I am usually weary of cleansers that have skin benefits because I feel like I'm just washing its benefits down the drain so I will just put my faith in science and chemistry and hope this formula is doing my skin some good. What I can say for certain is this cleanser is very gentle, comparable in texture to the Drunk Elephant cleanser. Its SLS-free so ideal for sensitive skin and also contains Calendula which is a great for soothing skin. My skin feels soft, supple and hydrated after cleansing. I usually double cleanse and follow up with It Cosmetics Miracle Water on a cotton round to clean any reside/excess, but there isn't any leftover on the skin after cleansing with this product. -

Before the re launch of this fragrance I always preferred Saint over Sinner and that seems to be the consensus but I prefer the dry down of Sinner. The top notes are clary sage and Mirabelle, heart notes are jasmine, almond blossom and lily-of-the-valley and the base notes are vanilla, cedar, peach and musk. This is very simplistic, universal floral fragrance sure to appease many. I don’t typically wear floral fragrances because they all smell the same to me, I like fragrance that isn’t deriguer, I don’t want to smell like everyone else. This EDP sells for $88 CAD but to me it smells like a cheap celebrity fragrance in luxe packaging, but this is a business model that works for a lot of fragrance houses – sell something that feels luxe but make the juice cheap. I would say the sillage is mild to moderate but for an EDP it doesn’t last long on the skin. Kat Von D played it safe with Saint I and again with the re-launch, it would have been nice if she changed things up a bit, like an ode to the former fragrance but made it more relevant. If you are looking for a powdery floral and don’t’ want to break the bank then this is for you. This was sent to me for review. -

I’m reviewing the reformulated Dior Addict EDP which I didn’t know was a reformulation and has made me very curious about what the original version is like. This composition is a standout fragrance in a market inundated with cloyingly sweet-floral fragrances that all smell alike. According to fragrantica, this is a floral fragrance but I would say it’s almost bordering gourmondy. I still smell tonka in this but according to the site, the reformula has no tonka, maybe I’m smelling an accord of Jasmine and Bourbon Vanilla. I am about to make a very bold statement and say this is the longest lasting women’s fragrance I’ve tried and I’ve tried alot! I can still smell it on my hair and clothes two days after wearing it. The jasmine and vanilla give this fragrance impeccable sillage. I would say this fragrance is appropriate for cooler months because it is on the warmer side. -

I've gotten this product in PR and as gratis when I worked for Sephora. Personally, not to knock a product but I don't think I would ever spend this much on a brow product. I am aware it is the number one selling brow product in Sephora because it is a good product mixed with effective marketing. Personally, it's just not my favourite. I can't imagine a single brow product being a game-changer, I think it's about technique and combining different formulas. I disagree that it is a waterproof formula. Wiiiiiith that being said, I do have this in my kit and I do use it on clients for a subtle effect. I however would never use the dinky brush it comes with but it is handy for travel. -

Good conditioner that is thick enough to use everywhere (I have brittle, waist-length blonde hair that is easy to tangle and break). I first put this everywhere before using shea butter hair mask on problem spots i.e. tangled spots or split, dry roots. This routine let my hair feels great, even sleek despite my natural hair type, and it saves the amount of hair mask I have to use, so it's economical as this is cheap but effective as a base layer. -

This is a very sudsy shampoo. This would have been the ultimate “green” product had it been soap-free. The bottle design makes it a wee bit challenging to get the product out. The scent is pleasant but artifical smelling so it can overwhelimng with repeated use. I guess the most important thing is that is effective at washing your hair and the claim is true, about volumizing. -

Low in carbs. Great on avocado toast. Might make you terminally ill if you consume too much. #worth it I hope they come out with new flavours soon, Spring Rain and Lucious Lavender are getting tiresome.
