I had poured a little taste of Canadian Club 12 Year on Friday night over ice with some standard Canada Dry, and enjoyed it as usual. But then I needed to make a quick trip to the convenience store and decided I wanted a twist on my usual.
I went to the fridge and grabbed a single can of Canada Dry Cranberry Ginger Ale. I came home and cracked it open, poured a splash over a fresh shot of whiskey, and guess what - it was good. The taste was bright and balanced well with the whiskey. And when I took a few drinks of just the Cranberry Ginger Ale from the can, that was enjoyable too.
With the holidays coming and my love of cranberry ready to be embraced, I'm sure I'll have a few more cans.

Often I drink it over 2 ice cubes, or a frozen whiskey stone for a slight chill. I can't remember the last time I mixed Jameson with Coke or Ginger Ale, we have other whiskey for that.
ps. Keep your eye open for the Caskmates bottles too. They run a little bit more $$$ but offer a nice twist on the classic flavour, and we've enjoyed them too.

Honestly, I'm not a huge fan of Tim Hortons coffee. I don't know if this makes me a bad Canadian, but sorry, eh. However, when I am at Timmy's and need a caffeine jolt, I do order the Dark Roast. The flavour is a lot more appealing to me, and I can enjoy it with just one sugar, the way I like it. Given the choice between Dark Roast and Original, I will choose dark 10 times out of ten.
We know the sizes are huge. We know the prices are fair. We know we all want Tim Bits. And if you're offering, I'll take a large Dark Roast, black, one sugar. Thanks.

Yes, there are a million other coffee brands with advanced flavour and roasts and beans - but I am the only one that drinks coffee at home, and I don't want my coffee budget to be bigger than it needs to be for my own selfish caffeine fix.
If it's on sale for less than $6, we get a can put it in the pantry, and know we have it when I need it.

We hang the Quartet whiteboard calendar in the office at home and use it to track work schedules, projects, events, wrestling ppvs, birthdays and more.
For less than $20, we've more than gotten our money's worth from this calendar over the last 2+ years and use it for 5 weeks at a time at all times.
Added bonuses are the lined list area at the side for additional notes, the corkboard strip at the bottom for pinning any notes, and the magnets in case that works for you too.

This is the cookbook we used at home when I was young for all of our cookies. And it's the book I used to learn how to bake. And if you're looking for a good chocolate chip cookie - my all-time favourite is the Chocolate Chipper recipe!

We made the switch to Rascal and Friends Diapers at size 2 and are at size 4 now. They are great for daytime and night time. We have rarely had any kind of leaking - and I'd be willing to admit that's user error when putting the baby in the diaper... +

The price is good and makes it easy to choose them while shopping at Walmart in Canada.
