This is a very effective cleanser that is touted as suitable for all skin types. It is a clay based cleanser that you spread over your dry face much like a mask and contains exfoliants to gently smooth your skin. After lathering it up you simply rinse and pat dry. It has a lovely light scent and rinses away easily. It contains diatomaceous earth which must be there for the exfoliation; diatomaceous earth is made from fossilized algae.
After rinsing and drying my skin definitely felt smooth and looked fresher. I did detect a very, very slight feeling of tightness on my skin but it didn't make my face look dry. I think I may not have rinsed quite enough because in later uses of this product I didn't feel any tightness at all.
I honestly couldn't stop touching my face after using this it really did feel so wonderfully smooth! I will definitely be buying this again!

I really didn't like this product for a few reasons.
First of all, I thought this product did the exact opposite of what it is intended to do. I purchased it with the intention of using it to create a nice smooth base for evening makeup application. Even using the smallest amount on my face I felt like it gave my skin a rougher, dry type texture that it didn't originally have and caused my foundation to look flaky. If anything, this product made me look OLDER! My skin was not dry at the time of using this so I am not sure why this happened but I ended up having to wash off my makeup and start over without the Nanoblur.
It felt nice coming out of the tube, like it would go on silky but for me, that wasn't the case. I've noticed others mentioning that you can mix it with moisturizer for better results but for me that defeats the purpose of buying a product that is supposed to work a certain way to begin with. Maybe it just didn't work with my skin for some reason, but because it didn't I can't recommend it.

I bought this not so much as a wrinkle repair product but as what I thought would be an intensive moisturizer for night use preventatively. It was advertised as containing retinol which is what sealed the deal for me.
Bottom line, I don't find this product works. Now to be fair, as I said, I wasn't using it to repair wrinkles, but the very fine lines I am starting to see near my eyes are unchanged. If this product can't handle little lines that are virtually undetectable I can't imagine it's going to do a good job on more pronounced wrinkles.
It also has a strange, strong fragrance, like a medicinal green tea maybe? I'm not generally impressed with skin care products that are super scented. The bottle does say you might experience redness and irritation initially (most likely due to the retinol) but from what I have since researched about this product, it doesn't particularly contain an effective amount of retinol anyway. I'd bet the redness and irritation might be more due to strong fragrances in this product which can be super irritating.
Overall, this product didn't do anything negative to my skin, but it also was a waste of money as it didn't do anything out of the ordinary for my skin. There are many less expensive products that would have provided me with the moisturizing qualities of this product and likely with the retinol effect I was actually hoping for.
Buyer beware, this one's a dud!

I recently purchased Love Grown Foods Oat Clusters in this flavour because I like to have a delicious, healthy topping for my daily yogurt. This is turning out to be one of my favourites!
This particular flavour is a great combination of coconut, dried cranberries, sunflower seeds and pecans. It has a cinnamon flavour to the granola which is really lovely without being overly sweet (which is also what I like about this being cranberries; even though it is called sweet cranberry, I don't find it as sweet as some other granolas that have dried fruits in them). It's also very filling and seems to keep me feeling satisfied until lunch which is great as I am a calorie counter. This does the trick (130 calories for 1/4 cup which is a more than generous amount as a fruit or yogurt topper!)
Other good qualities:
100% Vegan
100% Gluten-Free
Verified Non-Gmo
It's a little bit pricier than your standard granola when not on sale but definitely worth it in terms of great taste and nutritional value. One hint: Make sure you seal up your bag well after each use, the cranberries can get a little hard if you don't.

I recently discovered these drinks at Foodland and I LOVE them!
Unlike most flavoured sparkling waters, these actually have a pronounced fruit flavour, you can actually taste the fruit rather than it being a super subtle, barely there hint of flavour in a bubbly base (which I have had so many times and don't like at all). These are much more like a sparkling juice without all the calories (only 50 calories a bottle).
The juices are sweetened but it's a minimal amount of natural cane sugar; these have far less sugar in them than a standard juice product. That's definitely another plus as well as the fact that I've found most flavoured waters have artificial sweeteners in them that leave a weird after taste. NOT the case here.
I have tried every flavour (lemon lime, triple berry, orange twist and black cherry) except Ruby Grapefruit, and that's only because the store didn't have that flavour. My favourite is Black Cherry, it has a nice, authentic cherry taste, a great choice if you're a fan of cherry cola but don't want the sugar or the calories!
I paid $1.49 for each 250 ml bottle and feel it was money well spent!

