The consistency of the inside of the bar is similar to that of a rice krispy square. It has a nice crunch to it. I love this protein bar! I would recommend anyone who likes chocolate and/or peanut butter to try it. -

When you open the packaging you get a nice cinnamon and spice smell. There is a layer of fermented Greek yogurt coating around the bar. The Greek Yogurt layer is not overly thick but it does have a great vanilla flavor with a kick of cinnamon. The exterior coating compliments the pecan and cinnamon flavor inside the bar. The Greek Yogurt coating also adds a nice sweetness to the overall bar since the inside of the bar is not sweet. The inside of the protein bar is made up of a protein blend, pecan pieces, raisins, protein crisps. The raisins add a nice sweetness as well as a more chewy texture. There are also pieces of pecans and rice crisps within that add a great texture contrast. The inside of the bar has a pecan tart flavor minus the ooey filling. There is a nice pecan, cinnamon and spice flavor. There is not a strong protein taste to this bar. The bar is chewy and there are crunchy parts too. -

During the holiday season, this CLIF bar flavor can be purchased at Loblaws for $2. The bar is 250 calories. This bar is made up of a chocolate base and it contains rice cereal treats, brown rice syrup, date paste, cocoa and cocoa butter. When you take this from the package it has a deep cocoa smell. The base has a crunchy texture to it which is nice because it takes longer to eat and chew. The bar is drizzled with a white chocolate and there are white chocolate chips throughout the bar which are supposed to act as the marshmallows This bar does not have a strong chocolate flavor. There is a mild hint of freshly brewed hot chocolate when you eat this, but it is lacking a lot in flavor. Overall, this bar contains very little chocolate flavor and very little taste in general. The white chocolate chips add a gentle sweetness and when the bar is microwaved they melt and the sweet flavor gets infused more throughout which also adds a marshmallow-like texture.. The chocolate flavor comes out slightly more when the bar is warmed. This bar was super disappointing, and I would not repurchase. Clif makes much better and flavorful bars. -

This can be purchased at Walmart for around $5. I bought a jar for the first time and I was pleasantly surprised. This is not overly sweet and it has a nice pleasant crushed cookie flavor. I feel I get a cinnamon and spice taste when eating this cookie butter. This spreads reminds me of gingerbread cookies crushed and mixed with butter & spices, then put in a jar. I like that this is smooth in texture. The spread is creamy and decadent. You taste the same flavor profile as if you are eating Lotus cookies. There is a nice caramelized flavor to the cookie. This is great on bread, crackers, apples or other food where you would put peanut butter. This is a good alternative to those with peanut allergies. -

I am a huge fan of protein bars so when I saw this one on sale for $0.99 each at Loblaws I knew I had to try it. Mint and chocolate is a great flavor combination!! This protein bar has a dark chocolate exterior which is not too sweet nor too bitter. The chocolate tastes high quality. Inside of the bar are chocolate rice crisps which add a nice crunchy texture. There is a strong mint flavor throughout the bar. You get that nice hint of cool mint mixed in with the dark chocolate. The flavors work every nicely together. This felt like I was eating a dessert. I loved all the various tastes and textures working in your mouth. This protein bar is nice and crunchy. This bar is vegan and does not contain GMOs. It is also gluten free so great for those with allergies. -

The bar has peanut halves on the top (not many) and it varies depending on the bar. Peanut pieces provide crunch-- from top of bar and a few on sides of bar. The top of the protein bar also has a light coating of nut butter-- this enhances nut flavor in bar. You can really taste peanut butter in this bar and it’s great for all peanut butter lovers! This bar is soft and chewy if eaten straight from the package. Tastes like a baked cookie when not microwaved. Softer in texture than a Quest bar-- so not the exact same texture. This bar can be put in the microwave for approx. 20 seconds for chewier texture. Smells strong of peanut butter when microwaved. There is a strong enough peanut butter taste-- both cold and microwaved. When warmed, doesn't get baked cookie texture like Quest bar… more like soft taffy but not sticky that it gets stuck in teeth. -
