I was given the DAP Alex Plus Caulk & Drydex Spackling Kit for free in exchange for my honest review. After using it on a small bathroom with blue walls, I'm excited to share my experience.
First, the kit includes everything you need for a comprehensive repair job. The caulk is easy to apply and has a smooth texture, which made sealing around the edges of my sink and tub a breeze. It dried quickly, allowing me to finish the job without waiting too long to see the results.
The Drydex Spackling is equally impressive. I used it to cover a small hole in the wall, and I was pleased with how easily it spread. The color matched well with my blue walls once it dried, and it left a smooth finish that required minimal sanding. The product also features a unique color-change indicator, which tells you when the spackling is dry—this is a fantastic feature for those who may not be familiar with spackling techniques.
