Have often looked at the Lagostina bakeware but when I would see the price I would walk away. Couldn’t afford to do anything else but dream. About two weeks ago Canadian Tire had this bakeware marked down by 75% to $29.99. It was also time to buy my sister a birthday gift and since we live together, I bought it for her - kill two birds with one stone - the two of us can and are enjoying it. It is a beautiful set that will get lots of use. -

We love shopping at this store which offers everything you can think of in bulk. A few years ago, we had family come from the U.S. They told us that they wanted to shop everything Canadian. We took them to several places and then took them to The Bulk Barn. Did we pick a winner or what! They loved everything, especially the candy. Being diabetics, we don’t buy the candy but they do. Average bill for them is $85 mostly in candy. Their only complaint is that it is only a Canadian store. They come at least once a year now to get their fix. 😊 -
Bulk Barn Thompson Raisins
I love Thompson Raisins. Their dark colour adds so much to any recipe I’m using - baking, stews, soups, cereal, etc. The Thompson Raisins are often on sale at the Bulk Barn and I like to get them at that time.

I started to get grey hair when I was 18 years old. Spent $$$ going to the hairdresser getting my hair coloured “professionally”. Then I found the Garnier products, especially the Nutrisse Nourishing Colour Cream and I was sold on it. It covered my grey hair very easily. I love it. -

Tresemme Climate Control Hair Spray is our absolute favourite hair spray. We live in the centre of Canada and have lots of wind - year round, lots of sun - year round so need UV protection. We also have cold dry air in the winter so need static control. It’s a sad day when we can’t find the Climate Control hair spray because it’s sold out but at least we can switch to Tres Two and it will do the job until we can get our preferred. For about two weeks we had run out of Tresemme and had to use a brand X and we just about went crazy! Our hair felt dirty, sticky and the hair spray didn’t hold like Tresemme does. Last week we went shopping and found out that Tresemme was on sale so I picked up 2 cans - couldn’t find Climate Control but I found Tres Two so I was very happy! -

Swiss Chalet is the place to go if you like rotisserie chicken! We like the chicken leg (you can get a dinner with one or two legs - we have taken the dinner with two legs and then take one home for another meal). There is a Chalet dipping sauce which we like but often we take it home to add to one of our leftover meals - it just has such a nice flavour. It comes with choice of potatoes but for me there is only one choice - baked. And, of course there is a side of veggies. We love the meal, the location and ... the staff are usually great servers! -
