Review for retinol oil:
Everyone knows retinoids, Retin A, retinols are good for anti-aging. Was excited to try this product. I already use Retin A every other night, so added this to the mix on the off nights.
It is definitely less irritating than Retin A.
First thing I liked was the packaging. It is a bottle with weight and opaque. At first I couldn’t figure out if it was a pump that I had to twist to operate. Turned out it was a dropper.
It has a nice light fragrance that I quite like.
I used after cleansing. The cleanser had microbeads and along with this oil, a dry patch on my chin went away.
Unfortunately I did not see a noticeable difference in my overall skin texture in one week. I did find the oil too heavy to use twice daily, especially in this heat and humidity; I’d probably use it more in the winter. It is heavier than my rose hip oil and serums.
Since I use Retin A, I did not find there to be tingling or flaking from this oil.

Cleanser felt great on my skin, did not leave it dry and tight. Cleans well.
Did not notice a strong fragrance.
When used in conjunction with oil, I did notice a difference in dry patch on my chin, it got rid of it.
Unfortunately I did not see a noticeable difference in my overall skin texture in one week.
Could be because I can’t use twice a day per instructions. My dermatologist said to limit physical exfoliation bec of spider veins on my cheek. So I only used once each night, or sometimes I skipped a night and used micellar water. It was great to remove the dirt and grime on the hot humid days.

Great product to quickly cover grey roots and extend a bit of time between colouring. So happy to have received this product for free #gotitfree from Chick Advisor.
I have used different root touch ups like sprays, hair mascaras and rinses.
I have dark brown hair, almost black so greys really stand out; usually within 2-3 weeks of colouring. I try to not colour too much bec it is damaging. This hair mascara can help me stretch out at least a week.
This product what it’s supposed to do.
Pros:
-Love the packaging. Like large size mascara tube. Like that it’s shiny and has good weight to tube, not light weight cheap plastic.
-Like the small bristles - I find it gives better control
-Small to carry in purse for on the go touch ups
- best for touch ups around the hairline
Since I have long hair, I found it was more troublesome when trying to touch up along my part line. The hair gets caught in the bristles and then drags through the length of my hair; which I don’t want bec product does leave residue. If you have short hair, then shouldn’t be a problem.
I find sprays, though messy works faster in my part than the mascara.
You can’t use sprays along hairline.
Cons:
- As mention this product leaves residue, as does other touch up mascaras or sprays I’ve used. So be careful when touching your hair. It’s a little tacky and will leave colour on your finger tips/nails.
- I was also apprehensive when my boyfriend plays with my hair
- Bedtime wash up using toner on cotton pad as part of my routine. The cotton pad would have tons of dark brown residue on when wiping around hairline; lots. So I had to go over quite a few times to come clean
- the dark brown colour was little lighter than expected, but does the job, coverage looks like medium brown highlights in my dark brown hair
I don’t notice any transfer on to my pillow, but I only use on my part and hairline.
Retail price is $16, I leave it to you if you think it’s good value.
For me, I use it on hairline and prefer spray for my part (only bec it’s faster); but if I could only choose one, I would pick this hair mascara, bec you can still use on your part and it’s small enough to drop into tiny purse or pocket.
You have to be careful with the sprays, if you’re not careful it sprays all over your counters and walls. And you can’t use sprays on hairline.
Thank you for the product, I love it and will continue to buy and use.

Little goes a long way. If it had spf, then I could skip my spf and moisturizer.

So easy to set up and use.
Love the fact that I can use my own cleaning solution mixed with water.
The handle is ergonomic and I like the padded part of handle.
Use this mop regularly to keep my hardwood floors in tip top shape.

I found it does thicken, but only if you don’t mind clumps. Still clumpy when I brush out a spoolie; brushing out leaves crumbs of mascara on lids and face. End of lashes are blunt instead of pointed / fanned out look.
I find it very difficult to apply to lower lashes.
I prefer Clump Crusher.
It’s a dry formula, instead of the really wet ones. Flakes during the day Maybe I got a bad tube.
I’m glad I bough it on sale.
Will give to my daughter to see if she has better luck.

This top coat has a large brush, so made top coat easy to apply in about 2 strokes.
Liked that it was not thick.
I noticed when applying top coat, it looked streaky. And eventhough colour had dried for over half hour before top coat, when I applied top coat, there was colour transfer from polish to topcoat brush.
Good thing was when top coat dried, it looked great, no streaking.
To keep colour looking fresh and shiny, would recommend reapplying top coat every 3 or 4 days.

I was very excited to be selected to try CDN Vinylux Weekly polish. I love polish and possibility of 7 days!!
I tested Field Fox, neutral taupe w hint of purple. Beautiful colour that makes your fingers look so long.
No instructions, assume I was supposed to base coat and shake bottle.
Brush head is in the larger side, so more difficult to get clean lines. Brush hairs were little uneven, few hairs were longer.
Polish went on smooth. Perfect with 2 coats. Not thick consistency and dried quickly, as expected with new bottle and higher end polish.
Top coated brush hairs were even, however one hair was bent up. Did not affect application. But is distracting. Larger brush was good to apply in one coat. Applying top coat was steaky and colour transferred on to top coat brush. I waited over 1 hour before applying top coat. But did dry smooth, not streaky.
By day 3, still good but less shine, not as shiny as Shellac.
By day 5, noticible wear on non top coat on tips and cuticles.
I could not last full 7 days. By day 6 - photo- nail polish needs to be changed, worn and chipped.
I would suggest re-applying top coat every 3 days to keep nails fresh and perfect, then I am sure it would last full week.
Removed easily with regular polish remover.
Better than drugstore brands. I would recommend to friends.

Still last longer than normal nail polish. About a week with shiny finish.

I bought the whole kit with the LED lamp.
Now I don't need to go to nail salons for shellac.
I have been using the pink fr French manicure colour, I don't bother with the white. This way when it grows out, it isn't noticeable.
I love that I only have to update nails that chip - after many weeks, and not all fingers.
My secret is to make sure no polish touches any of the skin, then it lasts for 3-4 weeks.
