Expecting a lotion to undo a lifetime of stretch marks due to growth spurts and weight gain might be a bit silly but I've been trying to find a skin firming lotion and I figured I'd give it a try when this was on sale one day. I'm not certain it makes one bit of difference on the stretch marks themselves, mine are mostly white, not pink/red, but it does feel as if the skin is a bit firmer in the areas where I've put it, but that might just be wishful thinking. Smell is a bit overwhelming, but I'm not a huge fan of scents to begin with as they can cause me to sneeze or worse burn my nose (I can't go anywhere near a soap store or candle section). -

This was in an Ipsy bag so I'm not certain of the price. It's an interesting packaging concept, a nail varnish like bottle with a foam applicator at the end of a stick rather than the usual loose powder concept, except it doesn't really work. The applicator doesn't really allow you to blend well and transferring to a brush isn't easy. I'm not a huge fan of loose mineral shadow to begin with, so I personally found the product more difficult to handle than a typical pressed shadow. Unless you're really into this particular type of product I'd say don't bother. -

I was really after a bright fuscia/purple when I saw this at Joe Fresh and figured for $8, why not. This is very pigmented but feels like a gloss, which I prefer over traditional lipstick. It's sold as a long lasting lip product, which I generally avoid because I don't love the texture of these products. After about an hour it seems to be wearing well, still comes off on a tissue and doesn't seem to be feathering. -
i bought a great bright pink with iridescent shimmer when this first came out and i don't think they offer that particular colour any more, which is a shame. i used every last bit of that particular colour.

This came in an Ipsy bag and sadly the colour they offered wasn't great, a skin coloured brown/beige, and although it's considered a balm, I would consider it a gloss/stick type product. but it does come in a chapstick like tube, so in the summer when looking for a sheer hint of colour it might be useful. not certain if it is offered in Canada. -

i usually wait until christmas when smashbox does a box and then the prices are a little better, and if you have points sometimes really good. the only drawback is that they do almost the same colours year over year and sometimes you can't find the colour in the regular line if you like it. however there's a very lovely pink that looks very bright in the tube, but is very sheer on that i love. fortunately it's always in the box so i'm using up the last of the first box and have a replacement to carry on using. -

I do love the Quo collections, and I have quite a few, including this one. I didn't love the really little gloss, but it's still in the bottom of my purse. I love the blush, and have tried in earnest to replicate it even though I have a lot left. The colour set i have is very shimmery, so I find i can only use it for parties, but there's a lovely pink, champagne and khaki. the blue i've not found too much use for as it's not dark enough to use as a liner. -

I got this on sale after christmas for about $17 with taxes, approximately half its retail price of $38. a range of colours, but only shadows and blushes. There were other options in the collection, but i'm never a fan of carrying around a kit for the lip product, risking breaking the shadows in my purse, so I went with the shadows only. The outer box was great, a drawing of a flapper (I couldn't easily find a pic to upload) and the packaging inside was quite nice, a 3 fold, ipad-cover-looking black patent quilted pattern. the colours are a bit hit and miss. everything looks like it has shimmer but the few colours i've tried go on a bit more matte. toss the cheap brushes that come with the set and use your own. -

While waiting one day I was 'demonstrated' this product, and it's one of those times when I never know what to do, and ended up buying it, but was a little shocked at the price. I'm down to the last little bit and i do like the colour, a soft red and the results, i think i'd prefer to get the clear version and use it overnight and then use my own colour. which makes almost no sense when you realize that the clear treatment is even more than the coloured stuff, but then you're not limited to one colour.
the plumping works well. it's subtle, but you can see the difference. it doesn't burn or tingle as much as other plumpers i've used. provided i can cash in points and not have to fork over actual money i'd probably continue to have this on hand.
