I came across this while grocery shopping in the organic section - everything is generally so expensive but this one was on sale so I decided to try it. (It is still pricey after the sale, but organic / healthy options have really become a premium commodity these days). The flavour was absolutely delicious. Half the time I just ate it on its own like a cereal, the other times, I would sprinkle it in my yoghurt. It was always delicious - the crunch is not too hard like some granolas. -

This product pleasantly blew my mind. L'Oreal has always been a drugstore brand to me that is large and wellknown - but also average so I didn't have high expectations for this product. My hair is permed curly and towards the end of my perm cycle, it is often very difficult to keep the volume and curls in my hair. I applied this after a shower and was very surprised to see how full bodied my hair looked. There was no sticky feeling, and the smell was actually quite nice (unlike typical drugstore brand scent that are heavily scented of chemicals). My only criticism (although not enough to stop using it) is that I needed a second product to "hold" or solidify my look afterwards.

Wow !! Most cleansers I try I feel meh or average about, but this is actually amazing ! It is clear that Neutrogena is working hard on their rebrand, and part of that process includes pushing out great new products.
As a cleanser/make up remover, it works really well. With other cleansers, I usually use miscellar water for my eye make up before using a cleanser to avoid rubbing so hard, but I didn't have to use it with this new Neutrogena cleanser ! It removes make up quickly, and you can rub it in super gently and it has a refreshing/cool feel as you rub it into your skin. As a test to see how well it removed my make up, I used my rose witch hazel toner on a cotton pad. It left almost no residue - only really on the edge of my face around my ears (and that's just my fault for not trying to avoid getting my hair/hairline wet).
As a clay mask, also very great ! I love that in ~5 mins, you can actually feel the impurities disappear from your face. One thing to make sure is that you do need to moisturize immediately after this product - otherwise your skin will dry out !!

I am sooooo in love with this mask. I have always hated sheet masks because they are never a good fit. This new mask by Neutrogena is split into two, making it easier to conform / wrap around your face. The gel like material to me is a sign of high quality - much better than the fabric sheet masks that are out there. I loved how the holes for the eyes/mouth flops over (you'll understand if you see it for yourself) and adds extra moisture to the eye bag area and the chin area. I absolutely love that it has hyaluronic acid in it - it's pretty much a huge hype right now (that works on your skin). It felt really refreshing on the face and I just can't stop talking about it.

This product retails for $70 at Sephora and I managed to find it for $20 at Marshall's so that was crazy. I am an avid fan of all bumble & bumble products and I currently use all hair products from their lines (unless I was given products for free to try). This product is supposed to help prevent hair loss but so far I am not seeing a dramatic difference. I've tried using it both on damp and dry hair and still not much of a difference. It also has a more manly scent ... unlike their other sprays like the invisible spray I use every day. -

My mom is lactose intolerant and she loved it ! There's been a surprising number of new lactose intolerant frozen desserts popping up on the market and she says this one makes it as one of her top 5 !

It's no doubt that pasta is a carb. I always try to maximize on veggies and proteins (i.e. meats, fishes, tofus, etc.) over carbs for every meal. But I also love pasta and there's just no getting away from that. If i'm going to be enjoying pasta, I would much rather it be healthy - made with whole grain wheat. I am a big fan of catelli - I do find that their pastas taste better than most other brands and generic brands as well. -

There are lot of bad primers out there - and this isn't one of them. But that is not to say that this is good. I decided to try out this primer because of its price. It literally cost $4-5 for such a big tube.
(I actually stopped using primer for a while because I've been trying to reduce the number of steps in my morning/makeup routine. Plus it was costly and I don't have terrible skin that absolutely begs for a primer.) After this tube runs out, I don't think I will repurchase. This primer works just fine, but there's nothing revolutionizing about it that my skin needs it. If anything, it is increasing a step in my beauty regime.

This serum is thicker than most serums I've tried (which are usually water based and very thin) - I think this is great as it feels like it building a protective layer to retain moisture on my skin.
