I had the opportunity to try Flora Plant-Based Unsalted butter for free in exchange for my honest opinion. This product was very hard to find but I eventually did end up finding it at Whole Foods. I have been using this butter for literally everything....from buttering my morning toast and dinner rolls, to baking, roasting vegetables and on waffles and pancakes. Amazingly rich and creamy in taste, I honestly could not tell the difference between this and real dairy butter. It melted wonderfully and just made everything taste so much better. It is free from GMOs, dairy, gluten, soy, artificial flavours and preservatives. Finally a decent alternative for vegans who are tired of eating non-dairy butter made with low quality oils. It is a bit pricey and out of my budget so I would buy this on occasion as a treat or when I am cooking for vegan family and friends. #ChickAdvisorEcoBox #gotitfree #freeproduct -

I had the opportunity to try Neutrogena Skin Balancing Gentle Gel Cleanser for Normal and Combination Skin for free in exchange for my honest review. The pastel blue sleek packaging is gorgeous and looks so attractive on my bathroom counter. One pump of the gel cleanser is all you need to effectively wash your face off any dirt, impurities and makeup. I love the mild scent...it reminds me of cucumbers and aloe. For once, I appreciate a face wash that doesn't smell like a chemical explosion. The cleanser creates a mild gentle lather that won't dry out your skin. I have had a bit of "maskne" along my jawline during the current pandemic and just two days after using this, the bumps on my jawline had subsided. It also worked amazing at removing any makeup. It washed off nicely and left behind no film or residue on the face. I have also noticed a much toned complexion on my face since I started using this and have now given this product a permanent home in my skin care routine. There are no parabens, soaps, sulfates, phthalates, alcohols and dyes in this product....just goodness for your skin! When I first opened the package, I was greeted with a pleasant fragrance and was happy to see that they didn't smell like fake chemicals. I was also surprised by how moist the wipes were! Each wipe contains just the perfect amount of micellar cleansing solution, not too much or too little. I used these wipes on days where I needed to wipe my face and freshen up quickly after a long day at work. I also found this very effective for makeup removal (but not so effective on waterproof makeup!) and used the wipes as the first step in my double cleansing makeup removal routine. What I love is that they are infused with vitamin e and pro-vitamin b5 that leaves my skin super soft and moisturized. There was no greasy film left behind on my face after cleansing which is a huge pet peeve of mine with cleansing wipes. The real winner for me is that the wipes are made with 100% plant based cloth which means I can throw this straight into my compost bin! How amazing is that?? I was sent the Degree Calming Lavender Odour Protect 0% Aluminum Free Deodorant to review for testing purposes and I'm so glad to have had this opportunity because this product is now a new staple in my self-care routine. I put this deodorant to the test right away as soon as I stepped out of the shower. It glided on smoothly and left no visible residue behind on my skin or clothes. The lavender scent is a bit strong at first but it mellows down over the next half hour. It's nice to be able to catch whiffs of the lavender scent as you go about your day. I found this deodorant to be effective on my light activity days only. It helped keep any odour at bay and left me smelling fresh all day. On my more active days, this deodorant lasted about 4 hours tops before I felt the need to jump in the shower. The best part is that this deodorant is highly affordable and won't break the bank like other aluminum-free deodorants tend to. The packaging is also super cute, attractive and the slim shape makes it easy to handle for a smooth application. So if you're shopping around for a deodorant for light days where you don't need too much protection, this is a good alternative for you. #degreealuminumfree #gotitfree -

I'm not one to ever use ointments for cuts and scrapes but since I was sent this free for reviewing purposes, I had to put #BANDAIDxPOLYSPORIN to the test! I was unfortunate enough (or lucky, whichever way you look at it lol) to sustain scrapes to my knees while apple picking so this was the perfect time to try out Polysporin Complete. I applied Polysporin to one knee but not to the other, then sealed both wounds with Band-Aid Skin-Flex bandages. And so the experiment began! I kept a watchful eye on both scrapes and already from Day 1, I could feel that the scrape that had no Polysporin applied to it was a bit more painful and also stung quite a bit. As for the other knee...I couldn't feel a thing! It's like Polysporin Complete numbed the area completely and began healing the scrape right away. By Day 2, Polysporin knee was already looking much better than the one without. By Day 6, that wound had a nice scab around it while the other knee was still in the early stages of healing. No doubt in my mind that Polysporin is the real winner! I have since been using it on everyone in my family and it works amazing on cuts, burns, scrapes and even insect bites. -

This is hands down one of the best bandages I've ever used. Due to an active lifestyle, I'm pretty accident prone and bandages are a staple that I keep a good stock of at all times. These bandages go on effortlessly and super comfortable to wear. They're flexible, stretchy and feel like a second skin. Due to all the frequent handwashing we are all doing nowadays, this bandage didn't budge once and stayed securely in place when wet. Within minutes, the bandage was dry. Amazing! I had peace of mind knowing that my wounds are covered and secured from outside elements. Gone are the days when I had to change my bandages several times a day. I docked one star off because I wish this came in different sizes for different sized wounds. I'm so glad I got this free for testing purposes and will be recommending this to all the accident prone people I know. ;) -

I received this product free for testing purposes and thought the perfect time to try this was during a weekend get together with my fellow caesar lovers. If you love heat and spice, you are going to love this. There is a good balance of jalapeno puree in it and it's made with all natural and clean ingredients. The mixer itself is alcohol-free so it's perfect for even those who choose not to or can't drink. My favourite way to prepare this on a hot summer day was with a bit of ice, lemon juice, pepper and celery salt. Delicious and soooo refreshing! Honestly, the sky is the limit and there's no right or wrong way to use this. The only downside is the price. It was $6.99 for the bottle which is not something I would pay. If it goes on sale, I would grab it. -

I have been doing so much baking during quarantine that I go through butter like water in this household. I was so excited to try a plant based alternative to see how it compared to the usual brands of butter that I buy. My first impression of the Becel Unsalted Plant-Based Brick was that it looks exactly like dairy butter. It melts really fast due to the oils in it so if you need it to stay cold during baking prep, I found that putting it in the freezer for five minutes really helps. I make my own pie crusts and puff pastry so I decided to put this to the test! The butter was very easy to work and mixed in with the dough seamlessly. I honestly could not tell the difference in taste between this and actual butter. My pie crusts and puff pastries came out crispy each and every single time. Although the price is a little bit steep, I will continue to use this in baking for my vegan friends.

One of the best black teas on the market. I used to be loyal to another brand but after discovering this, I've never looked back. I cannot function without high caffeine so black tea has to be bold and strong for me. This tea achieves my desired strength after steeping in boiled water for five minutes. Just mix in some milk and sugar and you have a wonderful treat first thing in the morning to kickstart your day. I've been buying this for years and will continue to do so. -

I have been buying Tazo Zen green tea for as long as I can remember and always have multiple boxes of these crammed in my kitchen cabinet. Green tea has a ton of health benefits so with lemongrass and spearmint added in, it's even better. I tend to shy away from plain green teas because I just can't hack the taste of it. I need my green tea to have other flavours mixed in to make the taste tolerable. I am obsessed with anything lemongrass and spearmint so to have this mixed in with green tea is a bonus. This tea has a very prominent mint flavour with a subtle hint of lemongrass. It actually doesn't taste like green tea at all! So if you're someone who can't drink plain green teas, you will love this. My favourite way to prepare this is in a latte form. I highly recommend you give this a shot. -
