I really only 'suffer' from dark circles, no puffiness, a few small wrinkles, but as the week progresses the circles deepen and I look tired. Maybe not a chronic as some, but enough that it bothers me. I've tried a lot of eye creams and found that they really make no difference than just using your face cream. I was about to throw in the towel and just buy the most inexpensive stuff I could find and then I got this in a Christmas box of items and just love it. The price does seem high at $40 but it's a large bottle, so it does last quite some time. -
i eat chocolate everyday, and generally stick to plain, dark or chocolate with nuts, and mostly Cadbury, but this flavour is one of the few that i really enjoy.

Simons has stores within Quebec and may enter the Ontario market soon, there are always rumours. I shop via their online service, which as I understand it, offers less than their instore selection but is still has good options. They do carry high end designer fashion, which I do not purchase, but also a wide range of lower cost house brands. Twik is one I am very fond of, low cost knits, for the most part. Recently Simons upped their minimum order for free shipping to $100 from $50 but they do offer flat rate shipping for $5 under $100. They do use Canada Post and appear to pack orders two days a week only so orders are not necessarily expedited. They offer hassle free no questions asked returns. Any time i've ever dealt with the customer service dept, either via the phone or their online chat they have been nothing but kind, efficient and resolved issues easily. They're prompt with information about stock, even refunding my money when a package was clearly taken during the delivery process and didn't end up at my location.
If or when they do come to Ontario I will be a frequent shopper.

The Shopper's I frequent (at Danforth/Coxwell) was of the first to get the initial beauty make over, the version before the beauty boutique and now is one of the 6 to get a loblaws conversion, in large part because we live in a food desert area. Open until midnight it's a convenience that i rely on a lot. The prices are higher, so you do need to shop carefully, getting prescriptions filled is expensive, about $13 for the service, but if you use points promotions well you can rack up points quickly and redeem them during events. I also find the staff at this store, in particular in the cosmetics area great. I like that they offer both mid range and general cosmetics, and that I can get my milk at the same time. -
Unfortunately the price is the key factor into why I won't recommend this product. I've received a few samples via Ipsy but at $55US there's just no way I'd consider it. I also find it tends to make my skin tingle a bit more than my regular daily... +

I eat a lot of pasta and generally have a few jars of sauce along with tinned tomatoes at any given time. I saw this brand at Metro and figured I'd give it a try as it was a little less expensive than the glass jarred versions I usually buy (Classico or President's Choice) but unfortunately it has a peculiar after taste and leaves an odd orange tinge on dishes and lips that the other brands don't. -

I bought this after wanting to switch from microwave popcorn and after trying a hot air popper and not liking the result. I managed to get this via points, but in the end it wasn't worth the money. At first it make very good popcorn, and seemed ok, but in less than a year, parts starting coming off, or snapping, the bowl, with it's scalloped sides made it very hard to clean by hand (no dishwasher here) and then one day it just didn't work, the hot plate had stopped working. Then I did some research and found that this was a very common experience. Save your money, there are better options on the market. My new favourite is WestBend Stir Crazy. -

i eat a lot of popcorn. for years i ate microwave popcorn because it was easy, and then suddenly the 'natural' variety had a lot of salt and fake butter flavour. add to that the information about the bags themselves and I started looking for alternatives. Someone gave me a hot air popper but it was loud, hot, shot scalding kernels around the kitchen and made very dry popcorn. Then i discovered popcorn makers, which are basically a hot plate with a dome on them. I tried a more expensive name brand that lasted less than a year. Then I found the Stir Crazy. It got great reviews and after a year it's going strong.
It doesn't have an on/off button, but then again, perhaps that would just break. Which means you have to watch the machine in order to unplug it, however it takes about 3 minutes to pop about a 1/3 of a cup of kernels, so it's not that huge of an inconvenience. I find wiping the plate off with a damp cloth after it cools is the best way to clean it, but once in awhile it's a good idea to take a paper towel along the edge because the metal plate doesn't quite go the edge and a bit of oil end up in the crevice. The instructions say you can put the base on the dome and use it as a bowl, but I tend to transfer it to another bowl as i can never finish all that i make and this way a i can clean that bowl and put the unit away as i have very little counter space.
People tell me to try different oils to enhance the popcorn flavour but I've stuck to safflower and it works just fine. Then you get to try flavoured toppings or good old salt and butter..

Part of the TJ Maxx, Winners' brand, this chain offers a variety of general house wares. I tend to go for the occasional kitchen tool, linens', storage boxes, and often Christmas gifts. In Toronto there are a few stores dedicated particular sized stores so that the items are scaled to those sizes. I particularly like the 600 sq ft store on Spadina although I generally go to the 800 sq ft one on Yonge because it's easier to get to for me. Stock varies, but there's always something interesting. Occasionally some items are even on offer for better prices. -

I haven't been back to Target much, in part because the locations are not well placed. Even though there is one about a 10 minute drive from my home, it takes about 30 minutes on the bus before a 5 minute walk across the parking lot. Granted, I went early after the launch, but wasn't so impressed that I've rushed back. I found the selection very similar to the former Zellers. The make up was very picked over, I didn't see anything in the clothing or accessories that was stunning and the house ware items were not as nice as they are at Home Sense, although they were about the same price. My biggest dissappointment is that almost 2 years after the launch there is still no online shopping. If I was sure that they might have what I wanted I might make a trip. -
