Honestly, I have a lot of love for Hourglass products. They are exceptionally well made, with quality ingredients.
My daily routine on the weekdays is a simple 4 steps: 1) use Hourglass Veil Primer as a base 2) this foundation on top in 'Sand' 3) fill in brows 4) a little blush & powder to set my face.
I would better describe this product as a tinted moisturizer because of its consistency and hydrating qualities. Always a plus, this product is formulated without Parabens, Sulfates, and Phthalates and has UVA/UVB SPF 15 protection.
But really, all you need to know is that this product is amazing. It gives you that 'not wearing make up but my face is naturally this perfect' look. It has a dewy finish, but if you're skin is more oily, you can simply set it with a powder to mattify it.
I did not know this until I did some more research, but this product is also anti aging. You can read more about it in the link I provided below :)
A little steep at $64 CAD (especially when using every day, like I do), this product is one that makes it painful to hand your card over to the clerk, but it's just so good that you can't skimp on it!

This has been my all time fav perfume for 8 years now. I describe it as a spice vanilla combo (see below for the actual notes), and while it can be quite strong when you first apply it (one spritz goes a long way), it wears sooo nicely and lasts a long time. I have been complimented on my scent after wearing it for 10 hours- no joke! It's always so nice when you get complimented and you can't smell it yourself anymore :)
The only reason I rated the price as average is because I am a perfume addict and will even wear some to bed, so I tend to go through perfume fast! At ~$90 a pop, it adds up! (I became a VIB Rouge member at Sephora because of this).
Notes:
Bitter Almond, Caraway Spice, Sambac Jasmine, Cinnamon, Tuberose, Vanilla, Musk, Mosses, Jucarunda Wood.
Style:
Hypnotizing. Extravagant. Bewitching.

I used to use a dark eye shadow to fill in my brows (I am naturally lighter than my dyed black hair) because I found that a pencil makes my brows look too intense and unnatural. This product is the perfect consistency- you can tell it was developed by a veteran who knows the dos and don'ts of brows!
To apply, I would recommend using an angled, thin brush, and lightly dip it into the product. I actually smear the brush onto the inside of the lid (of the jar) before applying to my brows, so that I don't get too much on my brush. Easy to create 'hair' strokes, lasts long, and does not smudge.
Price is very reasonable for how long the product lasts and how little you need of it. My jar is barely touched and I have used it daily for the past 3 months!
P.S- in case you're wondering, I use the product in 'Ebony'; works the best to match black hair.

I'm a huge believer in investing in a good quality facial moisturizer. I get dryness around my chin and between my eyebrows in the winter. I find that this moisturizer is phenomenal in effectively moisturizing, evening the different textures of skin on my face, and just generally making it feel clean and soft.
The product is made without any Parabens, Sulfates, and Phthalates which makes it awesome for people with sensitive skin, like myself, and even ones who are pregnant :)
Highly recommended as a daily moisturizer, with a daily dose of essential vitamins for your face, already built in.
It makes a huge difference from your average $20 moisturizer you pick up at the drug store. Invest in a good moisturizer, like this one (~$46) and your skin will reward you as you age!
Bottom Line: Great as a daily moisturizer, good for all skin types, great hydration in the winter

I have dark circles under my eyes that never cease to make me look eternally tired. I'm always on the search for a great concealer that will rid me of this little curse, and I have tried pretty much everything Sephora has to offer in that section (last purchase was Make Up Forever HD Concealer). If the stuff is effective, I find that it is quite thick and will crease/cake on my skin. Not to mention, for a quality concealer, I have paid $35 and up for the stuff.
This corrector turns my $6 concealer from the drug store into a little miracle potion. Before I apply my foundation or BB cream, I will use this corrector in Peach (cancels out blue/purple coloring) and then apply my concealer. It is ~$30 but a tiny dab of this stuff goes A LONG way.
This is a must have in my make up bag and I 100% recommend it to anyone that has a similar problem.
P.S- If you're like me and have the horrible habit of picking at your blemishes, this stuff also helps covers those dark scabs before applying foundation :)

Great, even coverage and it is light weight so I don't feel like I'm wearing a million pounds of make up. There is a little transfer, but I can't clearly say whether that is the foundation or the powder I set it with. Definitely one of the better foundations out there and I would recommend it for people who have superficial blemishes, like me, that a visible but not extremely pronounced.
It has a matte finish that is not overly drying so it works well for my combination skin and has even worked for my friend who has dry skin.
When it comes to foundation, I think you definitely notice a difference in quality with foundations, like this one, that cost a little bit more. Given its effectiveness, I think it is a great price for this little wonder in a bottle.
Make sure to go into Sephora and have them use their Skincare IQ on you to get a true color match. First time I bought this foundation it was a little too yellow for my skin. Second purchase of this product was perfect because of that little device :)

I am prone to some superficial blemishes on my face, especially while I'm PMSing, so I am always looking for a product that will prep my face for the application of BB cream (during the week) and foundation (for those nights out). This primer is the best I've ever used; it does much more than extend the life of your make up application. After applying, my skin is visibly smoother (and to the touch!); the primer has oil control, but will also soothe those dry patches I sometimes get. Blemishes appear less red and I find that any product I put on top glides on.
While it is a little pricey (~$60 CAD), the good news is there is a travel size that is half the size of the regular one and also exactly half the cost (so you're not incentivized to buy the big one if you are on a budget). I have sensitive skin so I am very careful of what I put on my face. This is a make up essential for me and I swear by it.
P.S- before you put on a foundation or BB cream, make sure to wait a few minutes to let your skin absorb the primer :)