This product is beautiful, smells great and works quite well. It comes in a cute little pot with a paddle applicator. You do need to recombine the ingredients before each use as it is a combination of oil and sugar scrub that separate when sitting. It's been entered here as a shea butter scrub but it does also contain several other types of oil including almond and grape seed oil.
You really only need a fairly small amount to get good results; this does a good job of smoothing out rough hands, particularly the cuticle area if that is an area of concern. After a good scrub and rinse my hands feel amazingly soft and smooth. And again, the smell is so light and pleasant.
I will say that I don't find this product to make any particular difference in terms of moisturizing. It's a super effective exfoliator but I do find myself using a separate moisturizer most days.

One of my favourite laundry products, I love, love, LOVE the fresh scent of Gain. I have 3 pets in my home so something that leaves everything I wash smelling fresh and clean is a top priority. Gain always does the job and the flings are so easy to use with no drippy mess like I sometimes get with liquid laundry detergents. Even though I am really all about the scent, this product also includes Oxi Boost and definitely does a great job cleaning.
One thing I have noticed is that occasionally with a large cold water load you may end up with a little bit of a gummy residue on what you are washing (this has happened to me twice with a larger blanket). I'm pretty sure this was my fault though as I may have tossed the fling in getting it caught up in the blanket. These should really be added before putting your clothes in.
The familiar Gain scent is very noticeable and quite long-lasting with this product. If you love the smell of Gain like I do, this is a good thing. If you are scent sensitive, this is probably not the best product for you.

I ordered this product from Sephora because I had been using powder blush and wanted to see if a cream formula might look more natural. I chose the limited edition Bare Minerals Pop of Passion Blush Balm in Papaya Passion, a fresh, coral toned colour.
I really like this product because it smooths on so well, it's very blendable without feeling oily. It's quite a sheer product so if you want a really deep blush look this may not work for you (although the colour can definitely be built on). I think it gives you a very natural, clean, youthful touch of colour. It does tend to fade by the end of the day but I notice that with most products I've tried.
I also like that this product contains Vitamin E which is very good for your skin. I have in the past experienced break outs with some powdered blush products, so far this blush hasn't had any negative effect on my skin. It is absolutely more expensive than I am used to paying but in this case I'm happy enough with the results to feel ok about the cost.
Overall I really like this blush and think it's the perfect intensity colour wise for day to day wear. I recommend this for anyone wanting to try a cream style blush or looking for a product that offers a very natural colour suitable for day wear.

These are my go to when I want to feel like I'm being a little bit healthier (because let's face it, fries and similar products just aren't very healthy!)
The Alexia sweet potato puffs are only 140 calories for 2/3rd's of a cup serving, compare that to french fries with can be in excess of 500 calories a serving easily! These are also organic (so they cost a little more, about $4-5/bag). They actually really do get crispy in the oven which I am super pleased about as so many frozen fry type products just don't turn out that well in the oven and are a real let down.
On the inside, these are soft and fluffy. I usually eat them with a small side of chipotle mayo for dip, yum! My bf thinks these are too sweet but he isn't a sweet potato fan to begin with. I on the other hand love the sweet, smooth flavour of sweet potatoes so these don't disappoint.
I bet these would fry up nicely too but I haven't tried as I'm trying to keep my calories down. Give these a try if you are looking to eat lighter or want a french fry substitute. They definitely help satisfy that junk food craving without packing the calories and grease!

This is one of my favourite sunblocks! Because I am very strict about not burning (especially on my face) I always make sure to wear something with SPF. When I'm using a straightforward sunblock, this is the one I choose.
First, the scent is wonderful! It's a lovely, subtle lavender scent, a lot nicer than many other options. It's a very rich, creamy formula that spreads on smoothly and absorbs relatively quickly. II use it both on my face and my body. It seems to have good staying power; I've applied it before swimming and haven't been burned an hour later.
I do notice that if you get into anything very strenuous it can sting a little in the eyes (as with most sunblocks) so if you are going to be really active you might want to consider a hat of some sort and skip applying this to your forehead.
I've only seen this particular one in SPF 45, which is a great choice for adults and children in general. The brand itself does make sunblock in other SPF numbers. It is definitely a little more pricey than the average sunblock brand but I think it's a nice enough product that it's worth a little extra.
