Some shades have more colour than others but overall, it is a great product I will definitely use again...and again :) -

I tried using it as a mixing medium to lighten the three colours, as well as alone to brighten up my under eye area before applying my foundation...Neither was very successful. I can think of a dozen other concealers I'd choose over this one. -

This foundation is great!
It is very easy to work with, hydrating, very blend-able, and will give you the coverage you need without looking too heavy! It's super affordable as well and makes a great alternative to any foundation I've used that is more expensive :)

Their polishes are great and need 2 coats for the true colour. They are durable and come in flat, sparkly, metalic and sheer variations. They also have shades you can't find anywhere else!
My faves are the bright purple, dark indigo, and the vibrant coral all in flat finish :)

Use a cream shadow or eyeshadow base to intensify the colour of the pigments
Mix a bit of pigment with clear gloss or clear nail polish to create your own hues!

I started a high protein diet to improve my overall health and to lose weight from my pregnancy. This stuff is great because it boosts your metabolism, gives you energy to start off your day, and keeps you full a lot longer than cereals or other breakfast foods. It's been about 4 weeks and I've lost almost 8 pounds :)
Try this for your morning shake and you will notice a difference in your energy level as well as how much less you snack throughout the day:
1 cup skim or 1% milk
1 cup frozen strawberries
1 small banana
a scoop vanilla protein powder
1/2 cup yogurt of your choice
- blend until smooth and enjoy!

But for you more patient people out there who are looking to find a unique piece of home decor like vintage tea cups or candle holders, this is a great place to browse. If you have extra time on your hands you could even manage to put together a cute outfit with their endless isles of 2nd hand clothing. They have other items like shoes and used furniture, but I have never found anything in good enough condition to actually buy in those departments. -
Dollarama
Call me crazy, but I LOVE the Dollarama!!! I can honestly say it is in my top 5 favourite places to shop :) I have bought everything from Dove soap, hair accessories, body wash, candles, mini shelves, incense, hairspray, kids books, groceries...the... +

I have bought everything from Dove soap, hair accessories, body wash, candles, mini shelves, incense, hairspray, kids books, groceries...the list goes on!
If you have a free afternoon and a pocket full of change, make your way to your local Dollarama and be surprised at how fast you can fill one of their mini shopping carts (you might even need to keep your change where it is and whip out the debit card) LOL
(Note that the service rating is low...who cares! it's a dollar store, what do you expect?)

Oh yeah, and their commercials are pretty funny too :P
