One of my kids' (5 and 8) favourite bedtime snacks is Greek yogurt. I don't like them to have a ton of processed sugar before bed because it impacts their sleep, so I avoid the flavoured yogurts. I usually give them plain yogurt with a drizzle of honey or maple syrup. They both like it this way, but they get bored with only two flavour options. Kids Omega·Squeeze - Tangerine to the rescue! The first night they had Omega-Squeeze in their yogurt they gushed about how good it was and commented that it tasted like a creamsicle. I like that they get Omega-3s from it (important for my fussy 5-year-old who won't eat fish) and that it doesn't appear to impact their sleep the way pre-sweetened yogurt does. The bottle is easy and clean to use. My only concern is the price. As a single parent in a world where everything seems to be costing more daily, I'm not sure I would be able to afford to purchase this product regularly. We will be sure to enjoy this freebie while it lasts! -

Both my daughter (4) and son (7) are huge Hatchimals fans. It's almost a requirement in our home that there are a few eggs to hatch in their Easter baskets and Christmas stockings. They come up with unlimited imaginary games to play with Hatchimals. I enjoy that it's a toy they both enjoy. The Rainbow-cation Camper is the first Hatchimals toy we've owned other than the figures. Both kids got very excited when we opened the box. They enjoyed hatching the eggs and discovering all the parts of the camper and how it opens. My daughter loved that it was a set of a mom and her kids. My son was less thrilled; he enjoys the surprise of the regular eggs that can be many different creatures. Since the initial opening, my son hasn't really played with this set. My daughter, however, has barely stopped playing with it! They go camping in their grandparents' RV in the summer, so she reenacts with the Hatchimal family activities they do while camping. My main concern is that some of the parts don't feel very solid. I worry about the longevity of the door and the slide. That said, my daughter rarely cares when they toys she loves break; she still sees their beauty and continues to play with them. Given her love of animals and camping, I expect this to be a toy she uses frequently until she outgrows it. -

My son (7) has had a few Bakugan for about a year now. They make their way into play occasionally, but they are not a favourite. Additionally, my daughter (4) never showed any interest in them, so they weren't used for collaborative play. I expected more of the same from the Evolutions Mythic Battle Pack. To my surprise, however, these Bakugan are a hit! Each child got three and they played with them for hours. They make it into the play rotation at least once a week. Neither child enjoys the game they are supposed to play with them, but they love imaginative play in the fantasy world they've created around the characters. I was worried my daughter would get frustrated trying to put them back into ball form. All it took me showing her a few times, and she had it mastered! She has even taken the unicorn style Bakugan to bed with her, she loves it so much. Overall it was a pleasant surprise at how much interest my kids had with these and I have enjoyed several priceless hours of peace because of them. Needless to say, mom is a big fan too! -

My kids love this Batmobile! It's a good size - not so big it's clunky and not small enough to get trapped under furniture. It gets good traction on carpet and can climb small hills/ramps. My kids have had fun testing it's limits as to how steep a hill it can climb! My 7-year-old son was used to a smaller RC car, so there was a bit of a learning curve for driving the Batmobile. It is longer and requires a wider turning radius. Once he figured that out though, he was very happy. My only problem with this toy is that the description of it is false. It says it comes with a USB rechargeable remote and out of bounds sensors. The car I received has neither of this things. The remote is traditional style - remove the tiny screw to get at and replace the batteries when they run out. That said, it seems to be relatively easy on batteries. Overall this Batmobile has been a huge hit in my house - the description just needs to be changed to match the product. -

