Oh my goodness, I found my new favourite mascara ever! I have been thinking about getting lash extensions, like obsessively, but have been putting it off because of the price and how time consuming it is. I mentioned it to my beauty blogger bff, and she told me to try the Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara. So I did, and omg, this is the best mascara ever! One coat and your lashes look better than the fiber mascaras, and more natural (not all spider leggy). It lasts all day without smuging or flaking, and your lashes are super long and thick, so sexy! -

I really wanted to love this product, and it really does work great. The price is reasonable, and the quality is good... But the tiny little fibers kept getting in my eyes, all day. I tried the product every day for a week, and by the time I get home from work my eyes are all red and sore, my makeup is all ruined from my eyes watering all day from the fibers getting in my eyes. I tried sealing them in with other mascaras, and clear mascara, nothing helped :/ Maybe my eyes are just sensitive, idk. -

I absolutely love this product! It's not oily or greasy like some other facial moisturizers, it's quick absorbing, has a nice light scent and instantly makes your shin feel softer and less dry.
After a week I noticed my skin tone was much more even, and even my fine lines around my eyes were much less noticeable.
I wish I could have tested out the SPF quality, unfortunately it's the middle of February and bitterly cold, so I'm only outside long enough to get to the car and back :P
The retail price for a bottle is around $20, which I think is a very fair price.

OMG! Where has this product been all my life?! I had never heard about Micellar Cleansing Water until I applied for the ChickAdvisor campaign, and boy was I missing out.
So there are 2 ways you can use it, either as a makeup remover, or after you cleanse your face as a toner.
The first night I tried it as a makeup remover, put some on a cotton pad and wiped it on my face and it worked great. It cleaned off all of my foundation, liquid eyeliner etc with very minimal effort. But it didnt work so well on mascara (but I'm one of those people who put on 10 layers of mascara, so that didnt make it easy) I ended up holding it on each eye for about 15 seconds, and it took the mascara right off.
The next night, I used my regular eye makeup remover pads, and washed my face with my regular face wash, then dried my face. Then I put some Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water on a cotton pad, and OMG all this time I thought I had been going to bed with a clean, makup free face ... I was wrong, I wouldnt believe how much more makeup came off with the Micellar water, even after using the eye makeup remover, and face wash.
So I have now been using the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water, after washing my makeup off with face wash for the night, for about a week. And I honestly can't believe how much better my skin looks. I had no idea I was going to bed every night with such dirty skin.
I also compared the price to all of the other Micellar Cleansing Water products currently on the market, and Garnier is by far the best value. The rest are all nearly twice the price for half the amount of product. And based on all of the Micellar water videos I watched on Youtube, Garnier works just as good if not better than the "high end" brands!

You can taste the quality in Brookside chocolate, you can tell they didn't cheap out on the ingredients, honestly the best tasting chocolate I have every had.
The packaging is very nice, love the bright eye catching colours, even the foil the bars are wrapped in under the box they come in is really pretty/appealing to the eye colours.
Oh, and did you notice they are a Canadian company!

First of all I'd like to thank Chick Advisor for choosing me as one of the Brookside Dark Chocolate Tablet Bar reviewers! :D
So for this review, I decided to gathered my husband and 3 kids to join me at the dining table for a taste test. We each got one square from each of the 3 flavours we were sent (and I hid the rest in my purse, so I wouldn't have to share anymore :P )
We all really loved every one of the flavours, so it took us a while to decide on which one we liked best.
Here are the vote results:
3 votes for the Tart Cherry Crisp with Pomegranted (my 2 sons and I )
1 vote for the Mango Coconut Crisp (my daughter)
1 vote for the Blueberry Almond with Acai (my husband)
Additional observations:
You can taste the quality in Brookside chocolate, you can tell they didn't cheap out on the ingredients, honestly the best tasting chocolate I have every had.

First I'd like to thanks Chick Advisor for choosing me as one of the product reviewers for the Nutriance Grain Free SubZero Dog Food Campaign. The Selfie stick was an awesome surprise!
Now about the product.
My dogs are 1 & 3 yr old Chihuahua's (yes, they are very yappy ;) ) And they aren't very picky eaters (seriously, I had to put a baby gate up around the kitty litter box, so the cats can still get in to use it, but the dogs can't go looking for "snacks" in there... gross right?!). So I wasn't surprised that they loved Nutriance Grain Free SubZero dog food, but I started off mixing it with their regular stuff (the expensive $100+ for a 15kg bag kind of stuff), and they were picking through their food around their regular brand, and only eating the Nutriance. And when the Nutriance runs out, they wine for more food, instead of eating the regular brand stuff they have in their bowl.
Now for the surprising part... I have 2 cats, Lucy & Autumn (I know you all were dying to know their names... The dogs are Miss Daisy & Molly) Anyways, Lucy will eat anything, she loves people food and begs me for my food whenever I eat, but Autumn is the pickiest cat ever, she is like 10 yrs old now and since I have had her (when she was like 6 weeks old) she has only ever eaten this one brand of cat food... Well I keep catching her eating the Nutriance Grain Free SubZero dog food, out of the dogs food dish!
I know you all are probably like "yeah, that's great *sarsasm*" but seriously, this cat won't eat any meat or food scraps I try to give her. So it must taste great!
And it's grain free, full of protein, omega 3, fruits and veggies AND it's made right here in Canada!

I recently won a Samsung Gear S2 Classic smartwatch, along with a Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus Smartphone from Elle Magazine Canada. And this watch is amazing, seriously, I had no interest in ever buying a smartwatch, I mean I have laptops, tablets and smartphones, I didn't understand the need for one. But this this is amazing, you get email, text, facebook and twitter notifications on it, it has all the same features as the fitbits and then some. It has a heart monitor, and there are hundreds if not thousands of apps you can put on it.
I mean, the price is a little steep at $430.00 plus tax I totally wouldn't have bought it myself, though it is cheaper than the Apple Watch, and does all the same things if you are looking for a smart watch I would recommend the Samsung Gear S2 Classic. But keep in mind you will need a Samsung smartphone for all the features to work, just like if you get an Apple Watch, you will need an Apple iPhone 5 and up for it to work.

I have been a life long iPhone fan (ok, like since the first iPhone came out like 10 yrs ago), but recently won a brand new Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus from a contest hosted by Elle Canada Magazine, and let me tell you. It took a few days to get used to the Android OS, but this thing is amazing.
I love that it uses fingerprint technology to unlock the phone (you can use a password if you prefer), the screen is so big and clear and bright, it's much faster than my iPhone 6, and the camera & photos are so much better!
I would totally recommend the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus over any of the iPhones. (I never thought in a million yrs I would say that)
