The sunscreen is very light-weight, absorbs quickly, and moisturizes at the same time. With this product I don't burn as easily after being in the sun for a couple hours and my skin is less sensitive to sun. Another problem with some sun screens is that when you come out of the water it shows as your skin turns white. I tested this Mary Kay sunblock under running water and there are no embarrassing lotion spots. I give this product full thumbs up. Here's my usual disclosure: I am an independent beauty consultant with Mary Kay, but this review is posted in my capacity as a consumer. -

This is a mechanical eye-liner that comes in a variety of colours. I started using it last year and fell in love instantly. It lasts through a day or work/school (I apply it around 7-8 am) and then through gym without smudges. The texture is very soft and creamy and it easy to apply. I am using it in Deep Brown the most - it is about done now and lasted since about November 2010. I also have it in Amethyst and Black. Although I should mention, I am an independent beauty consultant with Mary Kay, but this review is posted in my capacity as a consumer, and I absolutely love this product. -

I am in love with this creme. The smell is amazing - I can't really figure out what it smells like but it is something like cucumber / avocado / aloe vera... It just smells like a good quality creme should smell and it gets me in a great mood in the morning... The texture is great and it applies and absorbs well. It has SPF15 so it provides some protection against UV. I got mine in February and I've been using it most days twice a day, but some days I was cheating and using a Nivea instead just because EL still feels like a treat. I think in the near future I will completely switch to EL as my skin feels amazing - it does feel like porcelain and I do get compliments pretty frequently... like today I got 4 years younger than my age which I totally take as a compliment... When I feel like I need some extra repair, I use it together with Advanced Night Repair serum at night. Overall, great product. -

I like this one. I have it in Yellow Kitty and Thinking of Blue. Not sure how fast it dries because I usually get extremely involved in my cell phone games after applying which occupies me for about an hour... On a mani it lasts for about 2-3 days but by the end of 2nd/3rd day it starts getting scratches and chips so I have to reapply... but I don't mind since I like to switch it up. On a pedi, so far it's been 4 days and I am noticing some small chips so not too great either... However, I like the colours and in 2 coats it does give great opaque finish - so I don't mind the tradeoff. -
I love it - reduces my sensitivity considerably - especially after eating acidic foots like fruit and sour juices. The only con is that I like foamy toothpaste and this one does not foam as well.

Terroni on Adelaide is a very convenient location and the atmosphere is great for a get-together with a bigger group. The food is good, and the menu selection is great if you like pizza or pasta - they have about 20 interesting variaties of thin-crust pizza with a number of vegitarian options.
For about $38 (tax and tip included) I had a caprese salad (I love bocaccinni cheese!) and a Quattro Staggioni pizza (which was only ok, but other people in the group really liked their food). Unfortunately, the service was not great - we suspect it is because gratuity of 18% was included in our bill for a group of 12. I don't think I would go back there - there are other places with great food and great service in the area with comparable prices

Ok this product is weird. The texture feels like starch. It does some instant volumizing, but do not confuse it with great styling. Maybe I haven't learnt how to work it yet... I got it as a volumizing mousse alternative on a short trip (why doesn't mousse come in containers under 100 ml to take it in the carry-on?), so together with the cheap hotel conditioner, it did not do the job at all... The verdict: I'm confused but not giving up just yet... -

The texture of this product is creamy, easy to apply, and it smells nice :) It is on the expensive side - goes for about $15 at Shoppers Drug Mart. To make it last, I alternate with my regular conditioner every other wash.

My favourite thing about this product is the bag that the brushes come with. It has a lot of pockets of different sizes and space to keep the brushes organized. All my makeup fits in the bag and keeps it in order in one place rather than lying around all over the place. The set comes with Mineral Foundation brush, blush brush, brow and eye liner brush, 2 lid brushes, and a free lip brush. The brushes themselves do the job that the brushes are supposed to do. They are soft and do not shed hair. Love the product, although at $75 I feel it is a little expensive

When I saw the ads on TV I was really excited - it seemed like a one-stop shop for a smoky eye effect. I tried the golden-brown combination because no other choice would go well with green eyes. My excitement melted away as soon as I got home and tried the product. The crayon-style applicators seemed too hard/dry and you need to press really hard to get something out of it. If you try it with a primer - the product just glides on your eye lid without any effect. The colour goes on uneven, and the brown that comes with the gold is actually very ugly. Another thing I hate about CG products in general (like eyeliners, etc) is that the plastic cap breaks almost right away and fails to stay on - multiple times I had accidents in my purse because of this. Oh well, I tried the shadowblast 2 or 3 times without ever stepping outside with it on, kept it in my "old but hopefully I'll use it again makeup" pouch for a couple months, and yesterday retired it with a sigh into a garbage bin - what a waste of around $10 after-tax -
