My go to. Better grip than most, the string does help absorb some. Not exceptional absorbance. Wish they had more variety for regular pearl tampons, not compact, which I do not like.

Way, way to sparkly and not in a good way. Just intense and a pain to put on. Gets absolutely everywhere. It looked so promising, but the mark was missed on this one. Drives me crazy when a loose powder product goes everywhere when you open it... +

Drives me crazy when a loose powder product goes everywhere when you open it. There has to be a stopper so that it doesn't spill every darn time it's opened. Extremely hard to remove to boot. -

Great for the base of a smoky eye. Even on its own it's nice. Makes the inside corner of my eyes pop like crazy. Fantastic buy, I couldn't not have it in my makeup arsenal. -

Mediocre lip gloss. The colours are ok. I really love the applicator, it's too bad the gloss isn't better. Not a fan of the scent- it's cheap and sweet smelling. Gives good shine, but that's about it.

So average. Doesn't really do anything for my lashes. Why would you want to use the brush not fully extended? Seems like a gimmick to me. The formula is ok, not overly clumpy. I'm not a huge fan of silicone bristles. The container doesn't help... +

One of my favourites in my makeup bag. Jet back, perfect amount of sparkle- not cheap looking at all. Goes on best with an angled eye brush. Does the smoky eye better than anything. Great product.

Elizabeth Arden 4 shimmer powder
The colours mixed together us a nice combo. I find using just one is too pigmented. It's easy to only get out what you need, unlike many loose powders. The shimmer is lovely, but strong. You only have to use a little, so it lasts forever.

essence Ticket To Paradise Eye Shadow
In colour Tropical Heat. Great sturdy container. Gorgeous gold flecked creamy eyeshadow. Stays on really well and you can layer it easily to get a stronger effect. Very summery.
