Zulily is a great online destination for everything from housewares, to clothing to shoes. I'm not lying when I say I order something from them every week!
What I really like about Zulily as opposed to so many other online websites is that the products they sell are all identifiable brand names at discount prices. They are very similar to Winners only online! They have new options every single day starting at 9am EST and carry clothing and footwear for children, women and men as well as a variety of home goods and health products. I always find things I love and have many items from Zulily in both my wardrobe as well as around my house.
Shipping is, in my opinion very reasonable AND when you order from them you get free shipping on subsequent orders for the next couple of days. You can also shop in Canadian dollars and from what I can tell when tracking my items they seem to have warehouses of some sort in BC and ON from which my orders ship from. I have never paid any kind of extra fee or duty.
The customer service for this company is PHENOMENAL. They are dedicated to ensuring you are happy with your purchase and have always refunded my money promptly if something hasn't fit properly or been up to standard. Not only that, but I've never even had to return anything I wasn't 100% into; they tell you instead to pass it on to someone or donate it. Again, just super responsive customer service!

Love this eyeliner by Marc Jacobs! I purchased this product from Sephora for $31 in the satin finish colour Blacquer. The staying power of this product is beyond amazing! It literally looks exactly the same hours later as it did when you first put it on. I've used many eyeliner products in the past that smudge and/or fade really quickly so I was really impressed with how well this product holds up.
The colour is lush and rich and the sensational gel formula means it goes on so smoothly and easily. I've even noticed that when I rim my lower lashes with this product, I can very carefully smooth this over my lower lashes and it works as a picture perfect, long-lasting mascara that highlights each lash so well!
The crayon comes with a built in sharpener in the base. This product is well worth the money and the formula they have come up with is a beauty winner!

I love Mill Street Organic and it's my go to whenever we dine out (it seems to be available everywhere we go!) as well as here as home.
It's a lighter beer, in alcohol content and in taste, which suits me fine. I don't like a hoppy beer and this is definitely not that. I do find that it has a little more oomph than something like a Bud Light though. It's just a lovely, smooth beer with a clean finish that accompanies any food without interfering with or overpowering the taste of whatever you're eating. I personally love a beer that is light in flavour and doesn't have much of an aftertaste but it will definitely fall flat if you prefer something with a little more body and hoppiness.
Icing on the cake is the fact that it is organic. This is going to be my beer of choice for a long time to come!

This deeply coloured iced tea is delicious. The best way I can describe it is a sort of cranberry tart-like flavour with a hint of something floral (especially in the fragrance). When I checked the ingredients it says hibiscus herbal tea and lemon concentrate which you can definitely taste, but I still feel that it is somewhat similar to a cranberry flavour. It's sweet but not excessively so; there is definitely a tartness to it that you can notice, which is probably from the lemon. It's also sweetened with cane sugar.
This is a great summer time drink and I think it would be a super addition to special summer cocktails as well (vodka for example would probably work really well with this product). I know I will be drinking lots of it!!

This is a personal favourite of mine!
I try to go for a facial every 1-2 months just to really take care of things. My aesthetician uses the Dermalogica line of products and used this as part of my facial and recommended it to me.
It's a fabulously gentle but effective product that can be used every day. It's rice based, so quite natural (lots of exfoliants use things like tiny plastic beads that are horrible for the environment!) It also contains oatmeal which keeps it very soothing to your skin. It also has no added fragrance but does have a really light, distinctive, natural scent. You simply lather it up in your hands and gently massage it over your face.
You do want to make sure you rinse well. It leaves your skin feeling SO smooth and fresh. This product has never irritated my skin or caused me to break out. It also doesn't leave my skin feeling tight or dry which I've noticed with some exfoliating products.
It is definitely high end and the price reflects this but you don't need to use much each time and it lasts quite a while. I paid $75 from the salon.

