I got this sponge for free when MUFE sent me their water blend foundation to try. This blender/sponge is extremely ineffective and I feel like I'm just spreading product all over my face
Pro:
- none
Cons:
- does not blend product into face (just smudges it around and remains a layer on the sponge
- you have to press the sponge with product into your face for it to take (but this takes a LONG time)
- dense / does not feel good on the face
- expensive (compared to other sponges on the market)

I've heard great things about essence make up - it's affordable and supposedly high quality. One time when I was travelling, I misplaced my mascara and decided to pick this up as a quick replacement. Unfortunately, the brush does not work with my short Asian lashes - I end up getting more mascara on my lids than on my lashes ...
Pros:
- cheap / affordable
Cons:
- brush is not good for short lashes (the bristles are short, so in order to get the product on your lashes, you need to bring it real close to your eye)
- brush does not "comb" out lashes, making it clumpy (again a fault with the brush, because it is not staggered, it is difficult to comb out short lashes without touching your lids)
I have yet to find a drugstore brand of mascara that works well for me ... so I am still looking. For now, I love using Benefit They're Real and MUFE Extravagant Lashes. Other mascaras that I would also recommend (aka runner ups) are Lancome Hypnose Drama, YSL Babydoll, Marc Jacobs Velvet Noir.

I've been using ecotools for as long as I can remember, it's (more than) affordable and they're great quality ! I used to own MAC and Sephora brushes but I find that ecotools actually lasts longer when it comes to the quality of the bristles over time.
Pros:
- extremely affordable, I would actually say a steal
- available at Walmart/Winners
- picks up pigment very well
- soft on the face
- easy to clean
- sustainable
- cruelty free
Cons:
- none
I love ecotools because each brush have multi-usage. I typically use this brush to blend out my contouring or for bronzing.

This is the perfect solution for soothing dry skin, scars, etc. I find it particularly useful for my hands after working out, and i'm seeing my skin starting to peel. This is perfect !! I would definitely recommend it. I think it would be perfect for travel too -

- pretty expensive for the little tube
I'm a big fan of the Blistex (specifically the berry kind) and I still haven't found anything that is a better value or better for moisturizing my lip.
