i have tried many products in this category from different manufacturers and honestly i can't tell them apart.
i received this product free to try from Chickadvisor. i generally do not use this type of product in the summer, opting to wash my face as i wear sunscreen even when i do not wear make up. i do sometimes use it in the winter to keep my skin hydrated and when i wear a lighter sunscreen formula.
over all it worked as expected but i have another bottle of this in my cupboard and it seems to do the same thing. i guess you just go with the company you trust.

I received this free from Chickadvisor but was away and finally got to use it when i returned. i had missed putting sunscreen on my knees and applied the lotion to the sunburned area. it seemed to work well as i have not peeled!
i also tried this on my face, but i would need more a more hydrating lotion on a regular basis for my face. i also tried it on my over-washed hands and it seemed to help.
then i happened to see the price at the drug store and i'm not certain i would ever pay $18 for the tub.

Add your own milk - i used cow's - set in fridge overnight and consume in the morning. initially the taste is OK and the coconut doesn't taste too fake but with each bite the amount of sugar is spine tingling. Also the texture, close to that of instant oatmeal is far less appealing when cold. Overall not convinced.
also, the container will not be portable as the lid does not close tightly so this is not something you can pop in your purse and enjoy later.

recently the choices of daily moisturizers with a high SPF have dwindled. i don't love using a "face spf" product (found in the sunscreen area) on a daily basis because i find it doesn't have the benefits of a moisturizer and sometimes causes breakouts. this product hits most of my needs. it's lightweight but not thin, does a bit of work on my skin and it not sticky. it's enough coverage for the bit of walking i do to and from work but if i was out all day it would not be enough. -

received a sample via chickadvisor and tried it with and without make up, over my moisturizer as i usually wear primer. i found the formula a bit more active than i'm used to so it turned my face a bit flush. it also never quite settled, i found it felt as if it was on my face all day and was a bit itchy, and it was worse without make up. doesn't seem to be suited for my skin. -

ever since Smarshbox stopped having their tinted moisturizer in canada i've been looking for something light in texture but not too heavy in coverage and this finally seems to fit the bill. very lightweight in texture and coverage. a tiny bit of glow to it. but the tube with a pump is useless. the plastic cover, meant to keep the bottle up right and the end the product comes out of free to debris, cracked and broke very quickly and the pump stopped putting out product about half way through the tube. i've been unscrewing it and tapping a bit out each day for about 2 months now. a simple tube with screw cap would be a much better idea. the pump isn't really needed. -

also because i'm clumsy i managed to knock if off the shelf and two of the colours came out. i managed to pick them up very gently with tweezers and set them back into the palette but the little cakes of shadow are very fragile. if anyone tried to keep this in their purse or a make up bag they'd be very upset quickly.

There is nothing particularly spectacular about this dish. It's easy - doesn't need any added ingredients - just water. but i'd really rather have boxed Mac and Cheese. I'm generally not a huge fan of cream sauces, and there's a few scant pieces of dehydrated spinach so i put some steamed broccoli on the plate to get some veg in. I found you had to cook it a bit longer than suggested to reduce the sauce but over all the cooking instructions were clear.
I received this free from Chickadvisor for a review.

not certain i would try it again.

I received this item free from ChickAdvisor to assess. This required chicken, carrots, cauliflower and raisins to complete but when you read the directions you are also advised to lightly flour the chicken too. So basically you get a bag of barley with some spices. At this point you might as well cook from scratch.
The directions are fairly easy. i skipped flouring the chicken as i do not keep flour in my house. Sauted the chicken with some olive oil. added carrots, water and contents of the sachet and simmered. Added cauliflower and finished cooking. Although instructions suggest 10 more mins best to watch the pot at this point. i found at 8 minutes and 2 minutes off heat the dinner was ready.
overall the taste is ok. I skipped the raisins, again as i did not have any in the house, and found the spices a bit sweet so i would have found it too sweet. also i found the recipe overly salty. directions call for added salt with chicken but do not do this as it will be way too salty if you are used to a low salt diet. I like barley. i do try to eat it more and this was a nice change but honestly a spice mix was all that was really needed. not certain i would buy.
