What I didn't know about women who entered convents in Italy is apparently a lot. What an amazing look at how these young women ended up here against their will. A somewhat spiritual but mostly love story about the power of perseverance.

This book left me speechless and incredibly enlightening. A monk's persecution that goes beyond what a human being should ever have to endure. I will never forget his story. One of the most important book I've ever had the pleasure of reading. Just...   +

I read this a long time ago and lost it- and finally I found it again after forgetting the title! A modern-ish day fairy tale romance story. I really enjoyed it. Somewhat surprised that a man wrote it. Very poetic and dreamy. I fell totally into...   +

An enjoyable read. My mum compares it to All Creatures Great and Small and found it wanting. Ok come on- that's a classic. I found the characters endearing and quite cute. Quite usual small tone story about a funny bunch of Irish characters.

A seriously disturbing read. I was left very disturbed and heavily reflective after each reading session of this novel. A very dark story. Interesting but catatonic look at depression, childhood and personal suffering.

Im a huge Bryson fan- and this novel doesn't disappoint with hilarious situations and remarks by the author. I just can't get enough of his style of writing- sarcastic, dry, witty as can be. Every book is a fun read that leaves me in bouts of...   +

Well, it's not the fastest read in the world, but it sure is packed with a highly detailed account of everything from stairs, fuse boxes, to kitchen equipment to the dining room. Seriously fascinating but you have to really stick to your guns to...   +

A very informative true story about wrongful convictions- a topic I am greatly interested in. You either love or hate John Grisham, but I found this true account very interesting and important to have knowledge about the topic. A stunning look at...   +
