Front & Co. is one of my fave stores cause you never know what you might find. It's also a very well-organized consignment store. They are pretty picky about what stock they take, so you'll find really great stuff. It's a cute mix of old and new... +
Front & Co. is one of my fave stores cause you never know what you might find. It's also a very well-organized consignment store. They are pretty picky about what stock they take, so you'll find really great stuff. It's a cute mix of old and new. They have lots of new sample dresses, and a big selection of American Apparel as well as jewellery & accessories (hats, sunglasses, etc.). Front is also famous for it's window displays, some of the best in the city. I also really like their selection of gifts, candles, dishware, greeting cards, novelty items (fred flare items), baby stuff, etc.
If you are interested in consigning your stuff there, they'll give you a 40% cut. They do have to go through your items and pick & choose. And are quite picky (which ensures good stock in the store).

I switched to Bare Minerals about a year ago and love it. It's so quick and easy to use. Light, but still providing enough coverage to look polished. My only gripe now is that it's not available in Vancouver yet!!!

This is the first place in Vancouver, BC that's specialty are Semi-Permanent Lash Extensions. Vivian, the owner is amazing!! And the lashes, GORGEOUS. This is much more natural looking then fake lashes. She individually glues on individual lashes to your current lashes. They come in various colours and you can even add highlight colours like deep purple. They last approximately 4 weeks (where you'll then need refills), it depends on how you take care of 'em (no rubbing, so you gotta wash your face facial style). With lash extensions, you don't even have to go curl your lashes or put on mascara, you'll wake up looking like you have long luscious lashes. Perfect for anyone getting married too instead of fake lashes. They look just as good, but close-up, they will also look natural.
