These bars can be purchased at Loblaws on sale for $1.50. Each bar 200 calories. Gluten-free so good for allergies. A lot of people with kids who have allergies or diabetes can eat these bars (this brand). The main ingredients are almonds, honey, crisp rice, and sea salt. These nut bars are very crunchy- not soft. When you eat this bar, the taste and crunch is similar to if you are eating actual raw nuts. There is a mild sweetness that comes from the caramel (comes through in some bites but not all). This bar has a somewhat thick caramel bottom with a light caramel drizzle on top. The caramel flavour, however, is not very strong and the bar could be better if you actually tasted a stronger caramel flavor. The sweet and salty combination is not strong at all, which is disappointing. Sweet/salty combo only comes through in some bites and it is only mildly even then. Stronger salty than sweet taste. This is my favorite nut bar brand I’ve tried (this is the first bar I tried of brand)- --went right back out to buy more different flavors. The top of the bar is a mix of full nuts. There is a nutty and earthy flavor that comes through.Taste of sea salt is quite strong-- not deceiving like a lot of bars are (cant taste sea salt even when they mention it) but in this bar you can taste the sea salt a lot. -

I purchased a pack of these cookies from a local grocery near my house. They are a very reasonable price and a lot of cookies come in each pack. You can have 4 cookies for 150 calories. I can imagine these cookies would be great with tea. These biscuits have a nice sweetness that is not overpowering. I have known many people to use these cookies to make a cheesecake crust. The texture of the cookie is somewhat thick and it has a nice crunch to it. There is a nice caramelized flavor to the biscuit and I taste notes of cinnamon. This biscuit reminds me a little of a gingerbread cookie because of the flavors, spices and the texture. I love that you get that crunch when you bite into a cookie with a hint of cinnamon and spice and then that nice sweetness and caramel flavor. This are unique and delicious! I would buy them again. -

The price of this bar is more expensive than most, but I find them very high-quality and well worth the price.
This flavor is wonderful because it is natural tasting and simple. It is great for anyone who loves nuts. There are a lot of pieces of full and half almond throughout the bar which add a nice nutty taste and a crunchy texture. This bar is PERFECT for almond lovers! Vanilla extract flavor is present and it tastes warm and gentle. This bar does not have an artificial vanilla taste. This bar has a nice sweetness, but it is not overly sweet. The texture of the bar is chewy and dense if not microwaved. When microwaved, the vanilla flavor is slightly less so you get a more almond taste, while still getting that mild hint of vanilla. When microwaved the bar is more chewy and less dense - it has a cookie dough type texture. On the wrapper there is a layered vanilla sponge cake with almonds --- and the taste of this bar is very representative of that.

The bar is coated with a thick enough layer of what tastes like a delicious and creamy milk chocolate. Inside the chocolate coating is a layer of thick and rich caramel sauce. Most protein bars have a caramel sauce that is not very tasty, but I found this caramel almost tastes like the one found in a Snickers chocolate bar. This protein bar has a nice peanut flavour. There is a peanut and peanut butter flavour that is prominent throughout the nugget inside the bar. There are peanut pieces throughout the bar which add a mild saltiness and also a crunch. This is a good protein bar and I would recommend anyone who likes peanut butter or caramel to try it. I purchased this for $2.50 from Metro. There is 12% fibre in each bar and 15% calcium. -

I bought this protein bar on sale from Shopper's Drug Mart. It was 2 for $5. After eating it, I wish I had bought A LOT more! This protein bar is one of the best I have ever tried. I ate half of the protein bar straight from the package and I microwaved half of it for 20 seconds. If you eat the protein bar straight from the package is is soft and chewy. There are large chocolate chunks throughout which add a nice sweetness and chocolate bar feel. There are also little cookies pieces throughout which add a chocolate taste and also a nice crunch to the bar. When you microwave this bar it becomes soft like a cookie dough. The chocolate chunks melt and add such a nice sweetness. The microwaved bar tasted like chocolate chip cookie dough and was soft to eat. I loved this bar both warmed and straight from the package. This bar is full of nutrition: it has 20% of your daily calcium and 52% of your daily fibre. -

There are a good amount of vitamins and minerals in each bar; 10 g protein (40%); 15% calcium and 10% iron. When you first open the package, the bar smells like canned dog food which is not pleasant. The coating on the outside of the bar tastes like a mix between a thick Greek vanilla yogurt and a white chocolate. It has a nice sweetness to it. The bar does not have a protein powder flavor and it has a strong taste of natural, not artificial, vanilla. The bar itself is soft, thick, dense and chewy. When you eat the bar you get the nice sweetness and smooth texture from the yogurt coating on the outside and then that dense and chewy vanilla taste from the protein portion on the inside. -

The peanut butter flavor is not overly strong but it is noticeable. The chocolate coating is thick and has a nice chocolate flavor which adds a richness to the bar. The chocolate coating has the flavor of a chocolate milkshake and it is smooth and creamy. The filling is more sweet than the chocolate itself, but the overall bar is not too sweet. The inside protein filling is dense, chewy and soft. It is the consistency of the peanut butter in a Reese PB cup because of its thickness and how dense it is. The overall bar, has a mild vanilla flavor that becomes more prominent as you eat the bar. The vanilla flavor is more natural and not artificial tasting. There is a semi-strong nut flavor in this bar, almost like there is some peanut powder within. The chocolate protein blend on the inside isn’t sweet at all, it has a more cocoa taste. Inside is like dense chocolate- almost brownie consistency. There are rice crisps throughout the inside which add a nice crunch and a mild vanilla flavor. The thick chocolate coating on the outside of the bar brings sweetness. The chocolate coating tastes like Nesquik chocolate milk or a chocolate shake. This bar is very chocolate but not overly sweet. If you are craving chocolate, you will be super satisfied with this meal replacement bar. This tastes like a brownie and the texture contributes to this because it is dense and chewy. This bar tastes delicious with a glass of milk. The bar soaks up the milk and you get a nice creamy taste. I am addicted to this bar!! -

The bar is 190 calories and there is 20% of your recommended calcium in each bar. There is a pleasant berry taste to the bar and it is the perfect sweetness. There are raspberry seeds throughout which gives a natural raspberry taste and texture. Th raspberry flavor is not overpowering but it is strong enough that you get that delicious fruit flavor. If you microwave the bar for for 30 seconds, you get a baked cookie texture. If you eat the bar straight from the wrapper, the texture is much more chewy. The white chocolate pieces on top of bar add sweetness-- they are only on top, not throughout bar-- and how many varies significantly from one bar to the next.
Eating Method: This bar tastes good heated or not heated, there is no preference. The texture of the bar differs significantly between the two methods.
