when i first started using this product, i was breaking out badly. i had whiteheads on my cheeks, and little bumps all along my chin which later turned into whiteheads, and it was just basically a horrible time in my life.
however, within a week of using this product every day and night, my face started clearing up! i was amazed!
the scrub itself is really nice. when you squeeze it out into your hand, it has a creme like consistency, but when you start scrubbing your face with it, it foams up and you feel the tiny grains. in the end youre left with very soft skin.
in comarison to the st.ives face scrub, this one feels much gentler. it is definately less irritating, which makes it possible to scrube the face for a longer period of time and use this scrub twice a day, which i think took off more dead skin cells and other impurities off my face ad led to fewer breakouts.

this is hands-down my absolute favorite mascara. covergirl's volumeexact used to be my HG mascara, until i tried the lashlast luxe. knowing lashblast has the same formula and wand as luxe, i decided to give it a try.
lashblast in comparison to volumexact: lashblast provides me with more volume but less length compared to volumexact. but i suprisingly liked lashblast more. it gives me a more natural look in comparison to volumexact. how i would describe my eyes after appyling lashblast is they remind me of doe-eyes. it makes me want to look at my eyes all day! one coat is perfect for a natural-looking set of voluminous lashes, and it can definately be layered on for more dramatic eyes.
another thing i like about lashblast and covergirl mascaras in general is how amazingly long-lasting it is!! i don't wear the waterproof mascaras, but even after sleeping and crying and even rain, there is no smudging, no clumping, no flaking. The best part is that even though it is long-lasting, it comes off easily in the shower.
the only con i can think of about this mascara is the wand. the handle is thicker than usual, but that just takes some getting used too, after a while, after seeing how amazing your lashes look, you won't even think about the wand!

This biggest issue i had with this product is finding the right shade, even the sales clerk had a hard time finding my match!! There aren't very many to choose from :( As a result, it makes my face look a bit whiter than usual. Contouring, bronzer, and blush are a must with this product!!! When this product is first applied, it can look a bit powdery on the face, but it might be due to the brush i used (which is not the chisel brush reccomended) however, the powderyness goes away after a few hours. Other than that, i love that this is a PRESSED mineral makeup, leading to less messes when applying makeup. It's also a lot easier to apply. However it does become mineral makeup-ey when you swirl your brush in it, but that's expected. It also provides great coverage after a few applications. -

I find myself pulling my lashes in the shower for quite a long time until I'm sure I've removed all of it, and in the end I STILL havn't removed all of the mascara, and my eyes are red and stinging from all the water X_X I'd rather buy a drugstore mascara. -

although this mascara gave my lashes some volume, it did not give as much volume or length as my trusty covergirl volume exact. i'm not sure if its because i have a sample tube of this, but i wasnt sure if there was even any mascara along the entire length of the wand. all the mascara seemed to just clump at the tip of the wand, causing some clumping when applied to my lashes. -
