I went to Rouge nail bar on Cresent street for a mani/pedi yesterday. It was my first time and will be my last time.
I like that the salon is clean (tools) and zen compared to some Asian owned nail salons. However, I had a very bad service. I was late 15 mins due to finding a parking. The technician kept reminding me that I was late and that she did not have time to do my pink-french-mani. I was sorry and agree to do the clear-french mani, since according to her, takes less time. The rest of my time there, she made sure that I know I was late. She was rushing through my mani. I felt guitly the whole time I was there. I know I was late but complaining about the fact would not make her job any faster and it is not a good customer service. Instead of advising me to come back another day for trying her best, she continued to complain. At the end my french manincure turned out uneven, and my toes still have polish traces around the edge. For the price they charge, this is un-acceptable.
The mani-pedi was a birthday gift to me. Instead of feeling relaxed and happy, I left the salon feeling uncomfortable.
I have no interest of coming back nor recommend the salon to any of my friends.
