I have received this in a few bonus parcels and as a face cleanser goes it works just fine. I tend to use these types of products when I don't wear make up because I find it too hard to take off mascara without water and scrubbing. I have no idea how much this costs but the small bottle they give you with bonus parcels is quite generous. -

I purchased this for a Halloween costume because it was inexpensive and discovered it was pretty good. At the end of the night, my overdone liner was still in place and ended up purchasing more colours. The only drawback is that it's hard to get a fine line because the stick is somewhat fat. Not like a chubby stick but not tapered like a wooded pencil. -

As inexpensive nail polish goes you can't really beat Essence. At $2 a bottle you can purchase trendy colours and even if you use them only for a season you won't feel so bad about limited use. They come in smaller bottles too. I rarely use an entire bottle mostly because I only do my toes in the summer, but I love getting a chance to have this year's trendy options. -

I won't purchase this at full price because it costs more than I want to pay but if it's on sale I will pick it up. In particular when they offer the boxes with many fun colours in the mini bottles. I will admit the colours are great and the polish goes on well, but I just have difficultly paying about $10 for nail polish which is why I wait for sales when the little bottles often work out to about $2 per bottle, in line with Essence and their little bottles. -

A really great alternative to hose, tights or shapewear if you have an issue with your thighs rubbing together. These 'Bandelettes' look like the top of stockings, but are larger in width and designed to stop your thighs from rubbing together. They do offer lace as well as solid ones, and my personal experience has been that in the summer when you are prone to sweating the lace ones can still cause chafing but the solid ones do not. As opposed to a short type garment you wear these with your own underwear and they give you the airy comfort of a skirt in the hot months. I didn't wear skirts for years in the summer because by the time I put on shorts or something to stop the chafing, I was hot. And this summer I bought several dresses just because I have found these.
At first you won't find these logical. And depending on your physique it can take a bit of work to make them sit properly. Because I have a large bottom and need to Bandelettes to sit high I find getting them into place take some fussing and I have to sit before I can get them in the right place, but generally after that I don't have to do any adjustments.
Additionally the staff at Bandelettes has been extremely helpful, prompt and in one case went above and beyond. The only issue for Canadians is that you need to order a few pairs to make the shipping fees worthwhile.

It is not a stretch to say the my adolescence would have been way better if this was available instead of that horrible 80's clearasil junk.
For those who get cystic acne this might be the only thing that shortens a pimple's time on your face. And even better it does not leave a little patch of dry skin like so many of these products do.

In the past I would never consider purchasing any other brand of cotton swab, which, let's face it, meant buying a generic brand. I happily paid premium prices for a quality product. Except that the last two boxes I have purchased have been well below quality standards, often with several swabs missing cotton completely. I switched to the Shoppers' Life Brand and in the first box have not yet found one swab will a missing end. -
