I was excited to be selected to try this flavour of PurGrains as my family likes a little spice in our life! I had a bit of a hard time figuring out how to serve the dish - do I serve it like rice? Do I put it on top of something? Should I put something on top of it? Then I had the idea to make lettuce wraps with the Pur Grains! I had some Boston Lettuce leaves and I made up a dipping sauce with plain greek yogurt, a bit of mayo, salt/pepper and some dill weed I had in the fridge to add some colour. My family gobbled them up before I even had a chance to take a picture! I do want to point out that you really need to listen to the instructions on the bag for the amount of water to use. Even if you think you need a bit more water - don't! It will change the texture and feel of the dish. Overall a nice change from our normal rice side dishes that we use. Would I serve it again? Sure! Did my family enjoy? You bet! -

My son was very excited to see a new Batman toy as he and his dad were quick to rip open the packaging (two generations of Batman fans in this house). The package was very easy to open and the items inside were not tied up in multiple pieces of wires, etc. so it was easy to pop things out of the plastic. The first thing my son wanted to play with was the Batcycle. It is a very cool looking bike. The second thing he wanted to play with was the two little bat pieces which I figure are supposed to be ninja stars? He had fun chucking them at his mama. I think these pieces are already lost under the couch to be honest. Then he sat Batman on the Batcycle. He looked at me and asked "What are these clips on Batman's cape, mama?" and I told him I had no idea. I didn't really read the box so perhaps that was a mistake on my part. We just clipped the cape to his arms and legs and I told my son this was so Batman's cape did not get stuck in the Batcycle's wheels. The cool wheels that look they have mud splatters all over them! I guess Batman likes to offroad with this particular vehicle. All in all, a very cool looking Batman. The action figure has really moveable wrists - I had trouble slipping his fists over the Cycle handles because the wrist were moving around so much but hey it's definitely more life-like than other toys Ollie has of Batman. My son has just started to watch Bluey on Disney Plus so we were super excited to find out that we were chosen to review a Bluey puzzle set! 4 puzzles come packaged in a wooden box and the way it displayed the Bluey and family puzzle pieces made for an attractive package - my son was excited to get into the package to play with the dog pieces. There are two sets of Bluey and his family - one normal puzzle set and one where the pups are dancing! My son liked to incorporate both sets into his playing when we put the puzzles together.. why just play with one Bluey when you can play with two?
My only issue is that the puzzle pieces are pretty thin. Bluey and family are made of a thicker block while the pieces to the puzzles are the normal cardboard style pieces. Sure, 3 year olds can play with the puzzle pieces but I will mention that pieces tend to get bent when little hands are tearing up the puzzles! That or I need to tell my son to be a bit more gentle! All in all a very attractive set but my 3 year old will end up playing with the dogs by themselves more than he will play with them on top of the puzzle scenes! Happy to be chosen to review a2 2%milk as this house goes through a lot of milk! My first thought when I tasted it was that it was good but tasted a bit different than the regular milk we purchase. Good mouth feel and easily digested. My 3 year old son didn't notice a difference when given his bedtime milk. I enjoyed it in my cereal and in my coffee. These wipes came in handy after work today - my greasy, sweaty face felt refreshed after wiping it down with one of these micellar wipes. I can confirm it does a great job of making my face feel clean after a sweaty day at work. Best part is that this wipe removed all the makeup from my face and did not leave my skin feeling tight, it was actually quite gentle on the skin. -

I definitely enjoy the feel of a clean face and this product definitely does not dissapoint. This product has a mild, natural scent and lathers up well. A little bit goes a long way - just a couple of pumps will do. This product will dry out your face (Kaolin clay does absorb that oil!) but your favourite Neutrogena moisturizer afterwards will fix this.
Tip: If you let this product sit on your face for a couple of minutes it works great as a mask, too!

I used to be in love with a pearl exfoliant that I used to buy from a random store in the mall (this store is long gone) and then I was introduced to this at an Aloette party. This fruit-based enzyme is so much more gentle!
It is super expensive and I recommend getting it when it it is a super sale item (for like 20 bucks)
Now that it's in a tube (vs. jar) I don't use as much.
Apply it and wait a bit (brush your teeth, that's what I do) until it feels watery to the touch, gently rub and experience the dead skin roll off your face.
It's so GRATIFYING lol

I really like this mascara. The wand is easy to apply and the result is a nice application. The best application for this? I like to coat my lashes in a different mascara and then use this for the finishing touch. These wipes are used all over my house, to wipe dirty bums, runny noses, markers from hands and even to wipe spilled drinks (yes I will admit to using baby wipes).
The only thing with these wipes is that it's not easy to grab a single wipe when you are halfway through the pack and you end up grabbing whatever comes out because you're in a hurry (amIright?) and you end up using too many/wasting.
