i found these a little underwhelming. The brown was muddy and the pink not terribly intense. I'll finish up what i have, but it says something that i've never bought more.

Certainly can't complain about the price. The colours won't last all day, even with primer, and not the stuff that comes in the palette. But the colours are pretty, and the kit I bought was meant for brown eyes.

I generally won't pay close to $25 for a shadow, but I do love Kitten Heel and purchased it with points, to soften the blow. In this case I was paying for the particular colour, a pinky/corally gold colour. I don't think it's particular any better... +

I also got this in the sale bin, I don't think it was one of their better series, but they also put out a lot of sets that year, and one had to make way for the next. The greens set from the same release was much better. A couple of the colours... +

The greens set from the same release was much better. A couple of the colours are good, but the rest are pretty light and can't really be determined as distinct colours. -
Another Ipsy find. Not certain I would purchase just because it's mineral based, but a good quality shadow with high intense colours, and after seeing on their website that they have 'stacks' of fun bold colours, I might consider at a later date.

Love these. Bought the pink/gold colour and went back for the brown.

Another Ipsy bag find. Great intense colours, especially if you're a redhead (hello!). Decent pigment. Seems to last well. And unlike many quads or palettes I've had over the years, I seem to use all the colours in the kit (Bora Bora set).

Got this in my November Ipsy bag, a brand I don't believe is available in Canada. It's advertised as an eyeshadow base, but it's coloured. This colour, Submissive is a darker gold colour. It seems to intensify the colour of any powder shadow, particularly when using a similar colour and adds a bit of glimmer too. But as an eyeshadow base it does not seem to stop creasing at all, and when mixed with UD lid primer I found by the end of an evening out that all my shadow had creased and the darker colours had worn off. Which does not usually happen when I wear the UD lid primer only. I'm not certain I'd say yes this is a must, perhaps if you do not have oily eyelids it would be more successful. -

I'm one of those people that if there's a way for something to break open or leak in my purse, it will. I received 2 of these as a present and now I can lug coffee around without spills, and keep it warm, a blessing when dealing with public transit, mittens, a purse and trying to get our your metropass or keys. I've even dropped one and had a piece of the lid come off and it's still leak proof. My only disappointment is that the paint came off of one over the years. -
