This unscented, light blue balm goes on like silk over the delicate eye area. It is by far, the best eye serum/balm I have ever tried and my favourite product from the Aqualia line. It hydrated my eye area and, as a result, made my fine lines less noticeable. While it didn't do anything to lessen my dark circles, it did help my undereye concealer glide on smoothly and evenly, which was a huge bonus. I often have trouble with concealer caking and cracking throughout the day; with the Awakening Eye Balm, this is no longer an issue. -

It is a nice serum; it just isn't for me. It massages nicely into the skin and instantly hydrates. It is, however, heavily perfumed. The scent lingers long after application. Some people may enjoy this, but since I tend to use unscented products, I found it to be too much. I also found I had to be careful not to apply too much. If I applied more than a very thin layer, my skin would end up feeling humid and sticky after a few hours. That said, I live in Halifax and summers here are incredibly humid. I have a feeling if I had been asked to test this product in the winter or in a drier climate, I may have a different opinion of it. Right now, I plan on saving the remaining product until winter when my skin is screaming for moisture. I may be able to get past the scent of it in exchange for some well-hydrated cheeks. #VichyWorksForMe #GotItFree -

CoverGirl LashBlast mascara is my go-to daytime mascara. It gives me some length and adequate volume. It is not a dramatic mascara, so I usually use another brand for evenings. Mascara is usually good for 3 months, but I find this kind starts to clump after 4-6 weeks. It's a good price though, so it's not a lot of money out of pocket to replace it frequently.
I have a really hard time getting mascara (or any eye makeup) to stay where it's supposed to. LashBlast is very waterproof and stays put all day. Unfortunately, this also makes it difficult to remove at the end of the day. No matter how well I think I've washed my face, I still end up with "raccoon eyes" the morning after wearing this mascara.

Almay Smart Shade Perfect and Correct Primer is a great primer for dry skin that's prone to redness.
I have combination skin - oily T-zone and very dry cheeks. Almost every primer I've ever tried has either peeled off my T-zone after an hour's wear, or it has dried out my cheeks and turned them into a flakey mess.
Smart Shade primer stays on my skin until I take it off - no peeling! It evens out my skin tone by muting my red patches and pink undertones and does not dry out my sensitive skin. Unfortunately, it has very little in the way of oil absorbing properties. I am forced to use a different primer on my T-zone to prevent the mid-day shine. If you have dry skin all over, you'll love the Smart Shade primer.