I wasn't sure what to expect with these remote control trucks. My 7-year-old son has been given remote control vehicles as gifts in the past and he has never taken to any of them. In fact, he had a larger Grave Digger remote control truck a couple years ago. He played with it once, found it difficult to drive, and never went back to it. I was pleasantly surprised when we opened the Racing Rivals box that this Grave Digger was a more reasonable size. My son commented on it too; he liked that he could pick it up with one hand instead of requiring both hands. We popped in the batteries and he immediately started zipping it around the house. His 4-year-old sister couldn't let him have all the fun and quickly joined in with Megalodon. They swapped back and forth a few times. My son ultimately decided he liked Megalodon the best "because it drives better". I tried them both and I agree, Megalodon is more nimble. Grave Digger feels more clunky and not as responsive. My daughter is too young to notice or care about these things and quite proudly took ownership of "Digger". These have now become outside toys as they are more fun with lots of room to drive. The kids take them out for 20-30min almost every sunny day. They seem durable and the original batteries are still in them. I think older and/or more competitive kids might find Grave Digger a bit frustrating, but, for my two that are just driving them down the sidewalk for fun, they are more than good enough. The only thing I question is the inclusion of the cardboard "tracks". They seem pointless and wasteful. As my son pointed out, they are far too narrow to be real tracks. Even if they're set up more as barriers, both vehicles can easy drive over them. Overall, these are great remote control trucks for younger children. -

I have tried a lot of dry shampoos over the years. I have long, straight, fine hair. Even though it's not particularly greasy, any amount of grease/sweat is noticeable due to my hair's texture, so I use dry shampoo quite often. Dove Care's dry shampoo is middle of the road of all the brands I've tried.
Pros: This dry shampoo sprays on evenly and massages in easily. After I've brushed my hair, there is no visible white residue (very important to a brunette!). It gives me extra volume and my hair looks refreshed.
Cons: My hair looks good, but it doesn't feel good after use. My hair is usually very soft and smooth. It feels rough and almost stiff after this dry shampoo. I don't I could use this product two days in a row - there would just be too much build up. The smell is definitely one of my least favorite dry shampoo scents. It's supposed to be coconut lime, but it just smells like strong, cheap perfume.
Overall, it's not the worst dry shampoo on the market in it's price bracket, but there are certainly better options in my opinion. I will likely use the can I was give by Chick Advisor, but I intend to go back to my favourite dry shampoo afterwards. #gotitfree

My family doesn't drink a lot of pop... In fact, we typically only have it at other people's birthday parties. Because of this, I was a bit apprehensive about trying Canada Dry Lemonade. I feared it would be too syrupy sweet to a family that drinks only water and tea. I was pleasantly surprised when I tried it! Yes, it was sweet, but the lemon cut the sweetness making it very refreshing. It doesn't have that syrupy aftertaste that is so common with pop. It also has an excellent balance of ginger and lemon. In fact, this is probably the only pop I've ever tried that I would even consider drinking on a hot day. My husband also really enjoyed it and is looking forward to making some grown up drinks with it on Canada Day. Thanks for letting me try it! #gotitfree #CanadaDryLemonade -

This is a very effective moisturizer! I have very dry skin, especially in winter. I apply moisturizer all over after a shower and to my hands multiple times throughout the day. This gel cream goes on smoothly and absorbs in quickly. It feels so light on the skin, I was concerned it wouldn't moisture enough. Was I wrong! It keeps my skin as hydrated as my usual, much thicker cream. The only thing I wasn't a fan of was the scent. At first it smells lovely - almost like sweet green apple. After it's been on the skin for a few minutes though, it starts to smell like cheap perfume. The scent does fade over time, so it's not a total deal breaker for me. Overall, this is an excellent moisturizer that goes on feeling light, absorbs in quickly, and hydrates with the best of them. I would definitely recommend this product as long as you aren't scent sensitive. #gotitfree -

Everyone I know always raves about Essie. I needed a good nail polish that would last through a weekend getaway. I picked a beautiful shade of pale blush and carefully applied two coats and a top coat. I allowed plenty of drying time inbetween coats. This was Thursday. By lunch on Friday, one of my nails was peeling and three others had chipped. I had to redo my nails before the trip! This time I used another brand that cost 1/4 the price of the Essie. It lasted 4 days before it chipped. Other than the beautiful colour, I thought Essie nail polish was rubbage. -
