I read other reviews, and a lot of people were commenting about clumps. When I used this mascara, it seemed like it actually had little lash-type pieces in it? At first I thought they were just my lashes that had come out and were stuck on the brush, but it seems like they are there every time. I'm not sure if this is supposed to add to the lashes, or whether I am just imagining this. This mascara works pretty well. It does make my lashes look longer and thicker. However, I was walking outside on a windy day, and I found that just my eyes watering a bit results in a lot of running. What you would expect for the price; you get what you pay for. -

I received this product as a member of the review club. I was a little leery when I got it, because I get headaches easily from scents. I usually really like the smell of vanilla, and that was the case with this as well. The vanilla smells really good, and I was pleasantly surprised by the lavender. i thought it would smell really 'perfumy' but that wasn't the case. The scent is pretty light, which is great for me, but still noticeable in my apartment. The price seems a little high, but I do like that there are the 2 rotating smells. -

The flavour was strong enough that you could actually taste it, but not overwhelming. The flavours all tasted pretty good, I think my favourite was the lemonade. My husband liked it as well. There was still the slight aftertaste from the artificial sweetners, but not too bad. Overall, much better for you then drinking a sugary juice, with a very similar taste! -

I found that my experience was similar to other reviews I read. The cream was a little thick, and as I have long thick hair, I was pretty worried I wouldn't have enough. I definitely could have used more dye, but as my hair is likely longer then average, I think this wouldn't be a problem for most people. The smell was pretty similar to other hair dyes, maybe a bit better. Following the dying, my hair looked a bit darker, but not a lot. This was fine though, as I wasn't looking for a big change. The main reason I don't dye my hair is that I hate the look of roots, and I'm hoping this will prevent that. I have curly hair, and this seemed to be fairly gentle on it, my hair does feel soft afterwards. So far, I would recommend for slight colour changes. -

I received the Mad for Mauve and Green with Envy palettes to test from ChickAdvisor. I was super pumped to try them out, as I have wanted to try experimenting more with different colours. Overall, I would agree with many of the other reviews. The shadows produced a lot of shimmer, but not a lot of actual colour pigmentation. The depth of colour was more suited towards a daytime look, but the shimmer made it more suited towards evening. I think that if I wanted to wear it for evening, I might have to use another shadow to get enough colour for the sort of dramatic look that it is supposed to give. The shadows blended very well, but maybe almost too well. The colours just seemed to blend together and didn't give much of range. I checked out the Maybelline website, and found they had a really neat tutorial on how to apply the shadows for maximum effect. I think it might be helpful to have a little more info on the package. Overall, fairly standard drugstore brand eyeshadow. Lots of shimmer, but not a lot of colour. -

I got this as a gift this Christmas. I was excited to try it out, because I had always heard that it was amazing. The first thing I noticed was the smell. It sort of smells like a mixture of peppermints and vaseline. The peppermint smell gave me a headache the first time I used it, but I've gotten used to it now. As for moisturizing my lips, I wouldn't say it is much better or worse then the other products I have tried. For the price, I don't think it is really worth spending the extra money. -

This is without a doubt the best mascara I have ever used! It goes on well, without any clumps, and coats your lashes right to the tips. Even with a few coats it doesn't clump very much. It stays on all day, but is fairly easy to get off. The first waterproof mascara that I have ever been able to get off in one try. I would highly recommend it! -