I have used and enjoyed a number of products from John Frieda but this particular Frizz Ease creme is not one of them.
I colour my hair frequently and as a result I need products that are going to moisturize, de-frizz, strengthen and protect. I bought this product based on other good reviews I had seen online but unfortunately it wasn't the one for me.
For starters, the creme is kind of heavy. You'd think then that at least that quality would make it somewhat effective at combating frizz, however this wasn't the case. It really just kind of made my hair look dirty and dull, but the degree of noticeable frizz was barely changed. I started off using the smallish amount recommended on the tube, then applied more thinking maybe I was misjudging how much to use but it didn't matter. The product just didn't change the look or feel of my hair for the positive It smells ok without overpowering your perfume, so that was a plus.
I find that some of the anti-frizz oils out there are much more effective (on my hair anyway). Perhaps this product would deliver better results for someone who has minimal frizz and doesn't colour or otherwise damage their hair with heated tools. For me, I'll have to take a pass on this one.

I like to find products that I can use to improve and enhance the look of my skin without always having to use a lot of makeup to do so. This product is one that definitely helps me on those days that I don't really want to bother with a full face of makeup but do want to still look vibrant and fresh.
The Tarte Brighter Days moisturizer is an oil free product that is designed to both deeply moisturize your skin while providing a nice, healthy glow. In my opinion they are successful. It goes on so smoothly and absorbs nicely while giving your skin a subtle boost. It's perfect the day after a late night and really bumps up a dull complexion!
You can also use this product under makeup and it can be used in spots as a more traditional highlighter (although I prefer to use an actual highlighter product for that purpose). I haven't tried this yet, but I think it would mix into your foundation quite well. It's basically dewy in a tube! Oh, and it's vegan if that's important to you!

Iced Tea is probably my top go to drink other than water as I try to avoid pop and other sugary, wasted calorie drinks. The Pure Leaf line of iced teas is in my opinion one of the best and most natural available. The lemon flavour is a personal favourite.
This iced tea actually tastes like tea; it doesn't have that sugary, over-sweetened flavour that many iced teas have. When they call themselves real brewed tea, they mean it and as I said, you can tell. The touch of lemon is perfect, so refreshing and really just elevates my enjoyment of this drink.
I should clarify that I am reviewing the UNSWEETENED version of this lemon tea, which is literally just a lemon brewed tea, chilled (and zero calories). If you do prefer a sweeter tea, the sweetened version is much closer to the usual iced tea that other companies make (but still has that real tea flavour). It does have nearly 200 calories though and sugar is the second ingredient. It may not be a better choice than pop from a health perspective.
I will say I have found it a little harder to find the unsweetened versions (there's lemon, green and black tea available without added sugar) but t's worth the effort to find them.

I am a fan of the Avon Glimmersticks line. I've been using the brown chocolate colour recently. It's the perfect shade when you don't want to go with a full black liner, great for daytime wear but not too light. I particularly like that these are self sharpening, a feature that works perfectly and eliminates the mess of sharpening an eye pencil.
It's a long-lasting formula that is waterproof and actually lives up to this claim. Minimal smudging throughout the day, it definitely holds up.
The price point on these is amazing, they are normally $9 but you can get them on sale for a lot less. I just purchased a new one on sale for $3! Avon is a quality brand that certainly rivals most of the brands you can pick up at the drugstore for much more money and is better quality than similarly priced lines in most cases I find.

Calvin Klein Eternity Purple Orchid is a lovely floral scent that smells feminine, slightly sweet and warm. It is definitely primarily floral (obvious given the name!) but I also detect a slight powder type scent in it and on me anyway it sort of settled down into a beautiful, ever so slightly musky, deep floral. I think it is a great scent for any season! I have worn the regular Eternity in the past but honestly can't remember too much about it to compare with this one other than the Purple Orchid is definitely a darker, more dramatic scent.
It has truly amazing staying power, I applied it hours and hours ago and can still smell it (but not in an overpowering way, more like catching little wisps of it now and then).
It comes in a really pretty purple bottle that is literally a perfect representation of the perfume inside. It was a great buy at Winners for only $30 and is a welcome addition to my rotation of perfumes.
