I just tried this last night, so I haven't given it a day's worth of wear, but for $2.99 you certainly can't complain about the price. With the initial test I found the product easy to work with, I even tried a little wing, which I don't usually do and found it quite easy to accomplish because the tip was long and the the fluid quite wet but quick drying. I continue to find really decent products among the Essence line. Not all of it is a winner, but quite a bit is worth it. -

I only bought this because it was available in blue and purple and I've been wanting a coloured mascara and striking out a lot. Unfortunately this one also doesn't really show up. It's disappointing because I remember as a teen having bright blue mascara and loving it, but this is so subtle you can't see it at all. I guess I'll have to try the old trick of painting lashes with bright liquid liner to get some sort of colour effect. -

I haven't really purchased lipstick in years, other than a few that have been part of a gift bag or that came in a kit, but I liked the idea of a matte lipstick and the only gloss/balm I found was Revlon and I don't love the mint flavour of those products. I generally also do not go for a long lasting lip product as I don't have issues with lip product fading. I went to the drug store looking for an Essence version but they didn't have a colour I liked and the cosmetics person found this line. The colour I chose, 106 was bright, pigmented and went on very smoothly. I don't know if it lasted, I took it off to eat, but I really liked the bright matte colour. And at $6.49 on sale it was a great deal. -
I ended up purchasing this as I was looking for a duplicate to a Quo colour I had in a kit and was not part of their regular collection. it was a fairly light dusty pink/gold tone and it goes on nicely and stays. It's a new favourite.

I received this in an Ipsy bag and the colour is very on trend, a bright but soft pink and it goes on well and stays well, but it seems to get all over the place. I've never had this kind of issue with other blushes. I'm not certain of the price... +

I've never had this kind of issue with other blushes. I'm not certain of the price, but the fact that most of it seems to be in my sink while applying is a bit of a turn off. Considering it's not readily available in Canada, I won't seek it out specifically once it's used up. -

I picked this up yesterday and tried it without tinted moisturizer (this is what I use in place of foundation) just over primer and I have to admit it seemed to just soften up my skin without a lot of product or work. I've used other loose powders and I like to use powder to set make up. I have to admit that the Cover F/X powder I've been using that costs over $30 might be off my list in the future. ELF just continues to be amazing. We just need to work on them getting a better supplier in Toronto -

I got this in an Ipsy bag and loved the colours, but found that the darker colour didn't blend well and the light colour was barely there, and I'm quite pale so usually those iridescent lights look OK on me. I also found, even with UD eyelid primer it creased quickly, which I usually don't have issue with when using a primer, with both bargain brands (Essence) and high end brands. Not certain the price, but so far I'm underwhelmed by the so-called mineral cosmetics. -

I'm still working my way through the colours but the few that I have tried were a bit different in their intensity. I haven't really purchased a Maybelline product in years, and was pleasantly surprised that the 'old lady' smell they used to have seems to be gone. The palette looks pretty, but I'm wondering if I'd purchase again from this line as I think I prefer the Quo products which are only a couple of dollars more than this. This was about $18 at Shoppers and recently I purchased a Quo palette for $19. -

i do not have air conditioning and I have a large south facing window so it gets hot in my apartment. While I can usually cool the apartment off during the evening hours, I like the air to flow. I wasn't particularly in the market for a tower fan but I liked the idea that this took up a little less space than I traditional fan and wouldn't require a box or table to prop it up on. Overall, it's a fan, it moves the air and for the most part acts as expected. My only beef with it is because it's "digital" you have to reset the settings each time you turn it on, unlike other fans where you set the oscillation by pushing in a knob. Which is why it had a remote, but it's sort of ridiculous to have to have a remote for fan. -
