I had gel nails for awhile and when I went to have them removed, the manicurist basically just ripped them off and that damaged my nail beneath. They were so soft and damaged I knew it would take months for them to grow out.
Another manicurist recommended I go and get this from the drug store and told it is was really good for my nails, and as good as products that cost a lot more. So I've been using it for two weeks and I can see the improvement in both my nails and my cuticles. Even after my nails are repaired, I plan to keep using this occasionally for my cuticles. It's great stuff and doesn't leave your hands feeling really greasy.

This is a very effective facial moisturizer, especially for skin that is starting to show signs of aging. I have to admit, I found it by accident. I was travelling and had forgotten my moisturizer. I went into a local shop to see what I could find and when I saw this moisturizer, I remembered that St. Ives was one of the products that has never bothered my eczema prone skin.
The consistency of this cream is very nice and it is easily absorbed so my skin doesn't feel at all greasy. The scent is so mild it's almost unnoticeable. I love that it isn't tested on animals and it doesn't contain parabens. They even have a link to tell you how to recycle the packaging. It's dermatologist tested and non-comedogenic (which means it won't clog your pores). This is a great mid-price range moisturizer and I highly recommend it!

I have a confession to make. While I've always had an excellent opinion of Vichy products, I always thought there were out of my price range. After using Vichy products for a few weeks, I saw the price in the store and realized I can afford it. I only needed to use a little bit of this cream so it will last quite awhile.
After cleansing my face and using a few drops of the elixir oil, I used a little bit of this cream and spread it all over my face. What really impressed me is the fact that my skin, which is extremely sensitive and prone to eczema whenever I use anything with perfumes,chemicals, etc., did not react at all to it. That pretty much told me this is very gentle and natural. After weeks of my new regime, it has not irritated my skin and I haven't had any eczema at all. I've been converted. I've been converted!

After using Vichy products for a few weeks, I saw the price in the store and realized I can afford it. I only needed to use a couple of drops of this oil daily.

I have a confession to make. While I've always had an excellent opinion of Vichy products, I always thought there were out of my price range. After using the One Step 3-in-1 Milk Cleanser for a few weeks, I saw the price in the store and realized I can afford it. The tube is quite large and I don't need a lot to cleanse my face.
I love the way it thoroughly cleansed my face, removing all traces of make up, etc. and it didn't dry my skin out like my previous cleanser did. I applied it to my face, and then wiped it off with a cotton pad. After using it for three weeks, my skin is noticeably softer.
But here's what really impressed me. My skin is extremely sensitive and prone to eczema whenever I use anything with perfumes, etc. in it. After weeks of using this cleaner, it has not irritated my skin and I haven't had any eczema at all. I've been converted. This cleanser is amazing!

It has taken me a long time to find a shampoo & conditioner that is good to my hair and doesn't irritate my scalp. I have sensitivities so anything with too much perfume triggers psoriasis which can be difficult to get rid of. Add to that the fact that my hair is very thick, wavy and coarse and tends to be frizzy, and you'll see I had quite the challenge.
TreSemme Expert Collection Renewal Hair & Scalp has been perfect for me. I swear by it. It gently cleans my hair without stripping all the oils, leaves it soft and shiny, and does not have a lot of perfume so it doesn't irritate my scalp. Not only doesn't it irritate, but when I started using it, I already had psoriasis, and it helped clear it up.

When I needed a new cellphone, I had a couple of factors that were important:
- it had to be unlocked as I did not want to commit to my provider for another two years.
- it had to be powerful as my cellphone is like a mini-computer to me
- it had to be affordable because I don't have $800 to drop on a phone.
I found the ASUS Zenfone 2. It was $370 and really powerful. It has a dual sim which might come in handly if I ever go to the US (I can buy a temporary sim card to use while I'm there) and an expansion slot for a micro SD card. It came with a quick charger as well. I used the NFC function to literally just copy everything from my previous phone onto this one just by putting them back to back. It has it's own launcher and many really cool apps.
The only thing that isn't great about it (and it would not stop me from buying it) is the back is a bit rounded. It is comfortable in my hand, but I cannot find accessories for it. Most wallet cases for example, won't work with it.
All in all though, it's a fantastic phone that behaves really well. The charge lasts a long time and the camera and audio functions are really good as well.
This was one of my best purchasing decisions.

I have sensitive skin and eczema that flares up whenever I use some cleansers, lotions, makeup - I have no idea what will cause it to flare. Cetaphil cleanser actually calms my skin down like no other cleanser and because of that, I have used to for a couple of decades. It is gentle and non-drying, not at all perfume-y. It may not have a big name on it, but I equate the name Cetaphil with quality and gentleness. I recommend the baby cleansers and lotions from Cetaphil for all new moms as well. This is amazingly gentle stuff and that's what you want for your little one too. -

I LOVE Kicking Horse Coffee and have been drinking it for years. While I love all of the different flavours, the Kick Ass one is the first one I ever tried and you know what they say about your “first”. I love that Kicking Horse coffee is a Canadian coffee, and when I buy it, you can smell the rich coffee aroma through the bag and I have had cashiers even comment on how great it smells. It tastes even better.
Kicking Horse Kick Ass coffee is an organic, fair trade, dark roast coffee. It has less acid and less caffeine than coffees like Folgers or Maxwell House, and the flavour can't be matched. Outstanding coffee. I can pretty much guarantee that after you try this coffee, you will be forever spoiled and will never like cheaper coffees again.
This coffee is a bit more expensive and worth every single penny. I have tried other boutique roasted coffees that cost more money and can’t even come close to the richness and body of this fantastic coffee.
