I held off using this after first receiving it from ChickAdvisor as I had a nasty rash from insect bites and sunburn at the same time, but turns out it is super gentle and I probably could have used it instead of the oatmeal wash I was using.
It lathers well and rinses off easily. Just the right amount of scent to leave you smelling great but not so offensive to others who don't want to smell it. It doesn't leave a greasy film on the skin either, considering it doesn't leave the skin dry either, it is a win for me

I already use Liquid Teint Idole foundation so had high hopes for the Ultra stick and thankfully knew which colour I wear in the Lancome range.
The stick applies smoothly and blends out well with a beauty blender. You probably could use your fingers or a brush but the sponge left it looking natural and spread it well without applying too much product. I have tried a few stick foundations and this applied easily in comparison to most. It is a smaller bullet than some of the others I have tried which changes where you put lines of it on your face. It has a fairly creamy consistency but doesn't bend on the bullet when applying.
It is probably more suited to normal to light-oily skin as it does stick to dry patches. The finish is very natural looking and held up well to a 12 hour day of wear including running to the store in the rain (set with powder and fixing spray). I have an oily t-zone and did need to blot and reapply a little after 6 hours yet it was not so matte that the rest of my face looked strange against the shine coming through.
At around the same price as the liquid, I feel the liquid would last longer but the stick is amazing for keeping on you for touchups. For using as a contour shade, I think it would be perfect though. It blends easily and the bullet is the perfect size for contouring.

MoYou is huge back home in England so I love that Trade Secrets not only brought the brand to Canada but also sells plates and starter kits in stores so I can easily pick up new plates while shopping and look at them before buying.
While they have a decent selection of single plates (not the whole collection, but bigger than the one they had when it first came to Canada) they also sell starter kits for around $30 that include a stamping plate, stamping polish and stamper along with instructions if needed.
They have some great stamping polishes, some of the best easily available in Canada (I am a big Mundo de Unas fan, but shipping from Mexico is slow and you never know if they will get through customs) and great if you just need to pick up a new colour in store (or free shipping if you order online)
The plates are well etched and have really unique designs, from comic book style characters, doodle, illusion, along with the usual flower and chevron plates everyone else makes.

Unlike many tea subscriptions, Tea Taxi gives you ten samples per month rather than small bags of 2-4 teas. I got the first ever subscription envelope in September and received six black teas, two green, a mate and a pu-erh - so definitely something for everyone.
While I (naturally) liked some of the teas more than others there were none that I disliked. It was great being able to try 10 new teas for a low cost before ordering them, but if you fall in love, you only have a single cup so will have to order a bag and wait for it to arrive.
Prices vary by subscription length and I wish they had a 1 month trial membership rather than a 3 month minimum but it is still a great value as the tea samples would cost more plus added shipping costs.

In general, I think you get what you pay for but Essence is one of the exceptions to this rule in many cases and this eye shadow base is no exception. I have used the I Love Stage base for ages and love it. My shadow sticks to it well but I hated the orangey colour on my really pale skin, especially in winter.
Essence's newest addition to the line is a paler, nude toned primer base to intensify colours by giving them a whiter base with the same primer quality as I Love Stage. It is now my go to product. I still use Smashbox eye primer under as I have a dry patch on my eye nothing sticks to except Smashbox but this helps the colour stick and helps the colour pop.

If you have always wanted to slather your body in chocolate, here is your chance! This light whipped texture lotion is chocolate scented and a little goes a very long way. It is not ultra moisturizing, more of a daily moisturizer but absorbs almost instantly with no greasy feeling leaving your skin soft and supple without shine. I have used this after shaving my legs with no sting and love the scent.
If you have really dry skin, I would look for something more moisturizing but for regular use, it is fine even on my drier skin like elbows and ankles.

This body wash has a golden brown shimmering look to it and smells like chocolate - because who doesn't love chocolate? It lathers easily and rinses well although it does make the water a bit brown so I would recommend rinsing well if using in a bathtub rather than shower.
At $9 (reg price, Avon always has sales on these items) it is leaves your skin soft but there are probably cheaper options out there. It is nice for a chocolate spa at home evening when combined with the matching mask and body whip.

At $10 for 100ml, it is on par with drug store mask pricing and a little goes a long way, I have used it 3 times already and there is lots left in the tube. It will probably be on sale often too.

While these do tend to vary in quality by colour, they are soft on application but not so much that they break easily, do not easily smudge once dry (you can smudge them out if done immediately after application) and wear well.
