WOW. I have been a Blistex medicated lip balm addict for 15 years+ - we're talking i couldn't sleep without it, my lips would burn if i didn't have it on, and i found myself obsessing over making sure i had multiples with me at any given time; until 1 day, my mom picked up a Eucerin lip balm on a whim - so i tried it. That was 3 years ago and i have not used Blistex since - and only use this when i really need it, not on a continuous, obsessive basis.
It has the most amazing consistency, that does not feel greasy but instead moisturizing.
I have converted many of my 'blistex addict' friends!

Dove Style + Care Flexible Hold Hairspray
I received this as part of the Dove beauty box for review. It is a great hair spray if you don't want the 'freeze' effect. Great for every day use! Very flexible hold and a nice smell.

I was really intrigued when this product first came out, but was skeptical of its effectiveness.
I wear a lot of makeup, and thought 'how can a plain cloth remove everything? with just water!?'
Needless to say, being the 'marketers dream' that i am (if there is a new product, packaging, etc... i have to have it), decided to purchase it, and for $24 i figured, even if it's not PHENOMENAL, i haven't wasted a ton of money.
I immediately threw it in the washer to wash it before i used it, and proceeded to try it out that night.
AMAZING! I have forced my friends to watch me remove my makeup, because i can't believe how amazing and effective it is! Not to mention it's easy and gentle on my skin - you don't need a lot of pressure, or water.
The one thing i find does help it though, is to splash warm water on your face before, to 'loosen' your mascara - that way you don't need to really pull and tug on your eye skin.

I am a huge fan of dry shampoos, and have tried quite a few - my favourite being Batiste.
I actually had to use this the day after using the shampoo/conditioner/dry oil in the review box because my hair was soo full of residue from the products that it looked unbelievably greasy.
So i decided to give this a shot, and style my hair afterwards.
My hair looks greasy, it looks like it's full of product, and the dry shampoo, instead of creating 'manageable' hair, causes my hair to knot and look awful. I also get chalky hands after touching my hair - even though i thoroughly brushed it out.
The smell is also very strong, not unpleasant, but too strong for a dry shampoo.

I used to use Moroccan Oil & Argan oil regularly, so i am no stranger to hair oils... but this one caused the ends of my hair to almost clump together. I used less than recommended, and have thick curly hair - and this did nothing positive.
The smell however, is intoxicating!! I love it!, sadly, the scent alone is not enough.

I tend to wash my hair every couple of days, only shampoo & use a leave in conditioner on the ends of my hair.
Because i received this as part of the Dove review box, i figured i would give it a shot and use as directed.... I am not sure whether or not the 'moisturizing' component is what causes the grease, but it was almost as if i could not rinse all of the product out of my hair completely.
Smells great, and if you have really dry hair it may be a good option, but was not for me.

So after some research i figured I would give this one a shot, and for under $10, even if I don't like it, I haven't wasted a ton of money. I ended up loving it and have since gone through 8+ compacts. Great coverage & matte finish. -

Have used Lush's dry shampoo, Aveeno's dry shampoo, and Dove's. NONE of them compare to Batiste! I bought a small 'travel' size to try and immediately returned to buy the full size.
It leaves your hair feeling clean, non-greasy, and not chalky from the powder.
It does everything it says it will! I have since stopped my search for the 'perfect dry shampoo' because i found it!

It is the fastest drying top coat on the market, and i have tried a number!
The only downside, is it does cause your nail polish to shrink around the tips, which if not careful, can lead to chipping, so you just need to be sure to cap the tips with polish prior to application.
It provides great protection and shine, and the speed in which it dries is 2nd to none.
This is a staple in my makeup bag!
