This IS a good product. It mixes well with my Algenist colour corrector drops & hasn't pilled once with my moisturizer. It smells nicely herbal and is moisturizing on my face. It does remain slightly tacky which helps prolong my foundation wear. I find it a bit draggy when blending, but it does blend eventually.
I am still however on the fence about whether I will continue to use it and/or purchase this. I have mature skin that has never had issues with blemishes and 5 days in of using this product, I have 3 on my face. It could just be a coincidence. I'm letting my face clear and will retry when it has.

I was so happy to be chosen to review Vichy Idealia Skin Sleep AND a bonus product in the Serum! I was super excited since I love trying out new skin care. With the price point this serum is, I wouldn't have tried it otherwise since I rarely just buy something this highly priced without having tried a tester or sample. I especially love serums.
The packaging is simple but clean. The pump provides enough serum to cover my face in a light layer and another half-ish pump for my neck. Super easy to use. I have normal to dry aging skin. This product was wonderful and did exactly what it was said to do. I love the light, fresh smell. The formula absorbs quickly and doesn't stain my (white) pillow case. I like that the product does not "gunk" up in the pump so you end up with a hard lump mixed in when you spread it on your face.
I use this serum in tandem with the Vichy Idealia Skin Sleep gel balm that I also received. The two products together are amazing. This serum is white and has a slight pearl-like sheen with does not show on your face. I find it similar in look, feel and results to the L'Oreal Youth Code Serum which is less than half the price. But, that is not to say that I don't love this one as well!
After only the first use, I was impressed with how soft, smooth and plumper my skin felt. I did not wake up with any dry patches and over the week that I have been using it, I've noticed that the dullness I would periodically see in the mornings has been waning. I feel it's too soon to tell if some of the discoloration I have has diminished, but overall, my skin looks more even toned and fresh.
Bottom line, I really love this product. And if I catch a good sale, have a coupon or bonus point promotion, I will definitely repurchase this product.

The packaging is simple but clean. The jar is easy to open and the light pink cream is a happy colour. I have normal to dry aging skin. I'm so glad that I received a sample of this before flat out buying it. I really didn't like it! The product seemed almost chunky (?) for lack of a better word. It was relatively thin, but there were little granules in it that did not play well with my moisturizer. It pilled on my face & wasn't evening at all. I tried it many times & just couldn't get it to work no matter what I did. I ended up passing it along to a friend... -

For the longest time I avoided buying one of these... I figured it was the same as all the other gel liners I had used in the past from the drugstore & that it wasn't worth the price tag... WRONG! I bought one of the most recent ones from the Shop/Cook collection in Wholesome. I find that black is a tad too harsh on me for everyday and figured that the dark chocolate colour of this would be a happy medium between black & brown. It is perfection. It glides on smoothly, never fades, flakes or smears and lasts all day until I remove it. I have since purchased Waveline as well & will not hesitate to buy another if they release new colours! It is worth the hype & the price tag - a definite repurchase! -

I received this from ChickAdvisor's Product Review club for free 2 weeks ago and have been using it every day since. I have always shied away from these types of bar soaps and haven't used bar soap in years since body washes have flooded the market. That being said, this is a really nice soap. It is gentle but effective and leaves your skin softer by the use. I think I miss the luxuriousness of a lathered bar soap now! The only downfall, be it relatively minor, is the scent. I could smell it before even opening the package. It made my whole bathroom smell like the soap as well. The smell is not unpleasant but it does strike me as old fashioned. I will repurchase this, but I will be on the lookout for an unscented version. -

This is my go-to initial makeup remover for my eyes. It is soothing, gentle and effectively removes 95% of my eye makeup in one sweep using a makeup removing round that I have left on my lashes for a bit to soften the makeup. I like to follow up with a micellar water to get the last residue of mascara from my lashes. I can usually find it on sale at Shoppers or Jean Coutu and frequently in the bonus size. It is also sold at a reasonable price at Walmart. I have tried several cream or gel removers in the past but always return to this one. -

I like the way that this mascara defines and separates my lashes. I have rarely experienced clumping with it either. It is perfect for my lower lashes as it never seems to smudge or flake no matter how long I have it on for. I have yet to experience brush transfer when applying as I usually get from over sized brushes like LashBlast.
I really like this mascara for casual days or work looks. I don't find it to be the most lengthening or volumizing formula even though it is nice and does a reasonable job at both. So for those days I want a little more oomph, I enjoy using this as a base coat for layering under more dramatic mascaras.
Price wise I feel that I got an excellent deal as its regular price hovers around $10/tube which for drug store is a little on the pricier end of the scale. I found a 2-pack at WalMart for $10.
Worth trying out just for the separation it gives lashes even if not the most volumizing - you can always layer as I do.
