This lip balm has been my daily go-to lip balm for years. NIVEA Essential Lip Balm is white in the tube, but it goes on completely clear. It applies smoothly and has minimal shine – just enough to make lips look healthy. This lip balm moisturizes well and can easily be worn under or over lip colour. Another bonus I discovered (while living in the arctic) is that it won’t freeze to your lips in cold weather as some lip balms do. Even at -60C, NIVEA Essential Lip Balm stayed pliable and protected my lips from the harsh elements. I have one of these balms in every bag I own and multiples floating around the house. My grandmother is 88, but she looks like she’s at least a decade younger. When people ask how she looks so good, she always says she’s moisturized twice daily since she was a teenager. If you ask which kind of moisturizer, she’ll tell you NIVEA Crème. Even knowing this, however, I’ve never really tried it myself.
NIVEA Crème is very, very thick. It is definitely a cream and not a lotion. I had a bit of difficulty working it into my skin, especially on my face. Although, once I managed to work it in, it felt wonderful. My skin felt incredibly moisturized and looked dewy. My makeup glided on over top. Unfortunately, throughout the day I ultimately ended up looking greasy and my makeup shifted a bit. I think this is more of a night cream for someone like me who has combination skin. Since unsuccessfully trying it on my face, I’ve been sticking to using it on my hands. It has done wonders for my cracked fingers and peeling cuticles! I am looking forward to trying it on my dry winter elbows and knees in a few months.
NIVEA Crème isn’t designed for my face; it’s just too rich. I will, however, continue to use it on my hands. It smells lovely and makes my skin ridiculously soft. #gotitfree #niveamusthaves

Since I had my son, I've been struggling to find an anti-perspirant that gives me adequate wetness and odour protection but doesn't dry out my sensitive skin. I have tried so many brands with no success. Good wetness and odour protection always seems to come with sore, irritated arm pits. Because of this, I didn't have high hopes for NIVEA Protect & Care Anti-perspirant/Deodorant. Thankfully, it surprised me and it was so much better than expected!
This anti-perspirant is a white solid, but it goes on clear if you use a light touch. It has that lovely NIVEA scent to it and it smells very light, not oppressively scented like some deodorants. I've worn it every day since I received it and it provided adequate wetness protection each day. The odour protection was good too; it only failed my once, on a particularly hot and active day. It works as well as the clinical strength anti-perspirant I was using, but the NIVEA differs in how it makes my skin feel. My pits are not longer sore and irritated! Protection without irritation? Finally! I will be a loyal user from now on. (I deducted half a point because I don't believe this product would last the 48 hours the packaging claims it will. I found it was good for 24 hours, but that was pushing it.) #gotitfree #niveamusthaves

These cleansing wipes are good, but they’re nothing to get excited about. The removed my makeup and even did a decent job on my waterproof eye makeup. My skin felt clean, but not dry afterwards. All that said, my current brand of facial wipes do the same things. In fact, if it wasn’t for the classic NIVEA scent, I’m not sure I’d be able to tell them apart from my current brand. I like the NIVEA wipes, and they’ll be a good alternative if my regular wipes aren’t available, but I was hoping for something better than what I already use. -

NIVEA Cleansing Lotion is designed to be massaged into the skin and then either removed with a dry cotton ball, or rinsed with water. I tried both these methods and my traditional method of using a wet face cloth. The cotton ball left my skin feeling raw and irritated. I also felt like my skin wasn’t clean and I still had product on my face. The water rinsing method did a better job at removing the cleansing lotion, but my waterproof eye makeup stubbornly stayed put. The usual method of using a wet face cloth worked the best. I felt like my skin was clean and all my makeup came off with no irritation. Unfortunately, after three days of using this product, I started to break out all over. I almost never break out, and if I do, it’s just in my T-zone. I know it had to be this product because I had not introduced anything else new to my face. Dove® Clinical Protection Powder Soft Antiperspirant

I regularly use clinical strength antiperspirant, however my usual brand was drying out my skin. I thought I'd try Dove Clinical Protection since it's supposed to be more gentle to skin. I liked the smell of it (very soft) and it glided on nicely. It was definitely more gentle on my skin as my pits were sore before I started using the Dove and they were back to normal after a few days. Unfortunately, the antiperspirant qualities of this product are lacking. It quit preventing wetness and odor by mid-afternoon most days. This was a deal breaker for me and I will have to continue to search for a gentle clinical antiperspirant that works for more than half the day. -

My son is two and has refused to drink milk for almost a year now. He is also a super picky eater. I was hoping this nutritional supplement would be a great way to fill the nutritional gaps in his diet. Unfortunately, he hated this drink more that he hates milk. He took one sip, made a face, and then handed the cup back to me. I tried it myself, and I have to agree, it doesn't taste great. I ended up baking with it (refined sugar free banana-kale bread) and it turned out well. I'm sure the probiotics in the supplement are destroyed by the baking heat, but the vitamins and minerals should stay intact, which is what I'm most concerned about. Ultimately, I'll use the container I received, but I wouldn't buy it. #gotitfree #nestletoddlernutrition -

Aqualia Thermal Light Cream is an excellent moisturizer for combination skin. It has a lovely creamy texture and absorbs quickly into the skin. It hydrates my dry spots without making my oily spots shiny. My makeup goes on over top of it easily and lasts all day – no creasing, caking, or flaking. I love everything about it and it would be the absolute perfect moisturizer for me if it was unscented. The scent isn’t unpleasant, and it fades quickly after application, I just prefer not to put scents on my face. -
