Although the price tag is higher than I'd like, I'm impressed with the product. I find you still need another product on top of it if your hair flattens easily but it acts as a good base for fine hair and doesn't get greasy by the end of the day... +

The do also sell a refill so you're not tossing out the plastic foaming apparatus each time you use up a bottle. -

I had almost given up on shampoo, i'd find one and then it would be either discontinued or not carried by the retailers i visit. i'd tried drugstore brands, popular brands, salon brands and that careful balance of something that didn't weigh down my fine (as in texture not looks) or make my scalp greasy was very tough to find. It was a cosmetics girl who looked me in the eye and said 'forget this stuff, go to winners and buy rusk'. So I did and never looked back. It's $13 but for a 1 L sized bottle. It lasts forever, and best of all, it cleans, doesn't strip my colour abnormally or make my hair greasy. I'll be crushed if they ever stop carrying it at Winner/Homesense/Marshalls. -

I personally use this ointment for treating the dreaded cold sore. After trying a lot of things, I find when applied when I feel that first dreaded tingle. It's pretty smelly and not terribly pliable, but it works.

Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain
I like the half lipstick half lip gloss option interesting. Perhaps because I bought the colour Honey I do not see any 'stain' effect as it's so light. It's been a go to for the summer as it's just a bit darker than my own lip colour.

I was surprised how much I liked this product. I'm always on the look out for a good but not expensive lip gloss and some of the colours from this limited collection wear really well. I've purchased 3 and there's only 1 I find lacking.

Like many lip plumpers it creates a tingling sensation that goes on for about 20 minutes, but it doesn't taste bad and has some colour to it so I tend to use it as lip gloss more than a lip plumper. The colour, Yummy Plum is a sort of coral/neutral and the plumping action is subtle but there. -

I have itchy dry skin in the winter and most body lotions alleviate it assuming I use it daily. This lotion works as well as any other, such as a St. Ives or a Vaseline but has a bit of a plus with the skin firming part to help out with saggy bits... +

It's a bit more expensive, unless on offer, than St. Ives or Vaseline. Won't help with the very dry patches I get in the winter, but does stop the 'itchies'. -

But I was seeking a good tasting and good smelling product to replace a now discontinued favourite. -

As an Alan Cumming fan I was early on the library's wait list for this book and by the looks of it I got an early borrow, as it's pristine. The condition of the book aside, a bittersweet but cheeky (his word) telling of a family secret that gets told through our actor while he's the subject of show Who Do You Think You Are. Told in Cumming's acerbic voice it's a fast read and full of emotion. I've plowed through half of it in a day and will probably reread before returning to the library. -

Went north to cottage country for a week and discovered I had not packed my face wash. Went to the local drug store/apothecary and found this among the limited selection. Unfortunately from time to time I have issues with soap, be it face, body or laundry, and this was one of those times. Within 12 hours of use, my face was burning and it was unusable. No idea how it will work for others, I wasn't able to continue to use it. -
