I'm constantly on the hunt for a good body moisturizer for whatever my skin needs are at the time. I had tried Jergens Moisturizer before but not Cherry-Almond Scent, and it was only the scent that I didn't like from my previous experience. It's been a match made in heaven now for a few years, I won't hesitate to say now it's my secret (now exposed) body moisturizer.
I also notice my guests love to use it to and smell their hands when I leave it out! It smells so good ;)

I have enjoyed using Nivea Visage Light Moisturizing Day Care specifically Normal to Combination face skin lotion. as apart of my skin care routine for the last couple of years. This is one of the only mass skin care lines face lotion that is moisturizing without feeling greasy. Even if I apply two or three times throughout a day. Which I don't do often but sometimes I need to and I never get the same level of white heads/blackheads/acne that I do with some others. -

I also received Sephora's Atomic Mascara as apart of my Sephora Birthday Gift for being a Beauty Member and I was extremely impressed with the product. I'm very picky about mascara and after years of trials and finally falling loyal to L'Oreal Voluminous I would cheat or switch my mascara routine to continue using Sephora's Atomic Mascara. I love the brush, the application and the black full, full, full lashes I'm left with. I love intense lashes for evening and this mascara lets me continue to add more until they are as thick and intense as I want after work :) -

I started using John Frieda's Radiant Red Shampoo and Conditioner since I died my hair auburn (again) three weeks ago. In addition to the colour looking rich and not fading fast, I love the cleaning and conditioning effects with my hair. My hair has never felt and smelled soo good! I can't stop touching and smelling my hair, more now than ever. I have been flip-flopping between drugstore shmp/cond products and salon products for years and this is the first drugstore product I have used that has felt like salon product results! -

I started using John Frieda's Radiant Red Shampoo and Conditioner since I died my hair auburn (again) three weeks ago. In addition to the colour looking rich and not fading fast, I love the cleaning and conditioning effects with my hair. My hair has never felt and smelled soo good! I invested in these Hush Puppies boots for Fall/Winter 2011 because they are designed by Anna Sui and remind me of her 2011 runway shows/collections where these boots were first shown. I am SO ecstatic about my purchase, not only do I love these black suede boots I bought but they are so comfortable I have noticed my knees and lower back have not been aching as bad since I started wearing them two weeks ago. Anyone else I know who has purchased a pair of Hush Puppies shoes has been very happy with the comfort and foot support benefits the brand is known for, I'm so happy that I am finding styles that suit my wardrobe/style :)

I went to a Polysporin beauty dinner recently and it was very discret in what they were going to present and once we got settled they announced the product focus, Polysporin's Cold Sore Healing Patch! Pre-dinner I was pretty shocked, but their chemist from Johnson & Johnson taught us all a lot about Cold Sores, the virus that triggers the lesions and how the Polysporin Cold Sore Healing Patch is meant to work. It was VERY educational.
How the patch works; It a thin, circular, tape-like patch that you place very gently on the lesion ensuring you allow the patch to fall in the grooves of the cold sore and your lip. Do not place it on your lesion tight like a band-aid. The patch has a two-way air flow so your lesion can heal naturally, blocking out all bacteria but allowing the lesion to breath and your body to healing it naturally in it's optimal environment. The patch doesn't hide the lesion but it sure makes it way less noticeable and clean compared to the application of a cream.
It was a beauty dinner theme because Johnson & Johnson had a make-up artist there to show us how to cover up the patch with make-up! After applying the patch as per the instructions, you can use a lip liner and lipstick to cover the patch and move on with your day and night :) NOTE: Do not use a lipstain or gloss, lip liner and lipstick are the best for proper coverage.

I bought this Maybelline Eye Shadow Trio a few weeks ago and it's been my go-to since. My previous neutral eye shadows I had finished and instead of buying them separately again I decided to try this Maybelline Trio. It was also on sale!
I love that my makeup bag has a little bit more room now and all shadows I need on a regular basis are together. I just hope I don't drop it.. ;) When it comes to the shadow product itself the pigmentation and coverage is fantastic! It doesn't advertise long wearing but it definitely stays in place for most of the day. It's not until after work when I get home that I notice an eyeshadow crease. I would definitely recommend this easy to use palette and neutral shades to any friends and family.

High school friends and co-owners Michelle Gunn and Kelly Power, were inspired to open their own bridal boutique, Mrs. Bridal after they both had challenges finding THE dress for their own weddings that were; unique and well priced...
Now this has become Michelle and Kelly's daily mission, offering an extensive range of unique wedding dresses in the Mid-Range price point ($2,500 - $7,000). The boutique is settled amongst and inside a townhouse offering customers a very comfy/homey experience. Feel free to pop-in and view the boutiques accessories on the main level, but if you want to see the dressess, book an appointment! Appointments are scheduled to avoid any distractions other then finding the perfect wedding dress.
I highly recommend booking an appointment with Mrs. Bridal when you start looking for your wedding dress, Mrs. Bridal will definitely offer you a one-of-a-kind experience, and DRESS!

I recently went to an event to celebrate the 1 year anniversary of the American Express Gold Rewards Card. It was a nice event, a thank you to all of the media, travel bloggers that have been supporting the card since the launch a year ago. I hate the thought of another credit card but this one is like no other... The card is designed more to provide you travel points than a "buy now, pay later" shopping tool. Use the card for your day to day purchases but you must pay the card balance off by the end of the month. The points you can accumulate will pay off better than any other rewards travel card you have now. Check out the card online but here are some notes I took during the presentation. I was just blown away by the amount of consumer research and feedback they acquire and use to continually make your travel and card experience the most beneficial as possible.
My notes:
- AMEX listened to consumers feedback/frustration about waiting in line when traveling.
- points flexible enough to book a last minute, midnight train.
- Gold Rewards Card doesn't have the restrictions as other cards. You can use the points anytime, anywhere, with any travel provider.
- You can accumulate enough points to purchase a full year of travel!
- You can transfer the points to a number of airlines.
- Spend points with another reward program!
- travel/merchandise/entertainment products are also available for purchase with your points.
- There is a Trip Flex option
- You could be earning double the points than other cards, when you're just using the card to buy groceries!
- American Express (AMEX) rely on consumer feedback to make the card a better experience, so if you have one please keep them update with any feedback and/or suggestions!
