The smell is natural and texture is smooth. I have applied the lotion to my body for a week and there is no allergies on my skin so far. My husband used not to use lotion everday since he dislike the geasy texture of the cream. When he tried Aveeno gel moisturizer, it changes his mind and he loves it! I think this moisturizer suits both men and women.!    -
