I got this Lancome Bi-Facil Eye Make-Up Remover as a sample in a Lancome gift with purchase and I loved it so much that I have bought the full size. It is a dual phase remover but it does not leave an oily residue whatsoever and it's very gentle on my eyes. It is also really effective at taking off all my eye makeup (and I do have a lot of waterproof eye makeup on at most times). Highly recommend. To me, this is just as good as the MAC dual phase gentle eye makeup remover. -

I love my MAC Blacktrack Fluidline (Blitz and Glitz is just as great but just slightly softer than Blacktrack in terms of intensity colour). I only use gel liners and this is the best one I've tried....it's very long lasting, doesn't smudge throughout the day (although you can give it a bit of a smudged look while it's drying) and it's pretty much waterproof. I use this pretty much everyday and I apply it with a liner brush. It doesn't dry out quickly like the Smashbox gel liner either (which is smaller in size AND costs more than the MAC fluidline)......I can finish the whole fluidline without it drying out completely (although towards the end it does get a bit dry....but nothing major). Highly recommend and I'll always have this as a staple in my makeup bag -

I have a number of MAC pigments and I mainly like the shimmer/glitter ones like 3D gold. I know a lot of people complain about fall out and yes, there will be some fallout when you apply this as an eyeshadow.....but it does help if you foil it (wet your brush a bit before dipping it into the pigment so there's less fall out). The main advantage as some have pointed out is that with the pigments you can be more versatile than MAC's pressed shadows (you can add some to lipgloss or nail polish for instance). -

I have several MAC Paint Pots and they really do make a difference in helping my eyeshadow stay on all day. Good old Air Canada delayed my luggage for 60 hours a couple of weeks ago and I didn't have access to my MAC Paint Pot as a primer for my eyeshadow....and for two days straight that that happened, my shadow was smudging by mid-day (not pretty!). I find these are just as good as Urban Decay's Primer which I used for a couple of years before using these. -
I get soooo many compliments on how soft my skin is (seriously) and this is my secret weapon LOL Hands down this is a staple in my daily moisturizing regiment and I'm pretty darn sure nothing will beat this anytime soon.

I'm not a fan of MAC Creme blushes at all but I do have a few favourites for the regular powder blushes. Right now my current favourite is MAC Sunbasque. I have NC35 ish skintone and MAC Sunbasque is just a gorgeous, flattering peach shade......I find that with my skintone and hair colour it's just a more flattering shade than pinks or corals in general. It's a buildable colour, which is great so I think it would suit many different shades of skin. -

I love this blush! This is a colour that will suit a lot of skin tones - particularly light to medium skin tones (although it is a buildable colour for darker tanned skin). It's a gorgeous shade of pink and the pigmentation is perfect without having to use much. I find that I often grab for this colour blush even though I have so many in my stash....so that says something! -

My bf has an awful nail biting habit.
He's been biting his nails since he was a young kid and it's a habit he didn't bother to quit until earlier this year when I mentioned it to him. It wasn't enough for me to suggest he stop biting his nails whenever I saw him doing it so when we went into a Shoppers Drug Mart I suggested that we pick up a nail polish to try to stop his habit. It was about $10.99 at SDM.
How it works is that you apply this as a clear coat nail polish and it has a bitter taste to it.
It is not a matte finish, it is a clear glossy finish.
The nail polish has an unpleasant bitter taste to it that will linger in your mouth for at least a full minute after you stop biting/sucking your nails. I tested it out just to see how it tasted and I agree with Dale that the lingering bitter taste is a strong deterrent.
After a few of months of being vigilant on applying the product has ceased my bf's bad habit of nail biting. This stuff works as a great deterrent to nail biting!

I love this lipgloss! I got it based on reviews I saw on youtube and some blogs.....and I have to agree that the taste is nice (I have a couple of berry flavoured ones), it has great shine AND it is NOT sticky. It is a bit thick but that's how you're going to get a really "wet" lip look which I think is sexy.....there's tons of lipglosses on the market but too many are sticky so I'm glad this one is not. -
