If you are looking for a cheap yet effective way to add bold chunks of colour to your hair, this is it! These extensions are 100% human hair, in a 2.5cm/1" clip--2 in a package. The hair itself is 14", but can, of course, be cut to length.
I have the hot pink and royal blue colours, and I dyed the ends of one of my pinks with the last bit of my manic panic dye, which turned out really nicely. The extensions are really easy to blend into my hair, which is mostly straight (tiny bit of wave). Also, if you braid the extensions, the texture will hold like normal hair. I also tried a [cheap!] synthetic hair extension and it was perfectly straight and wouldn't hold any extra texture--no good! These are way better.
The only issue I have with these are the clips. They could be more secure, but they aren't about to fall out. I think it's because of the style of the prongs.

First of all, I love this brand as a whole. From the way the shape of the bottle fits in my hand, to the application of the formula (and even the punny names), this is something I keep going back to. Their base range of colours could probably stand to be bigger (some of those reds look so alike!), but they often release new collections so it's not that much of a problem.
'Tapestry in Taupe' is a colour that caught my eye everytime I went to the Sally store, but I was never sure about it. I only picked it up fairly recently--I regret not doing so sooner. It is a gorgeous warm-neutral that looks great on my olive skintone, and my mom's pinker skintone. I expect it would look great on everyone.

This first caught my attention because of the metallic appearance of the colours (I have 'Wild Orchids'). I was looking for something with a bit more colour payoff than the Revlon 12h quads. I guess I missed the fact that it was *creme* eyeshadow, because I found it difficult to apply.
Maybe I'm doing it wrong, but I've been using my fingers to apply it, and I find misplacements rather difficult to correct. Also, I found I was using more to cover than I expected. Still, if I apply it correctly, I get a lot of compliments on it. Not sure if I would buy again.

I own three of these quads, and I'm quite happy with them. The colour payoff isn't quite as intense as I thought, but sometimes I' going for a more subtle effect anyway. Out of the three I own, 'Sunrise, Sunset' has the least payoff for the packaging, 'Blushed Wines' has the most (because it's a neutral?), and 'Lavender Meadow' is somewhere in the middle.
All that said, they *are* easy to apply, and I appreciate that the packaging comes with suggestions on how to use it. And I like that the container is compact with a secure close, so it's safe for purses.

I can't really comment on the price, because I received it as a gift, but I do know that it is worth getting again.
